Fringe Theatre

People at the Edmonton Fringe are repeats, former or current performers, proud parents and theatre lovers. They smile, laugh, hug, and watch the show, trading favorite bits with the group they share it with every year. This year's theme is death, spurred by the ageing of the faithfuls. In this 42nd year, they accept it as part of life, inevitable, funny and not scary at all.

Lots of interesting entertainment, some free and some for a fee. Tons of different venues and shows. It was absolutely fantastic.

If you've never attended a nerd night, you should check it out. The topics are different every time. Gets you thinking. It's like a live Ted talk. It's a fun night.

They love to book Artists then cancel at the last minute so certain people "feel safe"
