In our recent search for vehicles we came across a team of Freedom Ford which appeared to be a very unique & we have learned that some Auto Dealers still have greater level of ethics than people usually perceived them to have, & Freedom Ford has proved to be one such dealership. Myself (as a customer) & the sales team maintained a decent level of transparency of information & expectations since the start of negotiations, both sides kept going back & forth on the terms & conditions, but finally we ended up with a win win situation for the both sides. The dealership management (Amit Singh & Neil Slater), Sales (David Gniazdowsky, Lawrence Alugaili) & Finance (Rod Silva) all directly assisted me in reaching a spectacular deal, the person who stands out is Sales Person Tarun Mander who helped me from the very beginning to the end. The Ford Freedom team took lot of heat from me throughout during the negotiations but kept their calm, handled me delicately as a customer & provided a customer service that anyone can wish for, I am so grateful to the Ford Freedom team for everything they have done & will continue to do in several years to come. I will recommend the Ford Freedom dealership to any one who is looking for a dealership which can offer exceptional dealership experience & transparency through the purchasing process. The manager will lie straight to your face and not fix it.
They did a box liner for the new truck. I purchased and damaged the wiring harness and refuse to fix it.
I was there yesterday. They just basically plugged the camera feedback in and limped the damage connector along what piss poor service.
Now got damaged from the Ford tech that move the truck inside to look at.

Bought a car from them about a week and a half ago, and we love it! I think it was priced well and I’m very happy with the purchase! We bought it sort of last minute though and so they didn’t detail it until a few days after we already had the car, the only issue is that I don’t think it was cleaned that well. There are still some stains and pet hairs from the previous owner, so that’s where they lost a star. Other than that I have no issues, they provided great service and Madelyn was wonderful to speak to!

I called up this dealership just to see what they could do for me about getting me in to a new truck.

I call in actually thinking I was going to be turned down again, because a few months earlier dodge dealership turned me down.

I talked to a guy named Ozzy and he was the best person to deal with easy to talk to everything I told him he said let me work on it and he did just that until I was completely satisfied with what I wanted.

Ozzy is the best person to deal with good attitude pays attention and works very hard honestly goes above and beyond, Same with Justin in financial services amazing guy to deal with

We have just purchased car #3 from Freedom Ford, it was not easy to find the car we wanted during the covid pandemic and extreme lack of inventory throughout North America but the team at Freedom (Tony, Alan, Ciprian & Corban) worked hard to first find a car and then take care of us through the entire process. There were a number of issues throughout the process but Freedom came through and made sure my wife and I were taken care of. Outstanding customer care and a pleasure to work with. I look forward to the next.

I recommend James Shaul to everyone I know who has any interest in buying a car; attentive, compassionate to your needs, does not oversell, and cares for your business. Trustworthy.yep, I said it. I will continue to deal with James even if I have to drive across town to get there.

Love this place not only because of the great service, but seems to be one of the few places in town where sales people actually want your business. I will not specify which fords or the other competitors I went to, but everywhere else I went each time I showed up to a dealer, sales people were almost reluctant to even approach or showed no interest in wanting to talk or show me around the place and find out what I was looking for, with freedom ford I didn’t even step foot in the place, I only showed interest on their website before someone reached out who didn’t care if I was some young kid looking for something small and cheap or some oil patch guy looking to spend near 100 k, this person was willing to spend time with me and show me some of the options they had available and try to narrow down exactly what would meet my needs and budget. Needles to say, I ended up buying a vehicle, regardless of other options, I have freedom ford to thank for that. If you are planning ongoing to Freedom Ford, please go see guy Sully Khan. I’m sure there are more great sales people but sully will do anything in his power to get you a great deal. Side note Rod from finance was also great, super kind and very informative, showed me stuff in my credit report that I didn’t know about.

If you're shopping for a Ford, and you're not shopping here, you are 100% at the wrong place.

Jon Gold is a straightforward sales person who truely cares about his clients. He is responsive, and super personable. The 2018 F-150 he found me is a beautiful truck, he even pointed me in the right direction to sell one of my other vehicles instead of wasting anytime on low balling (it was a specialty vehicle with a super niche market, not dealership friendly).

Vinny in finance made some magic happen and we couldn't have done it without him, or Jon.

Thanks so much to the whole team at Freedom that sourced my truck, reconditioned it, and got it into my hands.

