Food is a little pricey here, but still the cheapest in town. Staff make this 4 star cause.ofnhow friendly they are. Always very welcoming and helpful. Kitchen does make some great stuff to eat. However like I said it's a little pricey just paid $7.for just a sandwich
Great selection of high quality goods, clean bathrooms, friendly staff, well managed store, well kept, nice to be around good folks in a nice grocery setting, its busy at lunch and they have hot food available towards the back
I never thought I would leave a review on a grocery store! This shop has a little of everything tho! We have often stopped in on our way through in our motorhome. Pick up essentials and things we didn’t even know we needed. Open late for weary travellers and big clean bathrooms available as well.
The only store in town! There is a good variety, some smallwares & a few organic items, at times. Prices are what you would expect, higher than larger populated communities but they do have good specials. If you register for their points it adds up quick. I love it that the staff remember your name!
Expensive to shop and buy but it is a small town and it's the only grocery I was told of. So if you want to eat and not just fast food then dine or die (leave) as they say.
Not everything is pricey though, most frozen foods are acceptable and priced almost as if you will in cities.
Pretty expensive grocery trips. Out of stock on items more often than I've seen in other stores. I'm guessing because it's the only grocery store there and it's hard to stock with an unknown changing transient population. You need to be very careful shopping the produce and bakery. Produce is iffy some days and the "fresh" made items you really need to check the dates on. The fried chicken and spuds there are awesome as long as they are fresh. The doughnuts are great too. Pretty decent selection of ready made lunch foods if that floats your boat. They have added tap to pay and that has helped with the ridiculous lineups. It's also nice they are open so early in the morning.
Great selection and clean however horrifically overpriced everything. Talk about take advantage of the local oil field and travelling oil field workers
I mean what choice do you have.honestly.should you make the trip to Whitecourt? Seems plausible when you are using a company vehicle and company fuel to drive 45 minutes each way.
The prices are a little high on some things if you are a smart shopper there are lots of great deals. Insane amount of selection for the space. Lots of food for everyone from people looking for cheap deals to people looking for specific items. Very friendly staff very helpful. Except that one guy.but we dont talk about THAT guy.
This store is terrible, the pricing, the service and the out dated foods. Only way they get away with it is the owner is on the town board and they will not allow any competition to step foot into FoxCreek. Me and 100s if not 1000s boy is the best part wcott this store and instead of giving them any of our hard earned money we drive to Whitecourt and buy our groceries from Walmart, yup that’s right an American company due to the very very very high pricing they have and very poor customer service. Trust me and don’t darken the doors of this grocery store, I know it’s on a highway but they fail to mention it’s highway robbery to shop in this store. Just because it’s an oil town and we all make good money but it doesn’t mean jack up prices and try and get a piece of our money. For those that don’t believe this review take a walk thru and check pricing and then compare shop at Walmart or even the Edmonton Freson Bros and see the difference for yourselves. Big big savings to go shop anywhere but FoxCreek Freson Bros
