It was Alberta Beef weekend, excellent food and service, top quality, it may cost more but you can’t beat the quality and service!

I have been there more than a handful of times and the only issue I have ever had is the price of the produce

Like everything is priced a few dollars more than safeway but it is mostly all local to Alberta. If you have the spare cash shop here if not I would probably recommend safeway

My brother and I won the golden ticket for 4 free meals at the medieval feast and it was wonderful. The food was great and the service was really very good. So friendly and kind. Thank you for the exceptional experience tonight!

Best place to shop, great frozen pizzas, amazing bread, great customer service, fresh produce, always taken care of very well.

Freson Bros is a family road trip favourite. Great place to stop for a quick meal. Most notable their hot BBQ meats. We always order the smoked beef short ribs & pork ribs. They serve generous portions of sides: must try their cheesy garlic potatoes and mac & cheese.

Not a meat eater? Or want something lighter? They have a self serve salad bar and salad boxes for affordable prices.

Large bakery section with breads, cookies, cakes, parfaits, muffins etc.

Would be 5 star if they didn’t cancel the organic butter chicken sauces and the matcha galerie au chocolat bars. Wishing there were more organic options (especially for the dairy aisle) would love to see heavy cream without carrageenan. Other than that, 5/5

I went into this location to pick up items for a lunch and dinner, after reading online that they offer hot take out pizzas. We figured that it would be a good option for a fun lunch to take into Jasper. However, when we approached the counter, the worker told us that they were "too busy" to make a pizza (at 11 a.m.) and would not be able to complete it. Not sure exactly what the worker was doing, but it didn't look too important.

After that, we went to the deli counter for the fall back of sandwiches and the worker there didn't know what oven roasted turkey was and we needed to point out the meat to them.

I understand that Freson Bros is an original to Hinton location and we have been to other locations in B. C.and Alberta. At all of those locations we have experienced much higher prices and weaker employees than other grocery stores.

Do better.

A great grocery store with plenty of options! Great hot meals with tons of food for cheap prices

Came at about 6 pm to get hot food for take out to our hotel. Several bins were empty, chicken was down to wings; which we do not like. Gravy was like mud and fries were ice cold & brittle. One worker completely incompetent as she had to ask the other worker all the answers. Not like it was rocket science. We got charged full prices, tried to eat the "food". It landed in the garbage where it belonged. First and last time anyone will ever see us at Freson Bros. Disgusting!

Best Stop in Hinton. You'll Love to be here for most of your travelling needs. Better Food here. Quicker in and out. Great Parking. I couldn't attest to Customer Service Experience, because it may differ greatly when you arrive, however I have no complaints and I always leave Happier.

The food is always incredible and the service is amazing. Everyone is so Kind and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect.

Stopped here on my way through town, I had heard from guys I work with that their fresh food is amazing. I bought two pieces of fried chicken for $8, I thought it was a lot for two pieces but I’d heard it was good. Ate it down the road a ways, it was crispy all right, crispy like it had been cooked hours earlier and left to dry under the heat lamps, couldn’t swallow it or finish it. Very disappointing, do yourself a favour if you need some fast food, go to a fast food restaurant, this place is not good.

Good place for snacking like for truckers and stuff like that to eat quick meals also they have a whole bunch of other stuff it's a grocery store as well so you can pick up and go they do have fruit snacks and everything else for the go so I recommend it for sure

Freson Bros slaps! This is must stop after a day of skiing. Great vibes, good food, and phenomenal service. The staff always make us feel welcome. Definitely can’t go wrong with the beef on a bun ;)

The food is busting (very good), Melissa helped us out, and she deserves a raise. I’m looking forward for the next time we cume around these parts.

Good store. Lots of parking and nice clean washrooms. Large selection of hot and cold grab and go prepared food. Only complaint is that there are no 'individual' sized salads, just mega huge family size. Please add smaller portions too guys!

Very clean, well laid out store. Awesome house made beef jerky. The deli worker couldn't understand us and gave us one serving of the roast beef combo instead of 3-4 servings. Great selection of organic products.

Wow 2 min walk from my house and store loaded with everything we need.no sence of shopping anywhere else

Clean, very fast meal service, fresh meat from Alberta, good prices and has a good selection of meat, candy, and produce.

Freson Bros. Hinton offers an excellent selection of product at an okay price. Aisles are well arranged and clear in what they provide. The in-house bakery and meats work exceptionally well with the take out section offered in-store.