Purchased our 2021 F-150 here and at first everything was awesome. Being it was a used truck one of the items promised was a replacement windshield. After 4 attempts and 4 promises to be told a Janice would call me to book an appointment the only thing that happened was Janice called alright but to tell me my 2005 Ford focus (winter beater) needed a service. I’m a licensed mechanic and do these on my own so no need I said. When I said I was surprised and that I thought she was calling to book an appointment for my windshield, she said “no that must be another Janice”. I bought this truck over 6 months ago.
Very disappointed Freedom, not cool. I don’t like to call out names of people I’ve dealt with so I won’t but you know who you are.

I was looking for a 2021 Ford F150 with a specific package and features. I came across the one I wanted on the Freedom Ford website. I was contacted by Connor after giving some info in my searches. Connor was easy to talk with asking what I was looking for and if I wanted to test the truck. He was far from pushy, he sent me a walk around video of the truck later that day. We set up an appointment and once we arrived Connor was there to greet us. He had the truck ready and took us through an in depth walk around and explanation of all the features. We took it for a test drive, it felt great and once we got back Connor simply asked "is this the one you want to buy or do you want to keep looking? " There was never a feel of pressure and during negotiations he didn't try shoving extras down our throats. Once we said no to certain packages and warranties he moved on without force. We agreed on a price that we felt we both won on and now I'm a happy owner of a new truck. I've dealt with many car salesman and always dread the process, but Connor was one of the very few who made vehicle purchasing enjoyable, easy and kept me in the loop with what was going on with my vehicle after purchase. Connor is not the only person though who made it a great experience, the many faces we met at Freedom Ford were great as well and my future business will be taken back there because of that. Thank you Connor and the rest of the staff at Freedom Ford.

I will not recommend this service department to anyone I know.

I purchased a 2019 Ford Edge brand new in the summer of 2019. Shortly after I took it in for an oil change. While waiting for my vehicle from being serviced I was approached by a service aid who let me know my brand new vehicle had a transmission problem. Okay sometimes it happens with new vehicles.

While my vehicle was having the transmission replaced (over 3 weeks) I was told the mechanic was having “problems” fitting the transmission back into my vehicle. I had to call numerous times to find out the status of the vehicle.

I finally received my vehicle back. I drove it home and the next day my spouse noticed fluid under my vehicle which was transmission fluid. I called the service department at Freedom Ford and was advised to bring it in. I was told this time that the mechanic overfilled the transmission fluid and had drained it to prevent more leaking.

Figuring that my vehicle was now fixed I drove with my family to Calgary on a trip. Once I arrived in Calgary I noticed more fluid all over my drivers side tire. I called freedom Ford from Calgary and they did not have much of a resolve. Finally someone figured out to send me to the sister dealership in Calgary. McLaghlan Ford advised me the next day (they were great and got me in right away) that it was okay to travel to Edmonton but to go directly to Freedom Ford.

As I left Calgary I called Freedom Ford and discussed what had happened. On my way through the city, with my family, I had to stop at Freedom Ford and drop off my vehicle yet again. I was given yet another rental while my vehicle was in the shop.

I was contacted by Freedom Ford saying my vehicle was ready again. I was on my way to pick it up right near the time they were closing as I had to pick it up after working all day. As I returned the rental and made it over to finally get my own vehicle I went to get the keys and paperwork. I was finally able to go to my car to go home. Not this time either. As I approached my vehicle I noticed that my drivers window was wide open probably left open by whomever parked it. Well the inside drivers door and seat were completely soaked as it had rained really hard prior to my arrival.

As a resolve to all this run around and frustration they kept my vehicle again to clean and dry the drivers seat. I was contacted I believe by the service manager to talk about the issues that had occurred and what resolve would be put in place to compensate all my time and vehicle issues.

I was told I would be given a credit of around $250 to use for parts or other repairs. I was also told that I would have a detailing placed, for free, on my file.

Today November the 08th/2021 I returned to have my oil changed. I was asked if I wanted the normal extra service done. I inquired about my credit as well as the detailing. I was informed the credit had a expiry attached to it that I was never told about. Today I was still not told when it would expiry. I also asked about the detailing and was told I used the free “inside” detailing when my window was left open by their staff and that I no longer had it.

I do not have much faith in this dealership. It seems that communication and customer satisfaction are not a priority at least it feels that in my case. Looking at all the other low reviews that I could see it seems they only respond or thank the ones that leave good reviews as well.

