A really nice and welcoming place. My first time waxing and Rose was very kind, she took me through each step and explained what she was doing which eased my nerves. The overall environment along with the wonderful staff made what should be an uncomfortable experience much more comfortable. I highly recommend!

I do not recommend this place. The employees are extremely rude and unprofessional. They will cancel your apt without informing you as well so watch out.

These ladies are good at what they do and are so kind while doing it! I won’t get waxing done anywhere else. Thank you Samantha for always taking care of me - you are an incredible esthetician and person.

Absolutely no free parking. And they will not wait not even 7 mins I tried finding parking told them how hard it was and how far I came to o use their services and have been for several months. Sent me home after driving 40 minutes and being 7 minutes late. No accommodation what so ever. Will not use them again. Unless your paying for parking can’t just get your eyebrows done you gotta pay up to park

I have been going to frilly lilly for years, originally the one in kingsland but i moved to kensington so I have been going here. I see Priscilla every 4/5 weeks for a Brazilian and she does a fabulous job. I joined the brazilian club which gives you discounted brazilians and discounts on all other services. Will always come back here:)

Girls are very friendly and atmosphere was great. Place is very clean and all tools are thoroughly sanitized, Covid or no Covid. They have always taken pride in cleanliness in the salon.

I saw Samantha here for a Brazilian and full leg wax after being referred by my roommate and she was just perfect. She was super friendly and nice which made the whole experience way less uncomfortable.
My legs have never looked better and my skin was super soft and shiny afterwards.
I think i’ll be a long time client after this appointment.

My first experience was this past Saturday for a pedicure. I want to be clear that the girl who did the pedicure was absolutely lovely and did a great job.

Where my loss of stars comes from is the setup and pricing for the pedicure. They do not have proper pedicure chairs with attached tub and instead it’s bench seating with a large bowl for soaking your feet. For the cost ($75, $90 after tip), I would expect it to be the massaging chairs with jets. The lack of pedicure chairs isn’t mention on the website and if it had been I wouldn’t have booked so it seemed a bit misleading. The lack of a built in foot tub causes the water to cool down quickly because it’s just in a metal bowl. The bench seating wasn’t overly comfortable and I was disappointed I didn’t get the standard massaging chair I was looking forward to relaxing in. The pricing should reflect the lack of chairs and it should be clearly noted on the website so consumers can make informed decisions while booking.

I had an absolutely fabulous waxing, mani & pedi experience with Samantha. She is detail oriented, very experienced and lovely to chat with! I will be back to see Samantha regularly.

I have been going to Frilly Lilly for so long. There is no other place that can compare in the waxing services offered along with the cleanliness and health standards measures. There are truly the best in my opinion. I love getting shellac manicures and shellac pedicures there too. All of the girls are so warm and welcoming. The Kensington location is my favourite. The retail is also amazing. The frilly lavender scrub is a staple during baths along with the exfoliators.

Have been a regular for years - service and technique is spot on, clean rooms, staff are friendly, and prices are average. Paid parking nearby on syreet or nearby underground garage.

I've been a costumer at Frilly Lilly for about 5 years now. I never felt the need to choose a specific person to do the service because I have been always satisfied with their work.until now.

In the last few times I was at the Kensington location, the person did a very terrible job! I stayed quiet at the first time, because I thought she was still learning and I didn't complain. But I went there a second time and it was even worse! I requested a bikini wax, and it was so painful because of the poor service given! I have never felt that pain before (in my 10 + experience in doing it!). It hurt, and the "professional" left the job undone.

After leaving this review here, frilly lilly reached out to me and I received a very good customer service from them. They returned the amount paid for the bad experience I had last time.
I really appreciate their effort in trying to make things right.
I’ll probably go back there probably with other professional in the future though.

A winning experience that I can honestly feel good about recommending to any of my friends and family. I wasn't rushed and they really do know how to value the customer. Everything was taken care of seamlessly and done right. Valeria was fabulous as well as the rest of the staff. I will definitely be coming back. Excited for my next visit ladies!

Frilly lilly in Kensington is definitely my favourite spot to walk into to get pampered with shellac manicures and pedicure. The aestheticians are all amazing. The waxing is great and as painless as can be. The environment is extremely clean and everyone is super welcoming. Keep up the amazing work. Thank you!

Just moved to Calgary and thought I would check out this location. Although I didn't have a great experience with Alisha. I'm not the type to complain, but she didn't explain any after care solutions and the next day i broke out in a rash, which was strange because I've been to other locations.

I've been to a couple locations and am impressed by the professionalism of the staff at the Kensington location. Keep it up!
