Four Points by Sheraton Edmonton South

I recently had the pleasure of hosting a company event at the Four Points by Sheraton Edmonton South, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the entire experience.

From the moment we started planning, the event manager, Monia, stood out for her exceptional professionalism and attention to detail. She flawlessly handled all of our requirements, ensuring that every aspect of the party was perfect. Monia's expertise and dedication truly made our party the highlight of the year for the entire company.

The venue itself exceeded our expectations. The arrangements were done with precision, and the atmosphere was festive and welcoming. The food served was not only delicious but also catered to diverse tastes, receiving rave reviews from all our attendees.

In addition to the event, we booked rooms for our out-of-town employees, and the accommodations were nothing short of fantastic. Everyone praised the quality and comfort of the rooms, making their stay just as enjoyable as the event itself.

Overall, our experience at Four Points by Sheraton Edmonton South was nothing short of outstanding. I highly recommend this venue for any event, and we look forward to returning for future gatherings.

We had our wedding here last August. People are very accommodating and the events manager is very helpful. She took some stress off for us during our important day. There were hiccups but they compensated generously. I would recommend.

We were part of the evacuation. But Jasneet the front desk agent. She was way too polite whenever I asked for cream& sugar. But overall she gave us a good environment during the stay. We are so glad with her service.

The rooms were nice with exception of the bathroom, they for sure need to be re-done.

The beds were extremely comfy, and the staff was amazing! Kind of sad there was no hot tub, but overall a good place to stay in a pinch.

The hotel has recently undergone a major renovation with all new interiors and furniture. The room cleanliness has consistently been top notch and the front desk service has always been warm and welcoming.
Having a great GM has had a positive influence on the rest of the staff at the hotel. Maylyn, Ben, Amanda, and Siti have always been great at the front desk and have made my stay as pleasant as possible.

Stayed for 5 nights. On the first morning after a long trip I was woken up by hotel staff banging on my door saying they needed to come in because of a water leak. They came in and checked the bathroom and found nothing. I went back to bed, an hour later they wake me up again by calling me on the phone and telling me I need to change rooms because of a leak in a room next to mine. This by itself was not a huge problem, I understand things happen, what upset me was how the hotel handled it. I was here for 5 nights so had a decent amount of stuff to repack and was lacking sleep from the disturbances. I asked the hotel manager for 1 night free for the inconveniences but she refused and would only give me a $25 dollar gift card for food/drink. I feel like most good hotels would certainly comp 1 free night for that without me even having to ask.

On top of that, the new floor they moved me to had active renovations going on so I had to listen to construction for the rest of my trip - loud hammering and drilling every morning at 8 A. M lasting all day (They made no mention of any renovations when booking which is also shady) They probably know people wont want to stay here so they keep it a secret until you get here.

The hotel is also dirty, smells bad and is loud. Dirty/stained sheets and pillows, dirty bathtub, dirty elevators and hallways makes you not want to touch anything. Walls are also paper thin so you hear everything/get woken up (even with earplugs in). Worst hotel I have stayed at in years and I travel frequently, stay far away from this place and hotel manager.

The rooms are fantastic! And Ben at the front desk had service with a smile. I give it 5 thumbs up

Safe Space
We really appreciate hotel spaces that are safe and welcoming. We appreciate the staff being trailed to be inclusive.
We stayed in the jacuzzi room 719 at the end of the hall on the top floor, and it was a perfect spot for a little couples get away

It took me a couple minutes to figure out how to empty the tub you have to turn the metal drain above the plug and then pull the plug out with your fingers.
Look forward to seeing the hotel when the Reno’s are done

Always clean and the front desk staff are awesome. We usually run into Ben at the front desk and he always takes very good care of us. Thank you everyone.

Please don’t go there if you have any respiratory and skin illness as your asma, rhinitis or skink problems with get worst with the dust and cleaning of this place. I was move from one room to another in the second floor and believe me nothing change. The rooms were really dusty. I understand that they are under renovation but I expected at least the inside of my room to be clean for the amount of money that they are charging. The paint smell was also extremely uncomfortable.

Place was under renovation when I was there so the resto was closed. Bar open, was decent enough for a bar in a hotel.

Pool is solid but no hot tub which is weak.