This review is about my recent experience. They did a great job looking after what is covered with my vehicle warranty and what is not. The job got done but the only thing is its hit or miss with staff as well as the being "on time" part. You get to have good agents that does exceptional and above customer needs but there are maybe 1 or 2 who just showed up, as for the being on time part we all have busy lives the least a dealership services could do is to be present.
Overall I'd still see them but not expect much on their staff and punctuality.

Trevor was my salesman and he was terrible. When I showed up for my scheduled appointment, he had no idea who I was or what I wanted. He was disinterested the entire time and then left after 15 minutes without even transferring any information onto the guy he had replace him so we had to restart the whole process. Then later that night, I got an email from him with no content and the subject read “sorry I missed you. ” You didn’t miss me, I arrived on time, you were just bad at your job.

Worst experience I’ve ever had purchasing a vehicle. After a mechanical failure not even 1 month after buying a vehicle, the staff at this dealership was awful to deal with. Management refused to answer texts/calls for days at a time. Sales management was rude and aggressive. I would never recommend this dealership for anyone to buy a vehicle from.

We had an agreement that i signup with them, and order my truck, waited 3 months for it, now it comes to go finance the truck and pick it up, and the dealer goes back on their deal and raises the price by 4k. Worst dealer ship ever.avoid at all cost. The service was abysmal as well, no communication what so ever.this was the worst experience of my life.

My fiancé and I were in a car accident and unfortunately totalled one of our vehicles. We went to Freedom Ford in hopes of finding a new vehicle and had Thomas Harvey as our sales representative. Thomas was great, he listened to what we wanted and needed in a vehicle, showed us different options and found one that was perfect for us. The finance process was a breeze. Both Thomas (sales) and Seth (finance) were very thorough with explaining where are money was going and how the contract would go. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend.

I was in edmonton, just happened to stay beside freedom ford. I worked with a fellow named Momodu. He was super patient with me in trying to figure out my needs and wants. We test drove trucks, listened to different stereos, talked about babies. At the end of the day I made an offer, but the top dogs there wouldn't budge much on the price. It made more sense for me to custom order at that point. I enjoyed working with Momodu and the rest of the team was very helpful. Very good experience regardless of not leaving with a truck that day.

BEWARE - not an ethical dealership.
I’m not a customer, and never will be now. A friend of mine just got screwed by this dealership. He ordered a new F150 in April 2021, and had a signed contract. They called last week to let him know the truck was arriving, when he went to pick it up they told him that they wanted $4000 more than his contract. He refused, so they told him to walk, that they could sell it for $8000 more than his deal.

All in all it was great dealing with Dean. That said I did get the vehicle home and noticed 2 good size dents in the hood and one on the roof. Furthermore more one little dent behind the passenger side front wheel. However this is a used vehicle and the price and Kms was right.

On the day of service I was greeted warmly by the service advisor Debbie who looked after the whole thing very professionally and efficiently.

I have recently purchased a new Ford Lariat from Freedom Ford and I could not have asked for a better purchase experience, Ali Sahly was my salesman and he was amazing! He was attentive, considerate, friendly, honest and very accommodating, he was patient with me and was more than willing to take the time it took to explain different vehicles and options as well as sending me pictures, they made the financing process easy and they are more than willing to help you with that as well. My whole experience with Freedom Ford and Ali is definitely worth a rating of at least a 10+, I will continue to purchase my vehicles there for as long as I am driving. WELL DONE FREEDOM FORD!

We bought a 2009 Dodge Journey from this Dealer with full confidence that they would tell us the truth about the vehicle, and we lost the front wheel in 190 kilometres away, tires we’re not matching, and the transfer case blow out a week later, we tried to get at least somebody from Freedom Ford to give us a different opinion on it but nothing, at least we didn’t have and Accident or we could think of the worst, the best thing to do is to treat others as you want to be treated!

Would not recommend this place to anyone.
1. After you purchase the vehicle it’s extremely hard to get in contact with sales person or finance. Called many times and was told they’re busy and will be called back. Happened hours later or not at all which I had to call again.
2. Took their time in paying off my trade in so I was changed by bank.
3. After I bought the car it was not detailed and the gas was not filled (which I had to do when I bought it). The following day I was contacted being told that next time I was on the area they will do it for me. Brought it in a week or so later and was then sent away because I had to book appointment. After I did that and had it “cleaned” noticed dirt still on the inside of my door and could barely see out of my side mirror from not being wiped.
4. Almost two weeks after I bought it I finally got the check for my winter tire (which didn’t fully cover the cost even I bought the exact tires they sought out at the exact place they said). After I changed my tires Costco told me that they are not able to put on my all seasons again because they are all worn out on the inside.