Overall, a good grocery store, and good customer service, but I often am finding items that are near/past expiry date, or constantly fighting with the virtually nonexistent shelf life of the Freson bros in house baked goods, especially bread. This past week, I purchased juice (!) That was past it's due date by 13 days already. I shouldn't even be finding non refrigerated juice that has less than a year left of expiry/best before time.

It's a great Freson Bros, I think it was once 24hrs, I'm not certain, but they have a great selection of sandwiches, salads, the best stocked deli I've ever seen, the hot lunch and breakfast is really good, wish I could always eat that good of food and the staff at the deli counter, the bakery and meats in the back are super great, I didn't forget produce, they have sweet fruits, high quality fruits and veggies, some already chopped and ready to fry or steam, they have pre sliced stuff for do it your self meals at the hotel room if you got a kitchenette.

Bought food from their inhouse food court. Service was aweful, 3 different staff and not one could understand English I was speaking. They kept trying to get me to buy something I didn't want.
Once we got everything we wanted the food itself was great!

Delicious and fresh food in the bakery, ESPECIALLY MUFFINS!

They did some changes recently to their Muffins and new ones are just amazing!

We moved to Calgary but can't forget the taste of Hinton Freson Bros Muffins.

We both 6 packs last time while returning home.

Awesome clean store that has almost anything youll need and then some. Love that they are open until 11pm.

Staff are awesome as well.

For now on we will be stocking up at this location when we are camping in as trying to get anything in the town of Jasper is a nightmare ;)

Fries and Onion rings were cold, I mean Ice cold, really turned me off my meal from the deli.

Men's washroom was disgusting, to the point where I was like yep I hit up a washroom elsewhere. Completely gross, and in no way OK.

The staff are always friendly and the store is always well maintained.groceries are rather pricey.

Super friendly and pleasant. Great selection of in store made food and general products I'm looking for as well as some fun inventory for kids that other stores might not typically have.

Got a 1/4 chicken combo from the deli and the lady gave me probably double the amount of chicken for free (and she mentioned it - it wasn't a mistake).

Yummy food, cheap and well prepared. Give it a try, for 2 people, we paid less than 30 bucks and we were so full!

Couldn't get over how overpriced the prepared food was. Due to location?

Stopped in on our way to jasper. This store has really good baked breads and camping snacks. Good deal on canned sodas (their house brand). Even found a big bag of gummy krabby patties to send to a friend. Staff was friendly. Almost no one was wearing masks though, even employees.

Contrary to the giant neon sign and 2 large poster boards at the entrance and in parking lot it is not open 24 hours which was disappointing. I'm sure it wouldn't take more than 20 min to put them away and turn off the sign.

I appreciate the overnight parking.

Prices are extremely bloated, bordering on the ridiculous. Very helpful staff, but vegetables go off within a few days. Better prices, but no better produce longevity at Safeway, unfortunately. Seems to be punishment for living in Hinton.

Always greated with a smile and they offer FREE RV parking and the best very reasonable breakfasts. I’ll be honest and say if I was a regular shopper thier higher than avg.prices would most likely push me to shop elsewhere. I’ll happily pay abit extra for a few things in exchange for AWESOME customer service and a smile.

Stopped into “kitchen” the restaurant. Good food for cheap, lots of options. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Love how it is 24 hours, and have never really had a long wait there. Also some pretty great fish and chips over at the little deli/cafeteria area

Freson Bros do a lot of good work in the community through the donations of food and preparation supplies. We choose to purchase our groceries here because they support multiple non profits and charities. Thank you Freson Bros for being good corporate citizens.

Good place to shop, prices are a bit high but not an issue at all. A one stop place to shop everything you need. Though this is not a good place to shop produce, produce section is very disappointing, empty shelves rotten fruits displayed like they dont care about it, beware of the reduced stuffs too.this store sells EXPIRED items in reduced price, hope the health inspectors will take note of that, very unacceptable.

Room to park large trucks. Really helpful and friendly staff. Huge deli with lots of choices. I always stop there on my way through Hinton.

I know it's Hinton and away from any major cities but the prices here were outrageous. Other than that the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and it was very clean

Prices way to high for a local grocery store they want you to shop local why should you when you can drive a hr east of town and get way lower prices

Great store with the best sourdough bread ever. Made is store from Alberta wheat, I make sure to stock up on my way past. They are open 24 hours so it's great when you need to pick up groceries when travelling back through the night. They welcome travel trailers and there are other shops close by.

Great shop! So many unique products and also all of the staples you'd expect in any City supermarket.

Open 24 hrs so if you dont like crowds or a truck driver this is the place for you. At 3 am zero vechiles in parking lot so big rigs can swing in het groceries and get out withno problem at all.
