I have been using Furnace Family for the past few years, Have always received very good customer service from their office staff. Easy to get a hold of with quick replies. Service Technician Chandler installed a larger air filter box for my high efficient Trane furnace. He’s always easy to talk too, always makes time for questions and does good quality work. Highly recommend this Company to anyone looking for a trustworthy Heating/ Air Conditioning, plumbing and electrical work.

Our furnace wouldn't start on a cold November morning so I called Furnace Family (they do our regular furnace check-ups) and they had Sheldon come to check it out. I was impressed that they could get someone out the same day but Sheldon was absolutely fantastic! He explained everything to me, made the repair and had the furnace running like new in no time. He was such a nice guy too. I highly recommend Furnace Family for any of your HVAC issues.

Added: Six months later, we had Furnace Family back to install a new air conditioning system. Aaron, their Estimator, was excellent to deal with; punctual and prepared when he arrived. He showed us three options to consider - good, better & best. No pressure, just good information. And then Mitchell & Robin did a fantastic job of the installation; they were efficient, professional and walked me through all aspects of how the AC works. I really have to hand it to Furnace Family - they are excellent! They'll be taking care of our heating & cooling needs for many years to come. Highly recommended!

Your technician did a professional job of the installation, he adjusted the furnace speed when I asked him to, also he pointed out a problem which I had repaired the same day by Arpi’s Firnace.

We have had so many companies come in the try and fix our furnace problems, of no heat, since we bought our new home 12 years ago. We are amazed that they were able to fix the problem and they were so efficient. We have heat now. We are so thankful that we found a great furnace repair company. Chandler, my furnace technician, was just great. He phoned and asked if he could come earlier than the scheduled appointment…which I find almost never happens with other service and repair companies. He was thorough in his tune-up, and explained a few important details a furnace owner should know (when to change a humidifier pad and air filter). I bought my furnace from this company, and cannot recommend it highly enough to people.

Very happy with the service! Scott gave a clear and thorough explanation of the problem with our furnace and provided good information about our options. He was both professional and cordial. The company promptly provided us with estimates for a replacement, which we are reviewing. We have no hesitation in recommending them.

Great service. Chandler made a house call at 8pm on a -25C night to fix our furnace. During the visit he also notice another problem with the unit and provided options and prices for the repairs.

We had a large corporate company try to sell us a new furnace we did not need basically a scam. Called Furnace Family for a second opinion and got a honest answer and had my 10 year old furnace fixed for $800. Just about made a $5000 mistake. Big thanks to Furnace Family for being honest.

I got a new furnace and A/C installed in an old bungalow that didn't have A/C. There were some challenges to the job, such as the mechanical room being extremely small and the electricity service being only 60 amp. Furnace Family, including Kevin and a few others, did a great job in helping switch a couple appliances to gas with new gas lines, installing the furnace and A/C properly and showing me what the different lines and vents were for. The performance of the furnace and A/C has been great so far (2 months). The initial quote from Wayne was also really good which was why I went with Furnace Family to begin with. They come back after a year to do maintenance for free the first time so I will see you then.

Fantastic experience from start to finish! The initial process to get a quote was painless and extremely quick. They arrived exactly when they said they would on installation day, and everything went smoothly. They answered all of my questions and were very professional throughout the whole process. We first met Chris Williams who came to explain the benefits of the models they see and to do an installation survey. He was able to answer all our questions, was very professional, and explained everything perfectly. Great!
On the day of installation, Robin Keating the installation engineer turned up on time and after showing him around, started work. He initially had some problems fishing the cables etc.through 20 feet or so above the ceiling of the basement, but called a colleague to come and help him. Together they managed to get the job done. No mess, no real noise, in fact, we often forgot they were there. Much sooner than expected Robin explained that they had finished and showed us how the system operated. Again Robin was very professional, courteous and in general did a great job! We are very pleased.

Furnace Family installed an Central Air Conditioner on existing furnace. They pulled the line set and power through the finished basement ceiling without any damage or having to install a hatch. You would not know it was done. They arrived promptly when scheduled and completed the work unobtrusively, and cleaned up completely.

These guys are honest! They came out when called and were honest that the furnace was still under warranty and they did not install it. These are the type of people that should be serving more of us.