Four Points is my go-to hotel chain but the location was a cut below the rest. This hotel is under renovations but presently is a bit run down and the restaurant/pub on site was not open. No mention of a pool when checking in.

I attended an event last Oct. 15th for my friends niece's18th birthday. The people who worked on that event was so unprofessional. The lady at the bar area I think her name was Sheran looks very unhappy and doesn't know how to talk to people.
They had a buffet service but no one was refilling the food! We asked one of them if they can refill it she said no, I don't know her reason she just turn her back on me. Next, all the guest didn't even get their food yet they close the chafing dish. Not letting the guests know they can still get food. Ohhh and the manager, came up to my friend telling her that the music was so loud (the thing is what kind of party doesn't play music? Hello? And it's only 730 the party wasn't started yet) all the workers there are so rude, they shouldn't work there if they don't know what a customer service is!
The night supposed to be a memorable fun night but it became a nightmare to everyone. And I feel bad for my friend and family they spend so much money but they never get the good service!

So guys never book your event to four point by Sheraton, South Edmonton you will never leave happy!

Last Saturday, October 15,2022, we attended a party in the Hall. And to my surprise, this Manager named Vanessa is complaining that the music was too loud. The food wAs okay but the servers does not even REFILL even though there was already a LONG line up. Its very disappointing that the servers were just standing there watching the people wait for food to be served.
Also, while eating the waiters were already standing behind us waiting to grab our plates and glasses even though we are not yet done. For me that was very rude.
Overall, the staffs were very RUDE. I dont like the service. I will never recommend this hotel/venue to any colleagues of mine.

Something must be wrong with the phones as I have called 20 times today and got through once and was told my receipt was going to be emailed to me but it was not. Not only that but the on hold message will play out and then hang up. Absolutely ridiculous. Will not be staying there again.

Beautiful rooms, with a gorgeous lobby! Amazing ambiance and such a wonderful gem in a super convenient location. Right off of Argyll they have the casino within walking distance as well as a convenience store/gas station open 24 hours. There are many options for fast food as well as restaurants all close by. Great staff, clean rooms, easy to get too with ample parking. A definite recommend the next time I have friends come to town!

The hotel was nice. A little lacking a few things due to the age, but overall very nice, still.
What I came to comment on was the pub.
The Duke of Argyll pub (inside the hotel) was absolutely amazing! The food was just SO good!
Genuinely, I ate the best burger I've ever had there. The carrot ginger soup was also incredible! I would come here again just for the food.
Back to the hotel, it's hard to say much other than "nice".
The lobby waterfall was beautiful!
The staff were efficient.
The beds were clean and.comfortable.
My main "complaint" was the lack of a view (we were literally staring out at the highway), which the hotel can't be faulted for.
There's also no smart technology, so I couldn't stream my laptop to the TV. No USB ports on the bedside table, either.
The gift shop was the worst part. They had no indigestion meds (I was hoping to get some Gaviscon), no fingernail supplies, no travel sewing kit. We also couldn't find a brochure for the hotel anywhere. With the pool hours and such.
But these are all such minor "issues", they don't drive me away from staying there at all. If you're looking for a place to bed down for the night, this hotel will do the trick just fine!

Great service from all employees we met. I have back pain - bed was very comfortable. The room is a generous size. Nice modern bathroom. The $10 buffet breakfast is well worth the price. We ate a couple of meals at the Argyll Pub and food was good. East 75 restaurant closed. Pool nice for a young family. Good exercise room that is open 24 hr.
Negative: not good soundproofing on doors, so hallway noisy when drunk people talk at 2am. Could hear people above us walking about. Street noise not too bad. Not a walking friendly area - it's industrial. AC fan noise acceptable. We would come here again.

Room was fine but amenities are quite dated. Working AC for the summer heat was great. The hotel needs a revamp.

A middle of the Road Sheraton Furniture and fixtures in the Room showed considerable wear and tear. Staff friendly but still short handed. Nice Beds, Pillows and sheets though.

Hours changed in 2020 when Covid started and you couldn't be bothered to update the Pub hours on your website two years later?

