Went to test drive a new family car. Spencer was amazing and the crew here have been a treat to deal with. Ended up purchasing and have never felt better about a vehicle purchase. Spencer was super honest about everything from the features to what will be worth it and what isn't.

During the recent cold snap, my vehicle's engine light came on and I didn't want to risk breaking down with kids in the car. Gary Moe VW was able to accommodate us immediately and diagnosed the issue and resolved it very quickly. I had the peace of mind for the drive home! Thank-you!

Bought a used vehicle from them just about 2 months ago. Vehicle only came with one key asked for another with no response from Sales guy. They replaced the brakes on it before I got it. Now I’m having issues with them. Talked to the Sales Manager and he won’t do anything for me. I don’t recommend VW.

Took my VW for an oil change, they know I’m waiting, and they don’t take it back to the shop for a full 25 min past appointment time, that ticks me off a little. I requested please no car wash when I booked but obviously the lack of communication between the front desk and technicians led to a wash.so that made what should have been a quick 45 min job stretch into more than 2 hours. Totally unacceptable.

The service manager acts like he has zero people skills, and is in the wrong position. Is he shy or just doesn’t like to deal with folks? This was my second interaction with him and I was very underwhelmed.

Then when I got home I received an email from Gary Moe VW telling me about a promotion to get $50 off an oil change if I call and book! Well why wasn’t I offered that when I was standing there at the debit machine an hour before? That is not cool at all.

I've just received a call from the owner apologizing for what happened yesterday. He said they will be making some changes and seemed very sincere. I am happy he actually reached out and will give them another chance. So I'll give back two stars.

These guys are the best! Mason, John, Tracey, and Travis worked to get me my car on time, as promised, with very little hassle and much help.

Giving myself 1 week to find a new vehicle before starting a new job, I checked out most of the car lots in Central Alberta. Volkswagen was up front about everything and helped me transition into a new vehicle smoothly. Greg, my salesman, went above and beyond to make sure everything happened quickly and I was on the road with my new Tiguan 1 day after making an offer.

Very friendly and professional! Made test driving east and choosing a vehicle even easier. Had the car detailed and inspected within a day and picked up the next! Greg was very easy to work with and very transparent!

I traded in my beloved Subaru sti for a brand new Tiguan since I was needing a more spacious vehicle as our family continues to grow and Costco trips are weekly. I absolutely love my new SUV! Does anyone actually work in parts? Worst customer service, long holds, get transferred from reception, to service, back to reception and then maybe parts will answer their phone or they will take your name and number and never call you back.

We just had the best car buying experience with Travis at Gary Moe VW. Hands down the best experience we've ever had purchasing a vehicle. We wanted to check out two different vehicles at two different lots so he made sure they were both at the VW location for us. He answered all of our questions, didn't pressure us at all, and made sure we were happy with every decision along the way. All of the staff at Gary Moe VW were fantastic to deal with! Seeing the owner only responds to 5 star reviews should say enough about this company! Anyways 1 star is being generous. Wish I could give 0 stars to this service department. Tuesday we get a call to follow up with the car appointment for Wednesday. The mess started Wednesday woke up at 7 had the vehicle there for 8am like all planned. 2 hours after dropping the vehicle off we get a call conforming the appointment for Thursday? What!? We dropped the vehicle off and the appointment was for Wednesday. Alright skip to Thursday we get a call and the vehicle needed a extra part and they were going to fast ship it to have it early Friday morning and to have the vehicle done Friday. Alright that's fine. Friday comes we wait till about 2pm to get a call saying the vehicle won't be done till possibly Monday now, but we will try for 5pm Friday but more then likely Monday it will be done at the latest. So now you're telling me I don't have a vehicle ALL WEEKEND before Christmas? Had to rent a vehicle that cost $200 for the weekend (so that's nice). Now comes Monday finally fed up and just wanted to get our vehicle back. Guess what? Yup we get told "it will be done tomorrow" seriously we have heard that 3 times from you guys. I know a mechanic who said it would of taken him 2 days at most to complete this job. So if you want your vehicle to be held hostage and keep getting phones calls and hearing "tomorrow is when your vehicle will be ready" take your vehicle here. Waste of time and money. Will never be back again.

Andrew was fantastic to work with. Treated us like family from the moment he met us in their parking lot. We drove up from Calgary to look at 2 trucks and he had them both cleaned and waiting on their lot when we arrived. Finance was very informative explaining all our options and giving us ample time to decide what we wanted to Warrenty on our truck; very relaxed atmosphere. I would highly recommend them. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone! I brought my car in to the service department in May 2022 - I STILL DON"T HAVE MY CAR BACK! I understand that parts are taking time to come in, but this is beyond ridiculous. The Service team changes the time frame of when parts were to arrive weekly - I have been told they will arrive in week 32, then week 36 and now its up to week 44. I have been without a vehicle for 5 months, yes I could trade it in, but I WILL NOT PURCHASE FROM ANY GARY MOE DEALERSHIP!
I worked in Service before for another dealership, and we would always go over and above for our clients - VW doesn't care. No Loaner Car was offered, and when I asked they said there was none to be had as their sales team had sold theirs. SO GET ANOTHER ONE! I asked about putting in after market parts.till the other one comes in - and I didn't get anything back from the service manager. People cannot go without their vehicles for this long.