Needless to say after all this headache a month later still with a message on my dash with a messed up sensor and am having to run a diagnostic on it. It is 100% not worth going here!

They were nice at first when they fix the crack windshield and they said that they would fix the scratches on the car but they couldn’t fix a scratch on my door because it was too deep and wrote a Promise contract that they would try to remove it, so they called some other company to try but they couldn’t fix it ether and said that it would have to be repainted, so now l not happy and I will trie to live with the scratch on the car. Maybe Next time When I buy a car, I’ll with a different car dealer and go with my gut feeling of which car dealer I go with that cares. This is a learning experience that is disappointment and some day I will find a good car dealer out there.

I went through a dealership because I didn't know much about the kind of vehicle I wanted to buy. I knew what features I wanted but nothing about the vehicle itself. As soon as I sat down with Eric he asked me what I was looking for and what features I wanted with the vehicle. He was a great dude, able to help me out, answer all my questions and got me exactly what I wanted plus more. I am able to keep in contact if I have problems or anything, which is not something you get from a private sale. I now have myself an awesome little 2009 Ford escape which I am very happy with. And Yeah, I will be going back when I'm looking to upgrade or any other questions I have, I'm quite pleased with the service at Freedom Ford.

Started a year ago when the service department charged 89.95 to tighten five lugs on my front tire, after telling me a previous ford dealership had done a poor job. I will admit they did try to make an effort to make up that egregious charge and convinced me to give them another chance. Unfortunately I took my vehicle in for a service and tecall work only to have them not put the trim back thus leving wires exposed, and the best part was I found the piece jammed under my front seat. I personally could never recommend this dealer to anyone.

I was delightfully impressed with the pre owned sales team at Freedom Ford. Mark Yaghi, the salesman, was who I dealt with the most and not once did I feel pressured or forced to agree to anything I wasn’t comfortable with. Well versed in F150s and helped pick out the truck I eventually bought. Jeff K.the manager was tremendous as well and again made sure everything was going smoothly and nothing was forced. I’m very much looking forward to doing business with these too again in the future. Meeting with Owen B.in finance was wonderful as well. Painless and easy going. Great people skills all around and I feel like I could call any of these guys and hang out if I wanted.
Cannot recommnend this place enough. 5/5.

Not the most shining review I've written of a place, but in truth it is what it is. If you are a female going in here alone for car services, please understand that they will try to take advantage of you. I have had three different dealings with this dealership after friends and family that are female have experienced rip-off services.

When confronted with these situations they automatically put up the ignorance card and at that point try to just make you go away.

Even dealing with the dealership as a business, with business vehicles, and personal situations they are not always the most upfront or professional about things.

Personal take away from this review. If you wish to believe that the Ford dealerships are your best option, feel free to visit. But please understand this is not the case with this particular dealership / service center.

Not recommended at all to this dealership. Dishonest Sales people cooperated with finance department. We gave them our personal info with good faith for specific CADILLAC CTS Car and we got a call financing approved, paper work finish and been told to pickup the car. No one believe it the big boss of sales manager and finance came to the table with FORD FUSION key to take.this is a DAY LIGHT CHEATING AND LIE. I don't think cheating is a part of sales profession. Contacted to General Manager immediately I got call next day.it hurts so much repeated again recommending buying the Ford. The worst dealership in Edmonton. Stay away from Freedom Ford dealership or make at least put extra attention before you give person information.

Sorry but I need to vent. The service here has been pretty decent over the years. But it's been slipping. And today was a hard slide for them.
I scheduled for an oil change (seeing as I foolishly bought a service package when I bought my 2017 F150. I did get it well below asking price thankfully) and a factory recall (seatbelt retractors are causing fires. What?) Anyway the schedule guy books me in for Wednesday. 7: 15am. He says be early and you'll be in the shuttle heading to your office by 7: 30. At your desk by 8am. And they will need my truck for 3hrs max. Easy job. Well, it took 10hrs!
Customer checkin was over booked and backed up. Shuttle was over booked and unable to leave until well after 8. I was the last stop. At my desk for 9: 05am. Ok, things happen. But the snowball kept growing.
They called at 2: 30 from the service department to say they were overbooked from the start and my truck wouldn't be ready until 5: 30. But the shuttle van was on a milk run for people and had to pick me up from the office at 3: 45. And it did. Back to Freedom Ford at 4: 30 where they told me my truck would be ready on time. What? I was told 3hrs!
These guys are usually overbooked. But you dont know how badly until a couple early jobs take longer than expected and then everyone suffers.
Lesson confirmed, only use the dealer for warranty. You have really no other choice. Otherwise, find a mechanic you can trust and will look after you and your vehicle for life. Like Bettchers Auto. Marty is great. Try him out.
Freedom Ford is all about the dollars. Ya, I know it's a business but the Service Departments monthly $ Intake desires are clearly interfering with customer service.
So if you dont want to feel like you've spent too much on a vehicle.source out a different dealership.and find your new favorite mechanic.

