Worst freedom store in Edmonton. Zero customer service always empty selling opened phones to customers. Duplicate or fake accessories. Ripping off people of their money for their good. Please avoid this store if you don’t wanna be ripped.

Special on a new phone and made sure it was up and running before I left. Did the transfer from my old phone and it worked great, vary helpful and friendly.

Went to this location after receiving an email offering a renewal promotion at the end of my wife's contract. Told the rep I had a very good plan (20GB with a S20 FE included for $45/month) and wanted to get as close to that plan and calibre of phone as possible. She worked away and asked corporate and eventually came back saying "the closest I can get is $55" to which I said great. The contract did not reflect this price but she assured me the discounts would appear on my first bill. Sure enough, the first bill was $80/month for the same phone on a worse (10 GB) plan, and neither they nor Freedom corporate say they can do anything and it's my fault for signing the contract essentially. I explained there was no way I'd agree to pay almost double for a worse product if it was presented honestly to me, to no avail. 2 stars instead of 1 because I'm not sure if it was a misunderstanding in the store that corporate won't fix, but awful experience either way, be very careful signing on with Freedom. Their deals are good, but customer service has been patchy and now outright bad over my 4 years with them, I'll probably be moving on after my contract.

We were doing a buyers remorse and the customer service was horrible, when we were buying the phone they were all nice and happy. When we wanted cancel because of the garbage range they were arrogant especially the lady there. The man named aman was awesome.

Very poor customer service. Was looking to pay my bill and possibly upgrade my phone and change phone plans. The customer service representative. Would direct me to call or look online to get my information for phone plans or general information. Any questions I asked was to automatically to give freedom a call, spoken with a rude manner.

He did not even finish helping me. Instead I was looking at the phones tech specs on my own. He then ran to the next door to help someone without even telling me or finishing our conversation. I waited for a while but was frustrated with the entire situation and I left.

This is my first interaction with this location for freedom and unfortunately I will not be coming back.

Would not recommend coming to this location. Until there is better customer service.

Location does not take credit card for payments of bills. Only debit/cash.

Agents somtimes don't like to give details about services. When you ask them they don't explain to you and keep you cobfused. One time I had a problem with my line, I asked the agent bug he wax not sure how to solve the issue. HD gave me a Ned sim to use but HD didn't even activated it. He asked me to do it by myself.

I and my family have been visitng this place for many years. All the services we received were excellent. They always give detailed information for questions we have. We recommend this place to people who want cellphone service. Keep up the good service.

My wife and I were in to get her a new phone this afternoon. The staff were patient, knowledgeable & helpful. They worked quickly to help get the phone set up and ready to go for us. We were very happy with the service. 5/5

Absolutely terrible customer service. Asked them to help set up my phone and they said no. Said it would be easy just hook up your email. Well for someone that is not technically inclined it wasn't

Me and my husband bought two expensive phones. The girl who served us said by buying insurance we get full protection anything happens to the phone. We paid for insurance monthly for full coverage on our phone. Our phone screens broke. We called the customer service and they told us to another department. Once we did our claim they told us to pay $40 for each phone which I paid then we made an appointment to fix it. We got charged then on our Walmart Mastercard for $862 and another $94 by a company named protection plan. I thought it is unauthorized charged. But Walmart told me the insurance company of freedom mobile charged me that much. I had no idea I will get this charged. When I discussed my claim the person told the only charge I ampaying is $40 for each phone. If I knew I never claimed it and I went to fix it in a store which would have cost me way less. I paid every month almost for 3 years to get charged almost the full amount of buying another phone by just fixing two screens. I was freedom mobiles customer for many years. I will change my provider. Please do not buy any coverage from them.

Worst customer service experience ever. Would never recommend to anyone. I don't want to waste my time telling about my bad experience at their store. I gave them 1 star because it doesn't allow me to post it otherwise.

Extremely unprofessional & unethical customer service by your salesman Deep.
As a potential customer, we were waiting for 20 minutes as there were two customers already ahead of us. This man was very much aware that we were waiting there for quite some time.but he ignored us & went straight to the next customer who had come way after us. We still waited for 2 minutes, but he didn’t even bother to look at us nor talk to us.
So disgusting! Wonder how you even employ such people for your business?
Very much disappointed & upset with this kind of service from Freedom Mobile. Never to give you any of our business with this kind of an experience.

I had the most amazing experience in this mobile store. The rep there is very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient! I am so happy with my new XR. The prices are excellent! I really recommend this store.

The lady who seems to be the manager or owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. Some of the other staff is not, and may have problems with communication.

First, the store had an off-putting odor. Second, they have a policy that to sell me a phone (without a contract), the sale must be cash or debit, and the sale must be final.

When I asked why these terms, the store clerk did not know. Obviously I bought my phone somewhere else.

I switched to Freedom because i was told that i would get an iPhone X and a plan that I already had with another provider for $60 plus tax but the deal was too good to pass up. I was reassured 4 times at the location that i was paying $64 plus tax. It was all lies. I was screwed over by the manager Sarah. She will not answer my calls and the customer service manager was useless. Freedom mobile service and reception suck Royally.

Tried to scam me when I returned the phone within 15 days. I had the new Iphone XS Max for 11 days. I really wanted to like Freedom mobile. They gave me the phone for free when I signed up for the $65 plan plus 50 Mytab. I am out in Leduc which was supposed to be LTE coverage. It kept switching to 3G and actually went on the Away network a few times right in town. Also my phone calls were really garbled and I got lots of complaints that I could not be heard clearly. I finally decided that it wasn't worth it and went to the same location where I purchased the phone to return it. The guy behind the counter went to speak to his manager and then came back out and informed me that he could only give me a refund if there was something wrong with the phone. SCAMMER! I know my rights. CRTC law states I have 15 days to return the phone. I read him the riot act. I told him that this was not a debate and referred to the CRTC website. He "went back to talk to his manager" again, for 10 minutes and this time came out saying they would refund my money. DARNED RIGHT! When I went to the Bell mobility store to re-activate my Bell account they looked at the receipt I was issued and exclaimed that Freedom mobile's return policy as stated on the receipt is ILLEGAL! I WILL be making a complaint about this company and this particular store to the CCTS. I also need to point out that the person spoke non-english with his "manager" over the phone in front of me. Was this so I couldn't hear what kind of scheme they were up to?

Avoid coming here, the guy told me my sim card was the problem and not the phone. After changing new sim still same issue, finally let me changed the phone. They won't give you money back on the sim card even it's not your sim problem. Hate this kind of service when the technical support who work here don't know what they are doing.
Manager don't care about it will ignore you and you will just have to walk out the store with nothing much you can do.
