Gangnam Street Food - Kingsway Mall

The kimbap was just okay. To be honest, I would say It's a bit expensive despite it's in the food court. However I will try again next time because there's no kimbap place other than this place in Edmonton. The pork cutlet was actually really awful. It's the worst taste to be sold. I felt like I wasted my $16 for the terrible pork cutlet ever. Normal pork cutlet is made with bread crumbs for crispy texture. This place was just. I don't know. It was not so good.

Very rude and racist workers. This girl in the cashier was probably pissed because I have to call her attention to look after the cashier as it was unattended, not too busy but both workers were at the back. Once my order was dispensed, I was waiting to be asked which sauce I’d prefer as previous customer was asked and served and I did not assume I can just grab whatever at the counter, not a word from them and just looked at me and was told you have to do it by yourself. Poor customer service, will not recommend.

Great experience, always hits the spot when traveling down south, would recommend to anyone who wants Korean corndogs

Wow, it's really yummy, I ordered K-rice bowl with Bulgogi sauce and rice drink, and it ended up I didn't notice that I finished the bowl (totally empty, not a single rice left) added to, affordable price and friendly staff, everything was awesome, great exp!

15.50 per plate should have tasted good.
Didn't leave a tip so maybe that was the problem.

The food is good, but this is the 5th time in a row that the tapioca in the cafe mocha bubble tea is straight up hard as a rock. The tapioca is consistently very hard for the past few months. Very disappointing

I had Kim Bab for convenient eating in the car. It looked okay but they didn't make it tight so every time I ate, all the ingredients inside came out. Also it wasn't cut properly. Every time I picked up the kim bab, the seaweed was connected to the other and it opened. I couldn't eat a single decent one. It was a food that had no reason to wrap the ingredients with seaweed because the ingredients came out every time I ate it. I don't recommend this place.

Slowest service. Waited 20 minutes for an order of corn dogs. There was no one else behind me and 1 other person ahead. Very disappointed.

I love the variety of foods that are given and it really exllores the korean cuisine! I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to further their taste pallet! Gangnam forever!

Slow service. They don’t even want to get my order. 2 customers behind me walked away because they were waiting too long

Poor time management. I work in the mall, and 3 days in a row I tried to order from here but everytime I'm waiting 7+ minutes before someone even take my order.it's extremely frustrating when I only have 15 min breaks

The service was excellent and the individual who took my order was super kind and helpful! Will definitely be back!

I love the location in the south side however this location is a bit weird.i ordered a corndog today and politely asked the lady working there if i could have a straw and she said “we only give straws to customers” after I said i’m obviously a customer she told me “customers that buy drinks”… very rude.

My go to is the gangnam fries! Tteokbokki is good but it gets boring for me so I like to eat with the gangnam fries cause it has cheese and meet. I wonder if they can develop Korean Street Toast one day. I also had boba twice. One time okay. But 2nd time the boba pearls were too hard. So I recommend you trying it first before you go just in case you want it remade.

First time I went here the customer service was amazing almost as good or better then but both so good I feel guilty picking 1 or the other. Will be back to support this place especially with staff like him.

Thumbs up for sausage mozza and sweet & spicy chicken bite. I will definitely come back for these!

Delicious street style Korean food. The corn dogs are delicious and well portioned. Staff was very friendly and the service was excellent. Definitely my favorite choice when eating at the Kingsway mall food court.

This restaurant is my preferred one. I go to plenty of restaurants but here I constantly return again and again. The team is very warm and the cuisine they serve is so appetizing. I never decline to have a good dinner in this place. I highly recommend this place.

I had the honey mustard chicken and rice combo with a bubble tea. The tapiocas felt like they weren’t cooked all the way through. Once you bit in it, the middle was quite dry.

This spot never disappoints. They have great food for reasonable prices, there is no waiting time even when they are packed.

I am happy this store reopens. My favorite is Sausage Mozzarella Corn Dog
with the best combination of sources. Awesome.

Disappointing. Ordered the bulgogi beef bowl and chicken bites.

The chicken was heavily breaded and over fried. Sauce was ok but could not taste much of the chicken as it was over cooked.

Rice bowl was not much better. Food was not hot in temperature. Rice was barely warm, beef bulgogi was ok but also served barely warm. The noodles and vegetables in the bowl together with the rice and beef were unsatisfactory. Made me wish I ordered food from the Kimchee Korean two stalls over in the food court.

Would not recommend. Not sure if the two young guys at Gangnam Street Food have actually been to Korea, but it made me miss how good the street food is in Seoul, and much cheaper too!

AN INSULT TO KOREAN FOOD, the bibimap bulgogi, was a big clump of meat, it wasn't sheredded or seperated, not fresh, soggy wet veggies.obviously pre cooked, no explanation to what the other dishes or what's in them, just names. I give 2 years tops or until the lease runs out. Good luck serving this to Edmonton patrons. One bad dish, I won't bother trying others. Such a poor execution.

I’m really glad to hear a new location is opened! The store is clean, all the staffs are nice, and most importantly food is amazing here! My favorite is potato hotdog and I highly recommend you have it with spicy mayo and honey mustard sauce:)

Congrats for the Grand Opening! So glad to have the opportunity to try out the new store at the Kingsway mall, we are glad to have great Korean restaurant in the kingsway area!

I got the tuna mayo kim-bab and it tasted okay, but definitely not worth nearly 9 bucks. The potato hot dog I got with it was awful; the batter was entirely raw. I regret every penny i spent here.

100 percent satisfied! Authentic Korean street food. Cup-bop and cheese hotdog are my favorite.
