The staff is inconsiderate and doesn't uphold the customer service values that Marriott vocalizes. No one helped us with our bags and when I tried to get help the lady at the front desk tried to act like they didn't understand. On top of us, the wifi is down. I would not recommend staying here.

What differentiates one hotel from another? I know you are thinking about the price, and that is an important component.

The other difference is what the hotel does when something goes wrong. I went down to the front desk to pickup my skip-the-dishes order.

I asked the front desk where my order is and he stared at me blankly and started to look around the desk and under things. Me? I think someone else is enjoying my fabulously expensive meal. Then fate dropped by.

His cohort was listening to our conversation, and she jumped in. She said that because the hotels are very close, sometimes skip-the-dishes delivers to the other hotel. She asked for my room number and then ran over to another hotel before I could say anything.

She comes running back, saving our order and our dinner. This is great customer service. It may be a few more shekels, but it's worth it.

Beautiful and scenic rooms. Can choose options for rooms. I booked a room with 2 queen beds because of kids and it worked out fine

Stayed there last Saturday. Building overall is newer with parking, decent condition. However, it was missing too many simple features. 20 minutes to check in because of system issues, empty body wash bottle in room #302, no plastic bags in garbage cans with one of them not emptied, no recycling bins, etc. Looks like they’re having staffing issues and unable to maintain basic room cleaning and setup.

The hotel itself is a fairly decent hotel, but the staff led by Mary who is perhaps the most ignorant customer service person who has ever worked in any field and blindly seconded by JD, who somehow got the title of Manager makes this hotel an instant stay away. You'd be better off staying at the Bates Motel.

Abundance of parking.

I checked in, and although I received online check in, I was told I had to do it again. The supervisor was quite rude, and although the woman working was trying to help he kept talking over her - and his cell phone was blaring next to her while we tried to talk. He continuously called me ma'am in a condescending way, and even though my keys repeatedly did not work he decided when I came back to get keys 3 hours later that I had to wait longer. The woman who knew I had issues getting into my room tried her best but he literally told her not to help me. When she started to assist he cut her off over and over. Incredibly rude. Her name was Maro, she was incredibly polite and helpful.

The hotel is clean. It is advertised as being an “airport hotel” but there are much closer hotels to the airport for the same price. The staff at check in was not overly friendly. The restaurant in the hotel is awful. I got a free breakfast with my stay and I have never seen a breakfast this badly put together with such limited selection of items. I would recommend staying at another hotel that has better services.

When I stay in Calgary I come here. A little higher priced but the service is incredible and rooms are top shelf. Restaurant and lounge is quaint and food is above average. Well done

Stayed for 1 night only and our room was real good. The front-desk guy was so nice during the check-in! Complimentary shuttle and parking were an awesome addition to the overall experience.
Minuses:
1. The room service did not bring us the forks and plates as we requested. I had to go down to the restaurant myself so they’d give me the plastic cutlery.
2. The white comforter had some dark (might be bloody) spots on it.
3. During the checkout, the front-desk lady neither asked how our stay was nor wished a good day.
4. The alarm clock was showing the wrong time. Could be a problem if someone relies on it for their flight.

My boyfriend checked in and paid cash, and I followed up with our credit card. We have a receipt saying we paid cash; however, we were also charged for our room on the credit Card. When I spoke to the clerk he made some remark about us being musicians and basically told us our receipt is wrong, due to bias, that we didn't pay cash, although we have a receipt that says we did pay in cash.paid twice.

They charged extra from my deposit. We booked for 4 people and I messaged them to add 1 more person. They didn’t confirm ID of guests and they charged for 2 more people… The hotel manager that I was talking on the phone was very arrogant and didn’t help and she said I booked for 6 people that I don’t understand. I have an email confirmation of booking 4 people. I contacted customer service too but they never emailed me back… Please help.

Decent place to spend a night in Calgary. Room is clean and what you will expect at an old Four Points property. Two downsides: (1) the restaurant is really bad. Breakfast is bad, and lunch/dinner even worse, so just don’t eat at the hotel. (2) it is located at the east side of the city- if you choose this hotel as your base for Banff that would mean you have to drive across Calgary, which is a very bad idea.

Updating review. Had a great experience during the recent visit. Staff at front desk was very helpful. Rooms were clean and everything was upto the mark.

Very rude front staff. Made reservation online on Marriott website and they did not have my reservation in system. Somehow they were able to make new reservation and match the rate. When i got the bill, the charged me twice for extra adult. Showed the online reservation to the lady at front but she was very rude to listen anything. Her behaviour was so rude that our entire family got scared. Very bad experience. Never staying there again.

Loved my stay at the Hotel with very reasonable prices as they provide great services with clean and spacious rooms with underground parking.
The reception was quick and easy to check-in. Will visit again!

A prime example of why you shouldn’t trust the cleanliness of hotels. It’s no wonder why these bedsheets were “off-white. ” When held to the light, you’ll see ALL OF THE DIRT STAINS. This was a 2 queen bed suite. There were stains on the sheets of BOTH BEDS.

Rooms received a refresh, looks more modern. They seem to be having issues with the elevators, only one worked. Central location, close to airport and downtown.

