Fringe Coffee

Fringe coffee has some of the best coffee I've ever had while also having an incredibly welcoming atmosphere, love this place and wish I'd found it sooner.

I'm always seeking big sunny window cafes, and this one has a glorious big front window where you can see the sky! Good place for sunrise/sunset/chinook arch views.
The coffee is really wonderful, the best cup I've had in a long time from proper freshly ground aromatic beans. There's an adorable little green and orange frog and lots of plants. And there is a friendly multigenerational mixture of locals. I might hope they could soften/warm up the concrete acoustics at some point, but other than that I love the vibe!

The Egg Nog Latte is lovely! And the Smores Hot chocolate was a great option too!

The Matcha Latte was tasty. My daughter absolutely loved the swings to sit on and played with some of the games. They just got a new frog and my daughter enjoyed looking at him as well.

The barista was a bit rude. We were the only ones really there for most of our visit and she kind of acted like we were inconveniencing her with our presence.

Fringe is a wonderful addition to Montgomery. Their vegan and gf pastry options are awesome. I think my favourite beverage is their Carmel latte, iced or hot! The Carmel goes into the espresso shot to be melted and creates an amazing and smooth flavour and texture.

Space is bright and inviting and staff and owners are lovely!

We visit this place several times a week and our favourite coffee shop in Calgary. Coffee is always fresh and tastes great. We love latte, every time we taste a perfect cup. Great staff and customer service.

Nice, new, friendly, progressive, place. I hear they are adding a small kitchen to serve some breakfast items. Really like their coffee.

The owner of this place - Ali knows how to create that cozy atmosphere! I love their creamy cheesecakes served over the weekends!

Great coffee, friendly staff and adorable set up! Live music while we were there so nice, could use more snack options but its new and will probly come:)

Love this coffee shop. The drinks are delicious, they support local and the staff/owner are lovely. Warm welcome everytime I go in. I have yet to see the live music performances on Thursday and Saturday evenings. A wonderfully unique and friendly environment. I recommend it!

Amazing Coffee Shop.

My wife and I love coffee and we were very excited when Fringe opened in our neighbourhood. It is so good it makes us forgo our self made coffees and take a walk to Fringe instead.

Their coffee is excellent and the atmosphere in the cafe is one that makes you want to stay and mellow for a while.

All the right stuff, they have Oat Mylk, GF options, and Vegan treats.

This might be my favourite coffee spot in the city as of yet!

The staff were wonderful, and I throughly enjoyed the quick chats while I waited for my order.

They have local art up around the cafe for purchase. AND they have swing seats.

Popped in here for a short business meeting. Nice quiet place that I didn't know existed and was suggested by my client. Plenty of space in here, not crowded at all. Coffee was great and while I didn't partake, the food looked pretty good. Might just have to pop back again!

Great coffee, love the interior and live music was awsome to enjoy. We just came in to have a cup of coffee but now love the place.will be here more often.

I came across this coffee shop by accident today & I’m super glad I did. It’s got such an amazing vibe, very clean, great coffee selections and amazing pastries. The staff here are super friendly and I’m so glad we ended up here. This is now one of my definite places to go to, and I suggest that if you love great coffee/espresso beverages you will not be disappointed at all.

A fairly new coffee shop in the Montgomery neighborhood, this is not your typical big chain coffee shop. The coffee is done right, the staff is amazing and friendly while the local pastries are delicious. The decor is open and inviting for people of all ages. Ali the owner is great and a big supporter of other small businesses both in the neighborhood and the rest of the city. Stop in and check it out, you won’t be disappointed. Went here to try the YYC hot chocolate fest raspberry chilli drink. It was so good! The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was top notch! This will definitely be a regular place for me from now on. Keep up the great work guys!
