Galaxy Karaoke

Good vibes and clean rooms. It's a little on the pricier side for karaoke so it isn't really a place you can spend an entire night at.

Music and being alone in life is always my escape when it’s all too much and this place provides both of my needsthe noodles are the best too so feel free to visit a 100% recommendations from me.

I love the place. I had so much fun. It will be more fun if you guys update the song list because we couldn’t find the new popular songs (artists). Thank you so much

Nice place and average prices. The biggest room is nice though it’s open to all the other rooms that a lot of people wonder around. Drinks are good

This place would be awesome if it had a decent bar food & drink menu and quality dishes but we still go for the karaoke and just order drinks. Usually the karaoke experience is great but last time in the middle of our booked time the system just shut down and we lost our whole queue of songs. When we asked staff what was wrong they apparently rebooted it. They could at least warn us so we didn’t lose time putting our songs in the queue. Not professional at all.

There's was a good group of people there. We went for a friends bachelorette! Staff was friendly and there was a lot of song choices. Drinks were more expensive than used to but they were delicious.

They have these separated party rooms that you can do group karaoke in. It was a blast! Great service

Don’t waste your time here. Machines don’t work. We got our refund and left. Throw this entire joint into the dumpster.

Service was bad. The karaoke machine is designed by an idiot, it's virtually impossible to use with any fluidity. There should be a printed guide in the room of how to use it properly. Usually karaoke bars give you the room for free if you have a minimum spend in food and drink, not here. The main person there was suoer standoffish and made us feel like we were not welcome. Essentially, unless you are Korean, there are better options in the city for this experience.

Garbage. Tablets barely work. Service is lousy. Took us 30 minutes to get a song playing and they didn't even give us that time back (we paid for it!) Not enough songs on their catalogue. Speakers are loud though.

Poor to no service. Did not offer us any waters when we entered the room. If you want drinks, it’s technically self serve since there are no waiters - only busboys. Likewise, if you want napkins, you have to go up to the counter. Priced as a premium karaoke place, but compared to other karaoke places in the city (Bacchus, sole), this place ranks at the bottom overall. That being said, the other karaoke places waives the karaoke fee if you spend a certain amount on food/drink - galaxy karaoke does not. In other words, galaxy is the most expensive karaoke place in the city yet what you get in return in terms of service and quality, is sub par and pitiful. To top it off, they make you pay before you start your karaoke session which is unheard of. Furthermore, the man that was at the front was rude and brushed us off when we had a concern when they wanted to charge us extra hour for showing up late. Seriously, this place should be a last resort if the other places are closed. Save your money and book the other places before coming to galaxy

Terrible service and we didnt get our money’s worth. This place overcharged us! We paid for a bigger room but we got the small one instead.

Booked a room for 7 people, but showed up with 5. They told us they still have to charge us for 7 people and my party was iffy about it but understood that it’s probably due to the rooms. They gave us a room that couldn’t even fit 7 people, and I know this is not the biggest room they have because i’ve been here before, but if you’re going to charge us for the two extra people that didn't come, then you better give us the room we booked and paid for. Place used to be great and was less pricey compared to other places, but now price is unreasonable for the experience that you get.

Great experience, could use an update on the music but other than that a super fun spot. Jennifer was amazing, along with the rest of the staff. 10/10 will be back!

Went there with a large group, they double charged my friend. Admitted fault. Wouldn’t refund the extra charge and said go to your bank.

With that said it was still a mediocre and overly expensive karaoke bar

Rooms are clean, great audio quality, accommodating and upbeat staff. One of the best karaoke experiences I've had in Calgary!

Guys, don’t think if your customers are drunk a bit they can’t understand what they ordered. After ordering the dish the owner tried to convinced me that the right ingredient was there even though it wasn’t. Omg shocked… hope will not see you again
