The employees working at sunridge location are totally unprofessional and didn’t know how to respond if they have made a mistake. I went to the store with my friend because one of the staff members sold her a phone by telling her wrong plans and the other staff member Austin acted as if he is the owner of the store and told that nobody at the store can help my friend now. She have to pay for whatever she is going to be charged for next 2 years because of the mistake that sales person made. The company should be ashamed of hiring these kind of unprofessional, rude, terrible and unhelpful associates at their store. I can say this was the worst experience I ever had since i have been in Canada. Nobody cares of the needs of the customer at this location. If you asks me about recommendations its a big big No. I definitely believe that the negative reviews are really true.

I am giving this one star as I didn’t had options to give zero star. The staff member at sunridge store are not at all helpful and are not aware of plans going on in the stores. I bought a phone on a plane for $55 ($0/month for iPhone 12) and The staff member name Grace made a mistake that day and now she made me pay extra for her mistake. The staff member working at the store doesn’t wanna work just asking their customers to call customer care if they can do something. She didn’t told me that she made a mistake she just told me that some of the promotions are suspended now she can’t do anything. I really can’t understand if there is promotion on new phone how can you say that promotion was on bring your own phone. The staff member Austin was the one who was really rude and doesn’t wanted to help at all. When i asked him that can i talk to your manager he just made an excuse and said manager is not coming to the store for personal reasons and you won’t be able to get hold of her.

Came into the store with my friend as she wanted to get a new phone. The staff was amazing, friendly and knowledgeable. I do not support the bad reviews about this store location. It isn't the staffs fault when things are not in there control for example when you fail the credit check. People get a life.they don't have some magical button they can press to accommodate your needs but they try their best. We first hand witnessed someone who wanted to act privileged towards them and I honestly think the bad reviews are not true after that. Don't bother listening to them

Staff are extremely unhelpful and rude. Compared to other Freedom locations, the staff here are horrendous. I have been a member of Freedom for over 5 years and have no experienced such a level of customer dissatisfaction. Visit a different location if possible

I've been a Freedom customer for over 10 years back when they were still wind mobile. I went in to the Sunridge location to see what they could do around my plan as part of a loyalty upgrade since I've been with them for so long. At this time they had a monthly plan available for $40/month for 15gb but the sales associate advised me to call the freedom support line as the loyalty department would likely be able to offer me a better promotion. After about 30 minutes of being transferred between departments and being disconnected I finally got a hold of the "loyalty" department who offered me "promotional" offers that were significantly worse then what they had going on as a regular offer in store. Good to know that even after ten years of loyal service they will still take any chance they get to rip you off.

I went there on Friday evening, Austin was helping me with the whole process from the beginning till finished. Great service and really knowledgeable, the rest of the staff were really friendly also.

Extremely rude staff, I am very disappointed about how I was treated by the assistant Manager Nora. She was extremely unprofessional and extremely rude.
The reason why I visited this store was only to switch my number to a cheaper plan, but unfortunately Austin the customer service associate noticed that we were not activating a new line, he quickly tried to get rid of us. I asked to speak to his manager since he was not very friendly, he went to the back a brought Nora the assistant manager who was very unprofessional and told us to leave the store.
I am shocked because I was with my son and I never expected to be treated like second class customer, specially that I have been a customer for 4 years paying the highest plan rate.
I will say avoid this store and go next door Best Buy mobile.

Went in looking to upgrade my Samsung Note10 Plus. Store was not busy and was greeted by Austin and his colleague. He was very informative, gave me the best options of which to choose from. He took the time to calculate what I would be paying for each upgrade and showed me what each phone offered in regards to features.

He was very patient and kind. I was able to get an upgrade and ended up paying less each month from my current device. He did not push for the most expensive device, which I fully appreciate.

If you ever need help, Austin is your guy. Definitely will be sending my family and friends to work with him directly. I highly recommend seeing him if you ever need help.

Always feel presured to upgrade my plan. Even when I tell then I still want the plan i have they keep telling me I need to as that plan is not exsistant anymore. Yes the plan is still exsistant as I still have it.

I went into sunridge when out of the blue me phone was not working.i ended up speaking with sabiha the manager who ended up replacing my sim and giving me some promo from freedom for my data.she was very pleasant easy to work with.after reading the reviews i would think that some of these ppl attack some of the staff and are just rude.i think the staff were very nice and helpful.i think everyone should treat ppl the way you want to be treated

Worst customer service. Stay away from this store. I tried to return a phone within my first week trial and got kicked out by these people with a reason that they don't want to waste their time help customer return the phone and told me to sell it on kijiji. When they sell you the phone, they will tell that you have 15 days trial. Seriously, is this how Freedom mobile treat their loyal customer. Go try other wireless provider instead.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE. IF YOU ARE UNLUCKY TO GO HERE PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH THE UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGER WITH THE NOSE RING.