Phyllis always takes care of everyone sitting and waiting and always keeps my grandkids happy with balloons and drinks while they sit and wait with me.

2022 Atlas bought new from Gary Moe, wish we would have bought a Toyota. With under 4000kms on odometer our rear sensors in the bumper were in alarm and not working. The tech found that rocks had damaged the wiring harness and the rear sensors in the bumper as none of this was protected, thus the repairs in excess of $500 are not covered by warrenty. We don’t live on a gravel road or drive on gravel, this is from the highway spring time roads. I then called and emailed vw Canada about the damage and they said the dealership has the final say and that they agree its not covered under warranty for the poor craftsmanship. This is also the fourth issue with the Atlas that we have had while under 4000km’s. I believe 90% of the blame here rests on the dealership and 10% on VW Canada for not acknowledging the problem (I currently know of three other Atlas’ with this issue).

What an amazing team this is. Went in for pressure loss in my tire, found out there was a nail in it, and today was the only day they had a bit of time to do it as i was travelling the next day. Due to my work schedule, there was no way i could wait till they were done, so they offered to drive me to work and came back at my lunch time to pick me up! And all this while there is no service but they made it work! I cannot express how thankful i am for their help and accommodation, so glad i purchased my vehicle here!

Andrew is no doubt one of the best sales agents that I have come across over the years. He has gone above and beyond to achieve my satisfaction. I have had gone to various dealerships here in Red Deer, Edmonton, and Calgary and none of them treated me with respect or decency that we all deserve. All tried to pressure me to buy something even after I’ve told some of them that I was not interested. Andrew on the other hand does not pressure you into buying something, he provides you with all and any information that you may require to make an informed decision and lets you do just that (decide for yourself). Nine months ago, I had an oil change & a turbo plug. Was happy with service.
Fast forward to last week, brought my VW back, due to an engine light came on. I was told I needed a brand new turbo & a waterpump for $6000. Got a 2nd opinion, since I'm not rich or naive. Found out it was none of those. Found a real mechanic shop & all that was needed was an air intake pipe which was blatantly broken, as well, 2 of my spark plugs were lose. I guess their 30 Pt check missed those too. They may sell cars well, but, dont expect a real mechanic to properly diagnose, or, communicate. I was told it was too dangerous to drive, & I can apply for financing for the $6000 in repairs that had nothing to do with the real problem. Definitely don't recommend their repair services! Tech couldn't answer my questions, was left stranded, & the scare tactic, super unimpressed with entire repair experience.

Best buying experience I have ever had in my life. Tracy Chris and Jaden all treated me and my wife very well got me into a brand new golf and found exactly what I wanted. Quick and easy didn't feel like other dealerships. Super friendly and was so easy. Highly recommend this place!

Great experience buying a certified pre owned car from Jaden. His non-pushy, laid back sales attitude was definitely a huge bonus, it was a pleasure throughout the whole experience. We bought from out of town and Jaden even organized to have the vehicle shipped up to Edmonton for us. I would definitely recommend them.

I was Searching for a good used truck that wasn't well over its average kilometers for it's year but mechanically sound and decent body as well. I looked for over two months. Not just in Red Deer but also driving to and from Edmonton and Calgary. I wasn't having any luck. Chris Carriere actively keep me informed of new inventory to their lot. Not like other dealerships who I often had to continually call to make inquiries about new inventory. This truck just arrived and after talking to Chris the night of Thursday July 9th I had it home by Saturday morning. Quick, and painless experience. No pushing for a sale. Just ol good honesty. We had some mechanical issues very shortly after taking possession, but the sales department dealt with it extremely well, and the service team did a fantastic job getting it back on the road for us quickly. So far, I have nothing but great things to say about Gary Moe Volkswagen and my buying experience. We bought a 2020 VW Atlas Cross Sport and we've been exceptionally happy with it. The buying experience begins the second you walk into their beautiful showroom. Our salesperson was Mike Duong and I was a bit surprised when he told me he was new to the business of selling cars because showed so much professionalism and with a exceptionally high level of product knowledge. He was very accommodating by allowing us to take this new car for a 3 day test drive. In our experience not many dealers will do this. When we'd finally made our decision the buy this car, Mike was very thorough about introducing us to the Sales Manager, the Finance Manager, and the Service Advisor. They all take a very active role in the selling process. Mike even took us on a tour of the tire storage area and the wash bay. We were so impressed by how clean everything was. And to top it off, Mike delivered our new car right to our doorstep. All in all, we are very pleased with Gary Moe VW, and its entire team of professionals. To be honest, VW wasn't even on our list, but that changed the second we walked in the door.

Even though we were dealing on it via phone, text & emails Chris was patient, especially while we were in the decision process and stayed in touch without being pushy. He was great to work with as was Brook Wells in the Business Office to complete the sale.
After we took delivery of the car there was a mechanical issue & Chris jumped in to assist in getting it corrected. He coordinated the repair with Stefan Fischer in the Service Dept.to get the matter resolved. Stefan kept us informed & updated as the car was being repaired & the work was even completed ahead of the expected pick up date.
