Four Points by Sheraton Edmonton Gateway

Nice and cozy place to stay every time we visit Edmonton. A very accommodating reception and great housekeeping services. Kudos!

I will highly recommend other hotels in the surrounding area instead of this one. For three days in a roll, my husband and I have been booking rooms in South Edmonton just to get away from home and have fun. We have been delightfully pleased until now. On Saturday as we were getting ready to leave, we had an emergency so we had to stay for an additional night. So we started looking for a last minute room around the same price we paid for the past two days. Sadly for me, I choose the Four Points by Sheraton. I was initially excited thinking that it will have the same standards like the rest Home 2 Suites and TownePlace, whom by the way were already sold out on rooms that we wanted. When I arrived at Four Points by Sheraton, I was quite disappointed. First, our room had a door connected to another room (a stranger room) I had to put a table right in front of that door for security.
When I called the front desk, I was told basically that is what I paid for, they couldn't accommodate us for another room, in which I will feel safer.
Trash cans (garbage bins) had no garbage bag on them. Ladies, imagine if you are. I couldn't believe my eyes.
Please don't waste your money. If you want a last minute deal, look elsewhere Not at Four Points by Sheraton. You will surely regret it.

Typical standards consistent of FP by Sheraton. Stayed here in business and the rooms were clean and spacious. Online check-in and mobile key worked great as usual and lot of parking spaces outside.

We booked a king sized bed and fold out couch in May 2022. Had an issue with our credit card so had to pay a deposit with our debit. No big deal. Was told it would be returned to us. It's almost September and still no return. Have called and was told a manager would call me back asap. Still waiting. Also said room had only a king sized bed so my son slept in a chair. When I called to find out why no fold out bed when it clearly showed on my reservation, they said they had no rooms with this. Previously we stayed in one so not sure what they were talking about. Pool is extremely small. Will not stay here again.

Perfect location, clean and amazing customer service. Kudos to Manpreet and Jatin these guys went above and beyond expectations to make sure we had a great stay. Also, Sonika and Ashnil were great at making sure the stay was comfortable. Really kind and friendl folks here. Definately a 5 to these guys and will stay here on every trip to Edmonton!

Great service and great rooms at the Four Points. Had a king suite, the rooms were well appointed and clean. The hotel lobby smells and looks amazing. The pool and fitness centre are well equipped. Overall a great stay!

This is where we end up after being booked at Best Western but they are fully booked, so we are very happy about our over night stay at Four Points because of the hospitality and service of the staff.

It went smooth from parking to bringing all of our things to our room. And they even offered us a free sample dinner of Butter Chicken and choice of beverages such as sodas, wines and beers.

I have stayed at this location on and off since it opened about 7 years ago. It has consistently been an excellent stay. The staff are capable, friendly and the hotel is always spotless. I am a swimmer, and I'm impressed with the way they care for their pool facilities. Always pristine and the chlorine is appropriately managed, which is unusual for a hotel pool.

It is conveniently located at the junction of highway 2 and Ellerslie road - if you have come to Edmonton to shop, I highly recommend this hotel. It is moments away from the South Commons, and a quick drive to hop on the Henday if you're interested in West Edmonton Mall. It's a direct shot north to downtown. There is underground parking available as well, which we certainly appreciated last week during the snowstorm. I have never been disappointed with this hotel.

We were there for a soccer tournament this past weekend and arrange for a group booking for our team as this hotel was only 5 minutes from our venue. We dealt with Aia for our group booking and she was EXCELLENT! We had not been to an out of town tournament since the beginning of the pandemic and she was awesome to deal with. Helped us with getting boardrooms so that we could have our team meetings and somewhere to eat their team meals and anything else we could need for the weekend. I had a ton of questions leading up to the weekend and she answered them all promptly and friendly. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel rooms were updated and very clean and the lobby was very open and inviting for those that just wanted to hang out and read while the team was doing their thing. Lastly, I was impressed with how quiet it was. There is another hotel right next door and the hotel is on a major road and it was surprisingly quiet at night.

Nice affordable hotel, I regularly stay here on multiple short trips I make to Edmonton from Calgary a couple times a year. They have free coffee in the lobby too!

First stay at this Sheraton and was very impressed from the start, it’s all in the details. Plenty of rolling carts for luggage, front desk associate was very helpful and accommodating. Coffee station was also a nice touch especially being a cold morning. Beautiful well cleaned room, not sure what it is about there mattress and pillows but had a phenomenal sleep.

I went here to attend a party. First impression the place is a bit messy for afternoon time and the area is not properly arrange.

Underground parking, clean and comfortable, close to many attractions and amenities. Amazing and helpful staff! Definitely will be “go to” hotel when I’m Edmonton!

Didn't actually stay at the hotel, we went to the attached white spot for dinner. Delicious food and drinks, nice atmosphere (classy but still family appropriate) and they've updated the menu to include new items. Service was pretty good considering the hour we went and the holiday season. Happy, would go again.

Ground level washroom doors are safety hazards. Doors of washrooms almost touching the tabs and if you try to close the dor or hold it fingers get stuck between them. I really got hurt. I cant belive such famous hotel has that safety issue and got license for washrooms like that. WATCH OUT FINGERS.