Right from the moment I walked in the door I was more than impressed by my first time visit at Freedom Ford. The representatives were knowledgable, helpful and incredibly pleasant throughout my entire experience. They had really set themselves apart from other dealerships that I have dealt with in the past. I can not emphasize enough how excellent my experience was. Clarence was just a pleasure to be around in helping me with my initial coming into the dealership. Francis was an incredibly friendly salesman who definitely is a master of his craft when it came down to helping me find a vehicle that I ended up more than happy with.and Scott Miranda who oversaw everything was adamant about making sure I was well taken care of and showed such genuine care throughout my entire experience. I couldn't help but feel overjoyed and utterly grateful to them. Thank you so much for everything and I am happy that I get to continue my business with Freedom Ford!

They will lead you on that your rear window defrost is covered by your extended warranty only to tell you that it's $190 to tell you that your extended warranty doesn't cover anything electrical or notoriously defective parts that were never recalled because too expensive to replace everybody's windows with new $2000 defective windows and module parts that will only fail again in 3yrs because Ford never revised the defective rear window defrost in it's F150's.this is what they tried to sell me like I was a complete fool with no responsible regard for my finances.and insisted on 190$ diagnostic fee after leading me on it was a good chance it was warranty when in actual reality (My Pocket) 99% of the time it is electrical problem and I wasn't covered for electrical with my extended warranty.but they tell me all that after they got me for $190. Very desperate times at Freedom Ford.the Lady Cory Slute that served me last time would've told me straight up not to bother because this is the situation.but she's not there anymore got voted off the island in the desparate times and now it's the daughter of the owner desperate for people's $190 and trying to sell me a $2000 same new defective fix. IM MAKING A PLYWOOD SIGN FOR MY FRONT AND BACK AND IM GOING TO WALK BACK AND FORTH ON THE SIDEWALK IN FRONT OF THIS PLACE TO WARN OTHERS ABOUT THE DESPERATE TIMES BECAUSE IM A LAID OFF OIL AND GAS WORKER AND I HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO!

I am a first time buyer and was looking for a used car.and Mark R in Used was absolutely amazing! On our first visit there was nothing that interested me completely, so we started looking at a new Ford Focus that was a little out of my price range. Mark assured me he would continue looking for any used cars within my budget and that is exactly what he did! I got a used Ford Focus that is perfect to have as my first car, it is within my budget and beyond what I could hope for!

I am writing this review on behalf of my grandmother who recently bought a 2015 ford flex. Mark was very thorough and explained everything very clearly to my grandmother. Not only did he seem genuinely kind and sweet but him and another co worker went out of their way to make sure my grandmother had a comfortable affordable rate on the vehicle. It was a couple hours of number crunching but they made it work for her. We had nothing but amazing service from all the employees we encountered. She is truly satisfied and recommends freedom ford.

Freedom Ford can make your dreams come true. I wanted to buy a custom truck (F-150) with some specific options that I need for my work. I live in Vancouver and tried few dealers here, but was not able to find the exact match. Then I tried with Rick Lacon at Freedom Ford over the phone, who helped me find the Truck exactly that I need and added few things on top in the same price. He actually made it cheaper to buy it in Edmonton than Vancouver. Rick is very professional and is capable to find the best match that you need. He is very generous and easy to deal with and helped in every fashion to get the most for my money spent. I would highly recommend Rick if you are purchasing a new Ford vehicle. You don't have to wait days or weeks to find what you need at the right price. On top of that Lornel at human resource dept is gem of a person, the best customer service I have ever experienced in a corporate sector. Thanks guys.you are awesome.

Amazing experience. Mike and Corbin were dialed in and very much down to earth-a rare breed when dealing with sales! Walked away smiling and still am. Would highly recommend!
