Can't say enough great things about Preet, Jon and the team! I've been a client, both corporate and personal, since 2015 and truly appreciate everyone at this firm! I can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review, I swore I wrote one 7 years ago, but here we are! This would have been just as true when we first started working together. Robin and Katrina who work alongside Preet and his team are always incredibly helpful and wonderful to deal with as well. Thank you all! I'd give you a 10/5 if it would let me.

I have been the type of person to do my own taxes in previous years. I always thought that if I am capable of doing it then why should I hire someone and pay higher fees for this service? As a commissioned employee there are certain expenses I can deduct and it seemed pretty clear what numbers I had to plug into the turbo tax software. Turns out I left a little money on the table. The end result was a higher return with no headaches on my end. I can also verify this was a higher return because I actually plugged the transactions into the turbo tax software to get a rough estimate on what to expect. Preet is awesome to work with and an even better guy away from the office. He definitely proved to me the advantages of hiring an accountant and I look forward to working with him for years to come!

Preet was fantastic answering my question regarding tax penalties for RRSP withdrawal and running a likely scenario on what additional taxes would be paid next year. Robin was very friendly and prompt when setting up the meetings. Top notch service. No pressure advice.

I was recently looking into purchasing a second property to use as a rental and I needed help from an accountant who could fully explain what the tax implications would be. I worked with Preet Sandhu and he was absolutely excellent. He answered some of my initial questions over email and then set up a time to talk further over the phone. He really wanted to make sure I had the answers to my questions so I could make an educated decision. In the end I didn't purchase the second property and that was due in part to the help Preet gave me. After understanding the costs associated with the property, and the tax implications, I was able to make an educated decision and see it wasn't the right move for me. Thank you very much Preet for taking such excellent care of the people who come to you for help.

Preet is my go to accountant! He definitely knows his tax law and keeps up to date on all the newest changes. I trust him with all my sensitive business info and have sent many business colleagues his way.

This company is not worth one star. They are overpriced. When the economy went sour I had to change bookeepers as they are very overpriced. I called to let them know that business was currently slow and to halt on bookkeeping services for a while. I instantly received an email from Jon demanding that I pay my balance immediately even though I had already made a plan with another employee. After that rude email I hired another bookkeeper and then another accountant. 2 years after I received an invoice via email stating that I still owe money. I had not received a bill as I was paid in full. They are withholding info that my current accountant needs. If they screw up their own bookkeeping by not billing companies for TWO years, this story tells it all!

I was referred to Preet from a work friend. I'm extremely happy with the quality of work from the team. I'm look forwards to using Gallo and Co next year!