I did not stay here but stopped in for a beer or two. I was personally disgusted by the attitude of a server/ bartender that was working that day. She totally ignored a customer waiting to cash a VLT voucher. When she finally turned around and seen the waiting patron, she rudely barked at him. I CANNOT CASH THAT FOR YOU BECAUSE I'M NOT ON TILL! She then turned around & ignored him, but yet I seen her serving a birthday part that was going on in the pub.

We stay at this Four Points every time we're in Edmonton for our frequent business or personal trips.

It's an older hotel in an industrial area, but close to most services and major routes in the city.

While the rooms are a bit outdated and could use some upgrades, they are still clean and comfortable. The furniture shows some signs of wear and tear but serves its purpose. I appreciate the large desk and ample lighting in the rooms. Overall, the rooms suit our need for short, frequent, business trips quite well, for a very reasonable price. The service is also second to none and keeps us coming back. It is also a pet friendly hotel!

The hotel offers a hot buffet breakfast in the lounge area, which is basic but quite good for a quick bite. Depending on the room rate you book, you may also receive a complimentary buffet pass. There is a small 24-hour fitness room and pool, which are very convenient.

The Duke of Argyll pub is always a favourite - very friendly and inviting, with lots of seating, a pool table, darta and VLTs. It offers your typical pub fare, with outstanding service. Our standbys are the burgers, wings and nachos. The burgers are incredibly thick, juicy and very satisfying. Theh come on a poppyseed bun with delicious burger sauce, cheese, sauteed mushrooms and onions and fresh lettuce & tomato. The salad is always crispy and fresh with an italian-style vinaigrette and candied pecans.

The wings are incredibly fresh, juicy and oh-so-crispy. Always amazing with a cold beer after a long trip on the road.

Great budget hotel option!

Absolutely great experience. ALL the staff so very pleasant and accommodating. The beds were WONDERFUL! W ould recommend a trip to their pool, weight and exercise room ong with their steam room. A generally very quiet hotel. 5 stars.

Staff are lovely but hotel is tired looking on the exterior and condition of interior is poor. Fraying carpets in their deluxe rooms, peeling wall paper, no hot water to the jet tub, tub in bathroom didn't plug, extensive water damage to the ceiling, staining in tubs. Felt icky to be honest.

Bad experience at this hotel. There was a brown streak in the middle of the arm chair and my 1 year old was on it before we noticed the streak. Carpet was also dirty, would not recommend to stay. Also for the amount they charge, breakfast should be included.

Room was kinda dingy. Coffee supplies were very scant. Understanding that we were in a pet friendly room, I get it would not be "AAA" quality but I expected more for what we paid.

Been a long time since I visited last, Dukes pub is so good & should be back to full menu that is awesome, wing day again? My favorite day?

Here’s the menu because it is nowhere to be found online. Good pub grub. There’s vlts. Big screen to watch the game with lots of additional tvs. Pool table and dart board. Accommodating to big parties.

Room was clean pet friendly, however the key cards were consistantly needing reset twice a day most days except once 3 times. The quality of card is cheap as they went no where near a cell phone magnet or battery.

Used my debit card as the security deposit at the Thursday check in and still haven't been refunded. The day front desk attendant was rude and arrogant. Because of his attitude will never be back

This place is not bad, the staff is friendly and lobby is great with the fountain. I wish you would update your photos since my room was not at all what I thought I requested. I requested a one bedroom suite however there was no separate bedroom.to which the photos suggest. My big complaint was how musty/dusty with a hint of cigarette smoke the room smelled. Even the blankets smelled dusty. Could use a huge deep clean.

If you end up staying at this hotel I strongly suggest you dont forget anything there as you will might never get it back! The communication between the staff in this place really needs to improve!

Housekeeping decided it was okay to just walk into our room before 10 without knocking at all. Not okay! Very Noisy. Run down.

Fast check in, LOVELY Bed's, stream room. They were very accommodating, as we were taking my elderly mother to the hospital. Requested main floor, and they did.

Was there to vote early for the Federal Election. Main lobby was large, well decorated and very clean. Impressive considering the amount of people coming in to vote. Well organized in a relaxed but orderly fashion.

A nice place good services available. Also a comfortable bed to sleep on. TV service it's ok, but does not do good if you have to stay long periods of time.

The hotel is older and as such isn't really set up well for those of us who travel and require increased electrical outlets. I will say however that they are trying to get there but they really could use a complete rewire of the rooms.

