Gas City Campground

Very well maintained! Top notch management. Stayed for a few nights in the Summer of 2023 and thoroughly enjoyed the environment. Great place to stay and enjoy Medicine Hat and the surrounding area.

Since it's in city limits you'd never know about this little oasis.

Very clean and quiet. Friendly and easy accessible sites. Pre book on line and there is no wait at the gate. I will book here agai

Great campground, close to highway 1. Felt safe. Friendly and accommodating staff. Front office has a small “convenience store”. Firewood $12. Has shared kitchen area if you need it. WC/Shower very clean, multiple throughout campground which was impressive. Appears family friendly. Sites are decent size. Not much privacy but didn’t need it, only there one night. Lots of RVs, some campers. Would stay here again when passing through.

Close to bike track and beautiful trails on the hill side. Nice and quiet, my family had a wicked awesome time

Pros:
. Good location; close to Highway 1#, a river and a bridge, the scenery was good.
. Campground was decent clean. Trees around sites with shade.
. A dog park next to the campground. Good for dog owners.
. It's easy to book online.
Cons:
. Like most city campground, all sites no privacy.

Très beau camping bien entretenu avec beaucoup d'arbres. Grand terrain. Personnel très gentil. Près du centre-ville de Medicine hat. Piste cyclable époustouflante, à faire absolument jusqu'au parc Echo.

One of the nicest municipal campgrounds I’ve ever stayed at. Meticulously clean and well maintained. The management team was professional and helpful. Very quiet considering it’s right in the city. Massive dog park and mountain biking park nearby. We’ll be back.

This is a beautiful Campground. Tall shade trees, neatly mowed and trimmed.
Easy access from the highway. Easy to get into and out of sites. Clean restrooms. Wonderful staff.

Even tho we were in the Overflow the service was great and the travelers we meet we awesome. Great location as a home base to see the area.

What a gem of an RV Park in Medicine Hat! Clean, very well looked after with all the amenities, such h as laundry. This was a bonus as we had been on the road for over a week.

Nice campground in the City of Medicine Hat run by the City. Sites are large and level. Lots of trees for shade and close to an off leash area for dogs.

We checked in and no wifi near our spot. Asked about AT office and very nicely said that they. (Now understand NOTHING)
Two hours later the fellow next to me and him go to the office and we are told it's not his fault and we need to stop bothering him. (we were here two nights, I don't believe anything will be changed, but it does look nice on the post across the street)
We have been here before and great wifi.

We stayed at many campgrounds during our trip and this was hands-down the nicest one.
Yes, they irrigate every night so if you place your rig properly, you're good. And of course it's the irrigation that helps make this campground very pretty and the trees look healthy and well-spaced.
The sites themselves are also a generous size, the picnic tables look new-ish, the washrooms and showers are large and very clean.
Everyone followed the rules so vehicles moved slowly, quietly and the campground was quiet at night.
We would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly when I called to book a campsite, and very accommodating. Campground is clean, with washrooms and showers. Had a full service site, which was also very clean. Their firepits are awesome! Would definitely camp there again.

Beautifully maintained campground in the middle of the city but fully mature trees with plenty of shade and mowed grass between sites. Sites are gravel and level. Nice fire pit. Bathroom and showers are spotlessly clean. One shower has been having problems with hot water but otherwise great. Good WiFi. Great cell service with Verizon. Located a few minutes from every big box store you can imagine including a well stocked Walmart supercenter.

What a lovely place. It’s such an easy stay and the weather is always great. In medicine hat.

Other than the girl at the front desk our first night who was super condescending this place was awesome. Way bigger than expected. They have all hook ups which was not stated on their website. The views are great. But best of all are all the epic bike trails and a bike park right beside it! The kids had fun while we took a break from our cross country trip. Very clean too! We would come back:)

Not that good.every night the sprinklers are spraying my rv.cant sleep properly.its the.whorst ive seen and im a traveller and ive been staying. In lots lots campground over the years never experienced such unprofessional business.
I don't recommend to stay there.even tho the campground is well looked after.the campers are not

The sprinkler system drenched our chairs and tent even when located on the prescribed site. Very disappointed.