Furnace Family were amazing to work with. They scheduled us in for a quote quick, and they found a better option for an air conditioning unit than any other company did (for an even better price!). The install was fast and easy, and we couldn’t be happier with our new air conditioner and thermostat. We called Furnace Family because we couldn't get our Company to come out within a reasonable time. Our tech person was excellent. Our tech person confirmed that we were under warranty and he encouraged us to go back to the company that installed our furnace as Furnace Family wouldn't qualify to do the work under our warranty. My mom's place has been extremely hot since the start of this crazy heat wave last month and so I called in this amazing team of experts at Furnace Family to come and save the day. They were able to help me out and get my Mom's house nice a cool for her. They were extremely helpful and professional and I would recommend them time and time again.

While we were always huge fans of Williams Home Comfort, we were worried to hear that they merged with Furnace Family Heating. BUT, we honestly had nothing to worry about! Furnace Family Heating provided excellent customer service over the phone, and our service guy, Jay, was fantastic! He arrived on time, was able to address our issues with our A/C, and gave us great instructions. We highly recommend Furnace Family Heating, and they will the first company we call for furnace and A/C issues.

I contacted Williams A/C & Heating and found they had merged with Furnace Family. I had a really good experience with Williams so I was a bit apprehensive at first. I needed a service call as my A/C was not performing as it had originally a couple of years earlier. The young gentleman to service the unit arrived promptly on time. He was very friendly and got to work right away. Once he located the problem, which turned out to be a setting I failed to adjust when turning on the A/C for the year, he showed me the exact issue and how to correct it for the future. He also spent the time to show me some different filter options for Summer & Winter. Outside, he cleaned the unit thoroughly, checked for any leaks or signs of damage, and then cleaned the unit. The only issue was the iPad he had wouldn't take payment. I was able to pay by eTransfer to the office, so all worked out in the end.

I bought my home air conditioner from Williams Home Comfort many years ago. They have since merged with Furnace Family into one big company.

Last year I had the technician come out and after he left I had a sinking feeling that something was not right as my air conditioner did not seem to work as well as previous years. But perhaps I was just imagining it. It bothered me through the season but I didn't want to pay again for another service the same year.

Usually I do service every two years but I was still worried this year so I called to have another inspection this spring. I got technician Jay to come out earlier this week and he confirmed my suspicions. There were numerous problems with the unit that he was able to successfully fix and resolve. He also identified the caps (both of them) were missing from the unit. To me I feel this is no coincidence that both were missing - I am guessing the previous tech did not put them back on. Jay actually found one of the caps in the dirt nearby the air conditioner. Kudos to him for searching around.

Anyways, asides from last years tech, all the previous services were great and this years service from Jay was great. I wasn't able to book the service online just yet as they are still merging the systems between the two companies but was able to easily and quickly book a desirable timeslot via email with Alanah in Customer Care.

I will continue to use Furnace Family for my air conditioning service and hope to get Jay again next time as I know I will have a qualified and professional tech when he is around.

Wonderful experience getting a air conditioning installed the guys were friendly and helpful. The sales guy was no pressure really nice to deal with the other guy we had from a big company was a total high pressure jerk.

Reached out to this company after reading reviews. I was able to communicate via email which was easiest for me as I work shift work. The staff got back to me within a decent time frame so I didn't have to wait long for a reply. I was also able to set up an appointment fairly quickly, even though we had to reschedule, I was notified within a reasonable time frame. The service technician was on time and pleasant to deal with. He answered any questions I had and was informative. I also liked that this company is supporting the food bank so it gave me a chance to contribute without leaving my house.

Nov 6th Furnace Family arrives makes assessment gets to work to help repair my furnace that was purchased from another company and installed back in March 2020 and has been a problem from day one.
Stephan takes last minute call on a Friday shows up gets parts and bring my furnace up to code for ventilation brings many more missed items to code. This is my first review and I am happy to recommend Furnace Family and specially Stephan Bourque, meticulous, knowledgeable and great customer service oh yes and the first affordable Company I have called. Loads of companies to choose from, I highly recommend this one Furnace Family, get it done right the first time.