That being said, the room was impeccably clean and the bed was comfortable.

Run down and noisy. A group of us stayed for one night, with two rooms in total. One of the rooms wasn’t ready at check in time (3pm) which was annoying but not a huge deal. The room that was ready, was in awful condition - dated, worn furniture, squeaky beds, loads of scuffs and marks everywhere, and this embarrassing chair… why bother even supplying a chair if it looks like this? Later that evening, we checked in to the second room and found the fridge was broken, with a wet towel inside and soaking wet carpet surrounding it. Front desk didn’t mention this, it would have been nice to have a warning or apologies for it. But it gets worse… at 7am there was a shirtless child running through the hallway screaming, screeching and slamming doors. Not the hotels fault but the way they didn’t really deal with it was annoying. We called the front desk to let them know and they said they would check it out. Cut to 15 mins later and the kid is still making a racket, so we called again and this time the front desk claimed to have not heard anything. A lady from the front desk reluctantly offered to help after we pushed back, but we heard this annoying noise for the rest of the morning until the family left. There was no hot water at 7am either, but this seemed to have fixed itself later in the morning. We’ve stayed at 8 different hotels in Western Canada in the last two weeks, many of them Marriott properties, and this is by far the worst… all of the basics are just so poorly executed. A hotel where you can’t sleep, shower, chill your drinks or sit on a chair without feeling like it might give you an infection.

Was there for a work trip, so just one night. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, room was quiet and very comfortable.

Booked a hotel for one of my workers, made it clear on the phone at the time of call. My worker showed up and they would not let him stay. He had to sleep in his truck. Will not be using any of these hotels or this chain ever again

Accommodating staff. Not perfect but understand the level of accommodations you're going for here- this isn't the St Regis or Fairmont. But it's got clean rooms and a place to rest your head!

The room service was good, the entrance doors of the hotel are locked late at night and you have to knock on it in order somebody sees you and unlock it, there is cigarettes smell comes every morning from the vent of our washroom and I found a previous burn of a cigarette in the bathtub curtain. We had to turn the vent on for 30 mins to push it away. This is weird because we requested a non smoking room.there is no manager in the lobby to follow up with any conflicts, just an Asian employee who gave us the business card of the manager with wrong email address printed on it (misleading information).
She doesn’t know how to calculate the nights and charged us twice for the last night. We had the receipt and divided the fees by the 6 days to show her she was wrong but she insisted that she is smart and correct and said ”maybe it’s a previous charge from last month”. Also she wanted us to send our complain to guest services email address which was accessible to her.
When you get out right from the doors of the hotel you smell smoke of cigarettes and Marijuana which was terrible smell for the kids.

The hotel is old but the friendly and helpful Front Desk and the cleanliness of this hotel. I will definitely be booking a room again in the future!

Excellent personable front facing staff. Very clean with professional management. One chair in our room needed to be reupholstered but an awesome experience all in all.

Staff is friendly and the hotel was very clean. I would stay here again! Definitely recommend. The 4 stars is due to payment issues. Other than that it a was a great stay.

Rather disappointed that they will only accept a major credit card as payment method. Regardless of booking online via Bookings.com especially since we are in a pandemic.

Hotel was nice, bed was comfy. Only draw back was the water temperature, as it took 20 mins of running the water, and the maintenance fella going two floors down and running the water there too, that finally got the hot water running to our suite. If we hadn't rented the jacuzzi suite, it wouldn't have been such a big deal but being as we'd planned around it, it was disappointing. The cold shower in the morning when we didn't have so much time to run it, was a bummer too!

Wonderful room, wonderful service. Great live music in the little pub attached. Bed was so comfy. Definitely no complaints.

Visited on St. Paddy's day. Enjoyed the entertainment and drink specials. Ordered beef dip which was okay but nothing to write home about, quite pricey for beef dip with no sides.

My family has stayed at this property on several occasions and it has always been wonderful! The staff are helpful and take exceptional care of us.

The breakfast buffet is fresh, stocked with something for everyone and the ladies are great with our small kids.

Our room is always clean and comfortable. I appreciate the additional security features like having to scan your room card to gain access to the guest elevators and rooms.

My only complaint is that there can be difficulty finding parking in the evenings (there only seems to be two accessible parking spaces, but one is poorly marked and frequently it is used by people without a placard displayed).

