Great local plant shop! Friendly, knowledgeable and lots of variety (during the right time of year)

Spring 2023 purchased greenhouse parts. Stacy was super awesome with ideas and practical experience.
Fall 2023 picked up a few seed packs for some indoor projects.

Bought two prayer plants on sale (bogo). There weren't any tropical varieties left, I think it's because it was end of season. Lots of choices for plant pots, there are different sizes, colors and shapes. Will probably come back next year during spring season.

Amazing customer service with reasonable prices for great quality plants. I mentioned that i had a cat and they helped me pick safe pet plants which was very much appreciated. Would definitely shop here again!

Amazing service from an amazing staff and owner! Purchasing and setting up my new greenhouse from Garden Retreat was a breeze and an absolute pleasure. Set up was quick and put together in immaculate condition by Steve and Stacey, and on top of that, they are extremely knowledgeable! All of my questions as a first time greenhouse owner were answered with great ease and confidence. I could not have asked for a better experience! Thank you Garden Retreat, I love my new greenhouse!

This is a fantastic garden store. I would definitely recommend skipping the likes of Home Depot or Lowe's, etc, and go here for plants and garden needs.

Love this place, they have all plants I need every time I go. And today I was helped by a teenage boy who was very kind, friendly and helpful. He greeted everyone and helped carry items to cars. I offered tips but he didn’t take. Would like to say thank you so much for the Garden Retreat and the young man.

I found the Garden Retreat web site and immediately put a note to stop in the next time I am in Calgary to visit the kids. The items I was wanting was just too expensive to ship. The selection did not disappoint, staff was very welcoming and friendly. Even my wife enjoyed the visit to the store. Good job GR, keep it up!

The place is very clean and the displays are beautiful.the staff was also very helpful for me as somebody with no knowledge on plants at all.the selection of pots and plants is phenomenal.strongly recommend this place for any plant enthusiast anywhere in the city.
