FreshCo Brentwood

They are almost ALWAYS out of cream or milk. I've come here several times since it's opened, as it's the closest to me for short trips if I'm out or need something last minute. But every time I need cream for my coffee they always seem to be out of stock. When I ask politely if there is any in the back, I usually get snapped at with a "no". I'm sure employees are annoyed with the same questions over and over. But maybe that's a sign the store should be ordering more. I can count more times they are out of cream than when they have it in stock. Super frustrating.

I left my original review below but I have updated because this store has many cash registers but don't have them opened. Trying to force ppl to use the self check out. As customers, you should Refuse to use these machines because our groceries are costing us more while the stores gain more money because they are lazy and don't do what they are hired for; and leading the way to give jobs to robots. I have overheard senior workers complaining about how the younger workers don't want to do tasks asked and refuse to help in other areas. THIS IS A MAJOR MANAGEMENT ISSUE. When I asked for another cash to open, the 2 girls standing at the self scan said someone would be opening soon, then rolled their eyes. These young people need proper customer service training. Another cash did open, but they closed one. So it didn't make any difference what they did & the lines continued to grow. Completely unprofessional customer service at this store.

Definitely worth the prices for MOST items. Has a decent selection of stuff. But they do have price gouging going on here- so be ware.

Not good selection of fresh meat & not always for fruits & veggies. It varies

Quick one stop shop for your essentials. I think its smaller then other Fresco's like the one near WhiteHorn Station and Sunridge Mall but other wise it has better prices then the other option in Brentwood which is over priced Co-Op

Decent prices for staple items like milk and eggs. The produce is often not very fresh or high quality.
The thing that bugs me is they often don't even stock the feature items that are advertised in the flyer. 4 out of my last 5 visits I've left empty handed because I popped in for something from the flyer only to find they don't carry it.
I'll stick to Superstore for my weekly grocery run and get them to price match any worthwhile sales at FreshCo, even if they're bait and switch.

I had very bad customer experience at this store. Today in the morning, I wanted to buy New Zealand Spring Lamb short Cut Lamb Leg, the price on the Brentwood Website flyer is 4.88/Ib, I know sometimes different store has different price, so I doubled checked the price, It is 4.88/Ib.when I checked it out, I showed the flyer on my phone to the cashier, and tell her the price should be 4.88/Ib, but the cashier who worked at self check out refused to see the flyer on my phone, and yelling to me, "It is not us, there are lots of Freshco in Canada. Her attitude was very poor, and all of customer look at me.

How big the advertisement for price match? But today I went for price matching for diapers, they said no price matching! If you cannot do that for every product, please don’t make the advertisement so big so clear! I have to nail the lie for every customer！！！！！！

Perfect for everyone, if you are looking for a cheaper price of frozen chicken drumsticks, I got it for 10 bucks a box.

They had nearly all the different types of (that I know of, anyway) like honey crisp, Granny Smith, golden delicious, ambrosia, etc. Not the largest Freshco location, but looked well-kept and organized.

The staff are a bunch of frauds. First they will ask you "Do you want the receipt" and usually on good faith of being an old customer you decline as you think that it's environmental friendly not to waste paper. But when the product you get turns out to rotten and you return to the store within 48 hours. The refuse to take out a duplicate receipt.
The manager is racist, as I felt that someone else of their color would have received a different treatment and moreover their "double fresh" policy is a big scam. Please go to their website and look up the policy under legal.

Stopped there today, just to pick up a couple items. They are supposed to be the discount safeway brand. We'll they might be a little cheaper than regular safeway, but still more expensive than others. One item I noticed was their crunch and munch was regular price 1.49$. Today it was on sale, big yellow sign, 1.47$. Really? ! TWO cents off, why embarass yourselves like that, pathetic. Think people are that dumb? Not impressed.

They have a really good selection here! It’s a smaller store so I was pleasantly surprised by that. Also very good prices!

I went to this store and had a great time! Found everything I was looking for and was treated with excellent customer service by a young lady who wasn't hard on the eyes either ;). She even cleaned up MY mess and assured me that it was alright, even treated the spilled blueberries with care! I can't say I won't be coming back just to see her, HA!

I love shopping at this store. It was an old Safeway dating back to the ‘60s and some aspects of the original design can still be seen. It’s a nice place to shop with lower prices than many other grocery stores.

Very affordable! As a financially struggling university student, this is the best option next to Walmart and Superstore

What horrible customer service at this location. Spoke to the manager expressed that another FreshCo had better pricing on bbq chickens she refused to match the price. She informed me if it was a Safeway Sobee‘s Walmart or co-op she would match the price but they don’t match between fresh co. I said that’s ridiculous if that’s the way you guys are gonna be I won’t shop here anymore she said great we don’t need customers like you here. Great way to start when your new store in the area I have no problem taking my business elsewhere hope they close the door soon:)

Seems like a very limited selection compared to the safeway it was converted from. Question.if you own Safeway.and Freshco.why pay to renovate one to the other. I now go to Superstore.

Attended the grand opening today. Wow! The store is lovely! Great prices, great selection! Produce is fresh, meat and bakery looked fantastic. I can’t say enough about the prices! Highly recommend.
