We went here during the Holidays 2023, and my partner is visiting from Vancouver and she really enjoys this "era" we had a lovely time. We took loads of pictures and the staff was really attentive. I also liked the fact that the parking was free for 90 minutes.
Great place to spend some time in a chilly day. Can in on remembrance day. My Father in Law is retired military so they let us all in for free which I thought was really nice.
The staff here are all so nice and happy to help.
The exhibit itself is really well thought out and the vehicles are all beautiful. If you’re a car buff or a historian it’s a great place to visit.
A place to spend an hour, it is very small. The entrance is cheap and adjusts to what you visit. A couple of photos and there's not much more. It is worth it if you are there for many days and have a day without doing anything.
Ohhh DO NOT miss this place when you visit Calgary. It is simply magical. It takes you back in time. One can easily spend a few hours with the family here. I'd definitely visit again next time I'm in Calgary.
Surprised to see this place after my first visit nearly 20 years ago. I’m glad I got the opportunity to come by for an event (yes! You can rent this place for an event!). Lots of cool historic items, the cars are awesome to look at.
Love seeing all the old cars! Such a simpler time. I'm definitely gonna visit again. I only wish I had more time when I went as I got there at 2 and the park closes at 5
Cool museum with a large collection of antique cars called Gasoline Alley Museum. Staff of volunteers was very friendly and willing to share the history of the exhibits. The place is part of the larger Heritage Park Calgary. Great for kids and adults. Very nice place to visit with the family. Something for everyone. Price of admission is fair for how much you get to see. Come prepared to walk a lot, this is a large park with many places to visit.
Great little museum with some beautiful and amazing one of a kind cars, there are a few cars you will never see except for in Gasoline Alley, great historical automotive timepieces, highly recommend
Great space to have an event. Don't forget to get cheese buns from the rail way station. They are arguably better than Glamorgan baker's famous cheese buns!
Wonderful collection of vintage cars, trucks and gas pumps. They also have a great collection of vintage and rustic spare parts, and have associated good knowledge articles which help in traversing back to the older times. There is a kids section as well where they can cycle, play on tracks and color.
This was a highlight of our day! It was the biggest (2 floors of a large building) and the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. I usually think once I have seen something that's good enough but I would definitely go back to this exhibit. Our granddaughter (20) loved it too so it was a special time together sharing what I remembered about riding in some of the cars. Thanks for the memories!
The Gasoline Alley museum at Heritage Village Park is more of an antique automobile collection than a traditional museum. However, it has an extensive collection of old cars, trucks, gas pumps, and other automobile-related paraphernalia than is a must see for the car nut in your life.
Put this place in your must-see if you are a car enthusiast! You will need half a day and good walking shoes as this place will keep you occupied for hours. Make sure to set aside the whole day if you are taking your kids with you since they have few activities, with the heritage free train ride being an outstanding experience.