I went here and dealt with the store manager personally- my luck I guess. I asked one too many questions (I was looking for several lines) She is rude and disrespecting. Yelling at customers and staff for no reason.

Terrible experience with them, they are so rude and exactly as the other people mentioned in their reviews, the management doesn't care about their clients. I got a phone through them and had to get it fixed twice, when it happened third time again, I went there to ask them to exchange the phone as it was still under warranty or to come up with the best solution. Regardless helping us the guy started threatening us that if we won't agree what he says he is gonna call security, he called security on us for no reason as we were trying to explain them our situation but they were not ready to listen and yes even their manager was there but she didn't bother to see what's happening in her store. That was the worst experience we can ever have.

Absolutely Rude Manager, i think her name is Sabiha. My family and i have been long time customers of Freedom and this is the first time that i have experienced this level of customer dissatisfaction. When presented with my problem, the manager treated me so badly, was so unprofessional, did not address my problem and went in her back office and left me there in the middle of the me being served. One of her employees tried to handle things and was of no help as well. This was so disappointing and left me so sad because the top up promised us was a Christmas gift to my daughter. Horrible, horrible, horrible i do not wish to experience this again. I definitely would not recommend this outlet of Freedom to anyone.

Had a great experience with the staff at Sunridge mall store. They took there time to explain stuff to the customers and answered questions. I was greeted and told they will be right with me. I watched everyone work well together. I noticed the store manager was engaged well with her staff and help out whenever she could. I left the store with a new phone and I have had no issues for the last month. Thank you Freedom new phone and great price. Keep up the great work

Signed up for a pay as you go plan, asked the girl if they cover everywhere as i live in cochrane & have family in the yukon.she said they cover nationwide.so far from the truth as i was on the phone everyday almost with freedom because i couldnt connect to data (my plan has 19gb data) then couldnt even make a call (from cochrane). One lady tried to get me buy more data, umm no thanks why would i when i havent even been able to any i already paid for.finally yesterday (2wks;after signing up with them) a guy from the kiosk at sunridge where i signed up told me im not getting any service out in cochrane because they do NOT cover here.as well as the girl who sold me the plan shouldnt have because they all know theres no coverage here, out of my plan with 19gb i only can use 1gb in cochrane the other 18 i can use in the city (calgary). I only get 1 gb out here because they pay bell to bounce off there tower because they dont have one here.so that was a total waste of $$90.00 for a plan with 19gb n unlimited talk/text.i knew i should have went with CHATTER because at least i know they work out here.also it was mentioned by a freedom employee that i could always go sign up with another provider that does cover cochrane, its what i should have done and i replied i sure will right when i get a refund because wasting $90.00 on a plan that isnt even useable (no i dont gobto calgary daily.as well as not going to go there just to be able to use my phone &data) i should be able to use it everywhere like i was told by a freedom employee.well i was told I will not get my $90.00 back.not even half of it.i will get back nothing because there is no refunds on pay as you go. (You know at least before bell would credit your acct if there was a mix up or you werent happy) FREEDOM offers nothing except to wait until my plan runs out (on the 24th of june) so ive wasted money, its basically flushing $90.00 down the drain.
I do NOT recommend FREEDOM at all. Not for anything. I thought KOODO was bad but FREEDOM is in my opinion a total scam and waste of money as well as time.if you feel like flushing money down the toilet then sure go sign with these guys butbifbu actually want a working cell plan thenbid recommend going to either Lucky mobile or Chatter.you would be an undatisfied customer just like i am if u decided to go with FREEDOM. NEVER AGAIN and i will let everyone i know as well.

On the 5th of February to freedom mobile kiosk in sun ridge mall i was trying to help a senior customer of freedom mobile to get his account information and the store manager "Sabiha" was so rude and she refused to help the senior customer and said that i will not help you I'm when you need your bank statement you go to the bank and get the statement they don't give you number to call and get your statement as she said that is the policy.

This is the crappiest company I have ever dealt with, excuse after excuse on why I cant pay my plan. Cant verify my details after I went in person with my id and its a plan in my name. No bills sent to my address, I never set up a pin, and I even verified my email address and still wont let me pay my plan cause of a pin? Cancelling this extra phone and going to another company pretty silly when this is such a simple fix and noone will help me even pay the account. They dont want my money thats ok someone else will gladly take it and with proper customer service. Also like to point out the actual service is choppy and unreliable, dead zones everywhere and can hardly ever use my device. STAY AWAY from this company put the extra money out I guess with them you get what you pay for. 0 STARS

In 1 hour they managed to serve 3 people. DO NOT GO TO THIS KIOSK THERE IS A BETTER ONE CLOSER.