Kitchen Breakfast was a supper good. First place I saw chev came out checked about the quality of food. Sorry it took me longer to do the review but l still remember your friendly talk.

Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ. ᴄᴏm when booking any room. This site will compare hundreds of booking websites and normally will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of the best in the area. I've been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you won't regret it.

We hosted our son's first birthday party at this location. We loved the whole experience. The arrangements and room layout was amazing, staff was so cordial, food was delicious and everything was on point. A shout out to the banquet manager and her staff. Highly recommended if you are looking for a venue to host the party.

We stayed for one night and had an early flight out at the airport. We were told the airport shuttle begins service at 4 AM and we’d be there around 4: 20 AM. We didn’t leave until 4: 20 AM because of one person that was running late. The shuttle inconvenienced the 8 of us that woke up on time for someone that doesn’t know how to set their alarm clock. Unreal. We would have taken a taxi or an Uber to get to the airport earlier if we had known we’d be running this late.

Great hotel! Very clean. Rooms are good size and very comfortable. Underground garage parking - complimentary. Very reasonable rates. Will absolutely stay here again when visiting Calgary!

Room was clean but a few things were a bit disappointing. Blinds in room were broken, tv remote did not work, and no mini fridge in room. TV signals not very good either. Hot tub jets were not working and pool area could use a bit more maintenance. Walls are very thin.
Staff was very nice. Would not stay longer than a couple days.

The hotel itself looks nice enough from the outside, but a few things came up for us on the inside. The pool was cold and murky, one elevator wasn't working, the bath tub drain plug in our room wasn't functioning, the toilet wasn't flushing, we had to ask for a fridge which was delivered timely and there was lack in parking as when we came in super late there was no parking spot. In addition, there wasn't a continental breakfast but they did have yummy food from the menu to order.

Amenities and room were great but the security guard and night desk clerk threatened to call the cops on me for collecting myself in the hallway by the pool. When approached and threatened with being removed by police, I had a panic attack because it was the last thing I needed after a train wreck weekend at Chasing Simmer where our friend group was processing not one but TWO assaults and heat exhaustion. I struggle with ADHD and autism, so needless to say the panic attack started hitting me quickly. The security guard proceeded to smile and laugh at me when I expressed to him my frustration with his lack of patience with me while I was having a meltdown. Just as he did this, my friends turned the corner and the look on his face in front of me in distress on the floor made her sick to her stomach. We immediately packed up at 1-2am and left because we felt so unheard and unsafe there. Not even sorry that I told them both to screw themselves as we left. I highly suggest some better general health/mental health training for this group of staff. I will never stay here again. I’m just so appalled and disgusted by this whole situation.

The biggest mistake we made on our recent road trip was choosing this hotel. All the front desk could do was apologize for all the inconvenience. When we arrived the only 2 handicapped parking spaces were taken by vehicles without the proper legal parking pass. After checking in, we went to our room that was not made up. The front desk apologized again and said they would upgrade us to a bigger suite. When we got to that room, the first thing we noticed was no bedside night tables and nothing in the washroom like soap. The maintenance individual brought a night stand and bathroom essentials. The desk clerk " JD " did everything possible to make things right, without the support of management that appeared to care less about its guests.
Never again, and I suggest you think twice about this hotel.

The room was spacious and clean, the bed and linens were crisp and comfortable. However the Bathroom door handle fell of in our hands and the sink tap was loose. The guests would benefit from a real coffee maker and real mugs. The elevator floor was a slip hazard due to lack of carpit and people going from the pool to the room, the elevator was extremely slow and only one appeared to work. The front desk service was confusing as the staff seemed to be more concerned about working out front desk process rather then serving the guests. When we were finally served the receptionist was very helpful. The pool was pleasant but basic. The buffet breakfast was quite expensive. Guests would enjoy real eggs for breakfast not powder eggs (they were discussing) even though the server made a special point of getting the cook to prepare fresh powdered eggs and hash browns we still couldn't eat them.we also think the restaurant would benefit from a reasonably priced continental breakfast.

I stayed here after camping for a week in Banff and Jasper National Park. It rained on the last night so I set my tent in the back to dry off. It was outside for 15-20 minutes and the staff approached me when I was taking it down and told me they called the police because they thought they had a squatter. It was a nice pop up Coleman tent and I’m confused about their conclusion and reaction to the situation. They were pretty rude to me.

The room was good & clean + the pool was nice.

What wasn't so nice was how front desk staff communicate regarding the breakfast that they have available. There is a continental breakfast in a restaurant attached to the hotel. Although there is no table service or receptionist, or price listed by the breakfast area (or anywhere else), this breakfast is not free. It would be great if front desk employees made this clear either on check-in, or via email, but that wasn't the case. Instead, they indicated it was available from 7am-10am, without mentioning that there was a cost, or what that cost would be. Only once we almost finished or breakfast did someone come up to us and tell us there was a cost ($13 + tax pp).

Complained with concierge about this. "If it was free, you would have been given vouchers for breakfast".

