Had a great time working With Brett at this dealership. Even though I didn’t end up purchasing my car from here, he was so helpful and easy to get ahold of at anytime. Never felt pressured to buy anything and he was informative of the vehicles. Definitely ask for Brett if you can when you visit!

I had the greatest experience with the Service Dept at Gary Moe Hyundai. My car had a flashing engine light in Stettler while I was on holiday's and this was the closest Hyundai dealership. Eric was kind enough to pick the car up at Gary Moe's and deliver it to Red Deer. Chenice was amazing & kept me up-to-date throughout the whole procedure. They definitely went above & beyond to get my car fixed as quickly as possible - only two days from picking it up in Stettler to being back on the road and getting on with my vacation. I would highly recommend taking your car here if you're looking for excellent customer service.

Had a wonderful experience! Most painless and smooth experience in financing a car. I'm used to it taking weeks and so much back and forth but they had it all done within 2 weeks and the only hold up was mind end or it would have been done sooner. Thank you to finance and to Trevor and also johnnie. Gary and greg.and God bless front desk to taking my non stop calls the past couple days.

Do not trust their automotive department, was quoted $4K worth of repairs, went and got my car reinspected twice by 2 other shops and found my issue was only a single issue costing $600

Nils was excellent; customer service is superb. I went around dealership in RD but he’s the only one who followed up with me. My needs were met and I didn’t have to wait that long to get my car. Thank you.

I just asked for details about the unwanted packages you were forcing me to buy but you instead offered to refund my money rather than sharing the details or modifying the packages to suit my needs.

It’s clear that all you care about is higher profits even if it is through unfair means.

***The worst customer service I have ever experienced ever. Bought a new 2017 Elantra from Gary Moe Hyundai a few years back, the day I took my car off the lot was the only day I ever felt valued as a customer or person to them. Fortunately, for years my dealings with them was few and far between.

Until One day my engine was impaled by the connecting rod, catching fire while on the hwy. Something that happens often to Hyundai engines. There was no issues with my car leading up to this incident so was very shocking.
Hyundai Red Deer was initially empathetic with the situation, that was until they realized I had just recently passed the KM for my warranty; Hyundai Canada wouldn’t give me the time of day afterwards, even with dozens of calls and hours on hold.

Red deer Hyundai came up with a solution to replace the lower block, with the promise to pay 1/2 in goodwill. As a single mom who couldn’t afford much this was a godsend, truly felt like this horrible situation could turn around. They assured me it would fix the issue at hand. Unfortunately it did not. Thus began the weekly or even daily emails/phone calls from Hyundai Red Deer explaining why yet again the repair price was growing.

I decided to attempt to go thru my insurance, to help pay. Hyundai Red Deer reported to my insurance that the incident happened due to my own poor maintenance. Another shocking moment as my maintenance was nearly perfect. This resulted in my insurance company withdrawing any assistance. Even with an alarming amount of evidence that this exact engine problem happens to 100,000’s of Hyundai engines. There is a current class action in the states regarding my same issue.

No loaner was ever provided, or even offered. When I inquired the man pretty much laughed at me, and said because my insurance wouldn’t cover it and because it wasn’t covered under warranty they had nothing to offer me. Which made commuting to work and driving my kids places very hard. But it was not their problem. The only time they acknowledged this reality of not having a vehicle, was when they attempted to strong arm me into purchasing another vehicle with high interest.

After 8 months going back and forth with them, trying everything I could to not have to pay a minimum of $8,000 dollars out of pocket; I offered to sell it to them at a low price… pretty much anything to walk away from this. I finally gave up. Honoured my agreement to pay a very large amount for the lower block and had my car towed away. Hoping to find someone to repair it.

It wasn’t until this moment they informed me that because of the goodwill warranty they offered for the lower block, that covered 1/4 of the overall cost, that they would be keeping the damaged engine. I fought with them over the engine but they soon won that fight as well.

My car remains unfixed a year after the incident; with 16 months left to pay off the loan. Hopefully soon after I will be able to purchase another vehicle finally. No where near Garry moe anything of course.

The service manager Dean was by far the kindest person I encountered at this location and seemed empathetic to the situation. But that did not do anything to help the situation. He told me multiple times this was an unusual situation and out of his hands.

I just bought my Kona N at this dealership and loved every minute of the experience. Their team is friendly, accommodating and patient. As a single gal I appreciate they did not try to take advantage of me and found me a car that perfectly suited my and my needs at a great price. I look forward to working with them for years to come and I would highly recommend purchasing through them. Big thanks to Trevor who helped me through each step of the process and made shopping and purchasing relaxing and fun.

Edit: After many years of great service, I felt like it was worth another review for Gary Moe. We are now on our third vehicle with Gary Moe, and have never had a bad experience. We use Gary Moe for every service. I feel that their service department is excellent and they always keep me up to date on what is going on with my vehicles. They are quick to get me in for servicing appointments and respectful and knowledgeable about my vehicle. I will continue to be loyal to Gary Moe. I stress less knowing I’m in good hands with Gary Moe.

While looking for a work vehicle to lease for my husband, we checked out Gary Moe Hyundai and were impressed with their honesty and transparency while dealing with us. They were easy to talk to and didn’t pressure us into anything. They made looking for a vehicle an enjoyable experience, something I’m not accustomed to.

I took my vehicle to get serviced yesterday and I had a wonderful customer experience. The rep.by the name Shanice went above and beyond making me feel cared for. I felt extremely grateful leaving there and definitely gained my trust to come back in the future as my vehicle definitely was well taken care of.

Brett was extremely helpful and spent a lot of time to find the best option for me. They gave me use of a loaner vehicle until mine was ready. They’ve encouraged me to return anytime if I need help and I’m going to.