Jeff at the desk is fantastic and Nadine in the pub is easily one of the best people in the universe. I hope the people who manage this place know what they have in these two SUPER STARS!

Better than expected for the price. Was just over $100 when the city was full. A little out of the way from downtown about 15 minutes.

Security is poor, the night somebody tried to break in to our truck, nobody was there to look at what was damaged or nobody even talked to my husband. Even the receptionist that night was rude. Nobody was checking there security cameras because I still have to tell to the General Manager what happened and what was damaged on the truck the following day. The General Manger just said "unfortunately there's nothing we can do". I wasn't informed or see any sign saying "they're not responsible of anything regarding your belongings/vehicle stolen/damaged because even the General Manager don't know where's there sign saying "they're not responsible of anything regarding your belongings/vehicle get stolen/damaged. When I asked her where's the sign, we walked to the parking lot and she herself tried to look for it. The sign was put on the outside wall of the entrance, where you can't really see unless you smoke/standby on the side outside the building. The General manager said that it's common, then they should have done something/upgraded their security then none of this would've happened or it would have been prevented if there was somebody patrolling the parking lot (like the one in Red Deer) watching security cameras that night. We left the hotel with frustration. Never going back to this hotel. By the way, some of the receptionist nightshift are rude, I wasn't feel welcomed.

Exceptional service as always. Jen in the lounge is the most efficient and friendly service I have ever witnessed. Front end staff are super accommodating. The cleaners do a perfect job and are absolutely amazing! We always thoroughly enjoy our stay. Pub food was fantastic as was our full breakfast in the restaurant they even gave us take away containers for extra fruit and such! Mmmm and the delicious bath robes!

Very nice restaurant. It was my first time having dinner there. I ordered the steak sandwich and it was cooked to perfection. Reasonably priced and delicious. I'll be visiting here again.

Just loved it. Great stay. Enjoyed the pool. Worth for the price. Only draw back is no breakfast included but they have restaurant pub for food inhouse which is a huge advantage.

Always enjoy the conference rooms next to the giant waterfall. The pub had great food and service as well. Calamari to start was honestly the best I've ever had.

Hotel is basic but clean. Breakfast is so so but included for free for platinum guests. Restaurant attached is very good. Gym is great. Everything is clean.

I love this hotel, we have stayed here 3 times and the front desk staff is so awesome as well as the dining room staff and housekeeping.the beds are so comfortable that I wish I could take one home:) thank you for always making our stay so enjoyable.

We have been coming to this hotel almost monthly for the past year and it’s truly become our home in Edmonton.

The staff greet us like family and treat our toddlers like celebrities. We were even given pool noodles to keep after visiting the pool.

We have taken advantage of almost every amenity and service offered by the property - with not a single complaint.

I would recommend this hotel to any and everyone!

After 2 flights today and many km on the road. I was greeted with a welcome card and a treat bag in my room. This small gesture warms my heart. I will stay at this hotel for all my business trips going forward as long as the management does not change. My previous visit was good and reviewed 4 stars and this put you well over the top. Thank you.

My company had our Christmas luncheon in the conference rooms in the basement. The buffet food was acceptable. The service was excellent though, they changed out the food trays before they even ran out and took empty plates away quickly.

Clean room. But no included breakfast. Tv was incompatible with Chromecast. Toilet paper was super thin. Could hear people talking from other rooms all night.

Stayed for one night and Jeff and Nickie were awesome. All the things they did made our stay perfect. Pool was nice and clean and our room was very nice also. Will be back for sure!

It's ok, but the rooms are dated. Lots of parking and there's a Ford dealer next door if you need a new truck.

OK hotel. Common areas updated, but the rooms need to be updated as my room looked like it was out of the 70's. Wings are 1/2 price on Thursdays at the Argyll Pub and their well worth it!

Room was very clean, loved the king size bed. Breakfast was good, bar service was excellent so was the entertainment!

The hotel is spaced out somewhat oddly, but the breakfast was impeccable and the bed clean and comfortable. You don't immediately get the vobe they take shortcuts and I have enjoyed my stay thusfar

Location was fantastic! Staff was hospitable to everyone at the conference and were always super cheerful!