Not clear how I would have known that beforehand of course for a mediocre at-best continental breakfast. And they can't do anything about it, because the restaurant that the breakfast is served from isn't part of the hotel.

Then why do you tell people that there's a contintal breakfast available that you offer, without mentioning it's not included, and that you don't really offer but a connected restaurant offers for a price? There's also a timmies a 1-minute walk away as well. Why not tell me breakfast is available at timmies?

The hotel is great.
The breakfast buffet was pitiful, they did not even have a napkin to use, not worth the money. I did not try to order off of extra charge menu.

The customer service here was excellent. Joshua checked us in at 2: 30AM and was very pleasant and welcoming, explaining all of the hotel details. He offered us the Bonvoy benefits that come as a status member, without being asked. Upon our departure, we had an issue with our room and I quickly communicated this to the front desk upon leaving and was pleased to return home to an email addressing my concerns (again, without having to nag!). We were very impressed with this kind gesture.

The hotel is beautifully renovated on the inside with modern decor. Our room was very clean. The airport shuttle runs every hour. The hotel itself is close to McDonalds, Tim’s, etc.

My only recommendation would be to ensure there are lamps next to each bed. Our room did not have any for some reason (only a desk lamp far away and fixed light next to the entrance). I don’t believe this is the case with all of the rooms though, as other room photos have lamps.

It is all over the place, even thought the name says by the airport it is not.
Service was amazing, from the front desk driving the shuttle due to staff shortage, the night auditor coming to help our AC, to the amazing housekeeping lady for her recommendations around town.
However the facility was not exactly new looking, maybe each floor/rooms are different, but ours looked old, none like the pictures we saw online. The pool water was not cold, was quite warm even at the end of the day.

I am a Marriott gold elite member, I am away from home every week and choose to stay at Marriott properties every time and 99% of the time they are great. This hotel however falls into that 1% that isn’t so great. I stayed for one night July 7th.
Front desk staff was extremely rude and not accommodating at all. It seemed like everything I asked her had some sort of a charge to it or it was a inconvenience.
Without getting to much into all of this, if there is another Marriott location close by I suggest you go to that one…
I can promise you the service will be better and you won’t get charged $15 here and $15 here for services that they should be doing for free.

Convinient hotel with good rooms and service.

The check in and out process was easy.

However the washrooms were so so in terms of being up kept. This meant there was no conditioner and that there were some nicks and dents in the washroom. This was the thing from keeping me from giving it 5 stars

I honestly don’t recommend staying here they are very rude and tried to keep our deposit because they didn’t add the gst on. Also I left my baby’s shoes (Jordan’s) in the closet and we called them to ask for them back but they said they weren’t there. The house keepers try coming in when we were sleeping in the morning. Our bathroom toilet was not working their plumber couldn’t even fix it, we had to ask them not once but twice. I never go my baby’s shoes back from them for 2 days. Front desk staff were also yelling and swearing at me. My stay here was not good at all and I overall don’t recommend it.

We did the walk in for mother's day has to wait for a bit but the brunch was good for $35 kids enjoy the chocolate fountain and why to pay more money for tons of stuff it was mother's eat for free it was only one place town would offer this.resturant called il foron fusion thank you for having us. Stayed in element and came over for breakfast at il forno we were 8 of us ordered off from the menu food was delicious with fast serive and lady help the server to bring the food seens server alex has couples more tables.

We chose this hotel for the name, the pool/spa, and the location. We stayed for 7 days and there were 4 of us (2 adults, 2 teenagers - 11/15).

The room was nice and spacious. The beds were comfy. And the bathroom featured a nice spread. The only complaint was they took out the mini fridge and didn’t give any explanation as to why when asked. As we were there for 7 days it was a very big let down. They didn’t even offer or ask to upgrade our room.

The pool/spa were nice but basic. They do have a sauna and a steam room. The room can get loud as the acoustics were lousy. My complaints for this area is the spa didn’t have jets and there was no notice or explanation as to why. Seemed odd.

The location is convenient and quiet. There’s a Tim’s nearby and a Starbucks or a second cup close. A mall and major grocery store are also close by as this hotel doesn’t have a continental breakfast, good for families to go to the store and get breakfast goodies. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel, but the price will make you faint.

Due to COVID restrictions we didn’t get daily house keeping. This was fine as they explained in an email that all you have to do is request house keeping the day before or if it’s a small request to get it in before 10 AM. They were awesome accommodating that.

The parking was good as they had front, back and underground. If the hotel fills up though you will have trouble getting a spot if you come in late.

I suggest in the future that this hotel be more upfront with guests as to what is not working and why something is missing from a room. And maybe offer cheap slippers for walking to the pool and back. (Just something nice to have but not really needed).

After a long day of flight delays, I arrived in Calgary at 3: 00 am. Staff were quick to get me from the airport to my room and they were SUPER friendly, courteous and kind. Room was large and clean. Bed was comfortable. Pulled down the night shade and slept until 10: 30 am.

Was there for mothers day brunch it was nice treat for mothers eat for free and brunch nice and small worth for $35 and food was amazing eggs benny was soft but it depands everyone choice. Nice soft juicy rosemary chicken.
