The food taste good for the first few bites, then it just doesn’t. Found it pricey for the quality if food. I requested a cheese corn dog and the staff mistakened my order for just cheese no dog. Made it a big deal when I requested what I ordered.
I've eaten here before in the Windermere neighbourhood because they have a location there but I tried out this one because it's right next door to my work and it's really good and fast.
You can also save 10% when you order online on their website for take out which is a bonus!
Ordered four different kinds of corn dogs with sauces and a beef bulgogi poutine. Tastyy!
Yummy authentic Korean food. The only corndog I eat BUT the girl at the counter today whoo was also the girl who served us last month is rude, strike 3 already. Very impolite, we have never seen her smile at all
The service was okay, the food was great. However we asked to stay in and we needed a to go container and they charged us for it even after spending $60. Robbery. Otherwise it was decent
Delicious and soooo fun! The staff are so nice. We ordered corn dogs, bulgogi, and ramen and they were all really delicious. Even my parents loved this place:)
Food is good and served fast and hot. Just sad they don't have ice as I like my drinks very cold, but it is no big deal. I personally enjoyed the corndogs and love the idea of the availability of different sauces available to be tried on. Our dine in experience is so pleasant. We don't feel rushed, and the place is clean. Will be back for sure!
Absolutely love the cheese corn dog, as I am vegetarian I don't easily find vegetarian options in corn dog but glad I can enjoy it from this restaurant. Also the other options are there in vegetarian though less but you can try they're all nice.
Food is good. However my pick up order was incomplete. When I tried to make contact about recieving a refund for the item I never recieved I never recieved a response or a refund for the missing item. I would not reccomend since clearly they do not care to fix their mistake.
Gangnam is one of my go to kfood resto but today I encountered a really bad customer service, usually the staffs are really nice and friendly. The lady who was there during that time was really rude, she’s not just rude to me but to others as well. I saw one of their customers grabbed one of the sauces on the counter and she aggressively and shamefully told the customer that she can’t use that and that it is only for the people who bought corn dogs. Like ok? Y’all could’ve put a sign or something and could’ve handled that situation in a friendly way without shaming your costumers. Anyways definitely not returning into this location, very disappointed on how they treat customers.
The place is clean.the staff are very nice and inviting. Food are very good. We order the ramen and its spicy. We enjoy them and the price are good as well.
Food is excellent. But weekend staff is kind of rude. Their body language shows obvious signs of impatience. Deep sighs showing that I'm too long to pick the right thing. I wasn't long actually. Just wanted to get the same meal as me previous visit. During the weekdays is very different though. I'm done going there on weekends.
The food was amazing. Definitely interesting to have ketchup and mayo on Coleslaw, but it's actually good! The rice is nice and sticky, chicken is cooked perfect. The price for the dish size is good value too.
So I made 2 orders last night through skip and the first order was made incorrectly by the company then I made another order, go to drink it, and it tasted like chemicals! There was a young lady who took my order over the phone, she was quiet rude and arrogant towards me because they got my last order wrong.not impressed o e little bit with this location.
Ordered on doordash and apparently you have to ask specifically for cutlery. Common sense should tell you basic fork/spoon/chopsticks should be a default. Am I supposed to eat this with my hands? Messed up my whole appetite.
The boba is hard like stone, for goodness I did not give it to my grandma, if so she must have ran to the dentist for missing tooth, Don’t give the uncooked boba or expired boba to the costumer, we don’t not pay 5 dollars for stone’s
I had the bulgogi bibimbab and the potato crusted corn dog. Bulgogi bibimbab could have been more hotter, temperature wise. Some items such as the mushroom and zucchini were cold which was unpleasant. It could use some more flavor and an egg to finish it off. Now, thee potato custes corn dog was just amazing. Fresh, crispy and delicious. The sauce added a nice finish to it and just tastes great. Price was very good and good service.
Ordered through Skip the Dishes, and am enjoying every bite of the Bulbogi Bibimbab rice bowl (my favourite out of what I tasted tonight). The sweet soy chicken bites had a nice thick sauce and the breaded chicken pieces were still crispy when they arrived. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
Gangnam brings a unique and impactful approach to food that I have yet to see in the Edmonton food scene. However, the food is in incredibly small portions (it is street food ofc), so I suggest only coming for a snack instead of a full meal (unless you want to pay +$30). My favourite was the Cheddar Corn Dog.
Small portions so everything is a bit overpriced. However nice place to come with your friends, I love the pork belly and corn dog. Others are in the middle to me, I don’t dislike them but I am not obsessed also.
Great place to get some "Korean street food". Prices are reasonable for Edmonton and there's a good variety to choose from. Portions are small but that just let's you try out more things on the menu! The only main downside was that seating is quite limited. But overall, I enjoyed my meal there.
Hashbrown covered corn dogs, canned drinks with the term "sweat" in them (tastes like grapefruit coconut water), and sweet & spicy breaded chicken.what more could you ask for. My only wish is a better understanding of exactly what I was ordering from the menu. It was all tasty, but I am still wondering what the little noodle filled nuggets that I ate were.
10/10 would go again! I lived the gangnam fries, bulgogi kimbab, the mozza hotdog, and everything else I had. Can't wait to try the other items on the menu!
The service was very good and quick and the food was 7/10 but the prices seemed quite high for what it was. With my girlfriend we bought kimbab, korean hot dog, ddak gang jung and chicen skewers which came to around $27 but both of us were still hungry and had enough room for a whole meal.
