Great assortment of pet supplies but the staff are not very friendly. The pharmacist staff are very knowledgeable and helpful but definitely feel like I'm interrupting them whenever I ask questions about anything.
They had a stamp program for the dog food I purchase going for 6 months before anyone told me about it. I'm just never impressed with the customer service here. It's the only place in edmonton that carries the dog food we like. So we will put up with the sub-par service.

I usually love this place, they have awesome deals and with several dogs - we drive out regularly from Red Deer to stack up on foods.
Dog food was advertised as $20 a bag. When they scanned it in, they said it was not -$20. We were buying in bulk so that is not what we were looking for. So I mentioned it was advertised at $20. The lady came with me and double checked and said I was correct. I asked if I could still take them for $20 since that is how it was advertised and she said she would grab another employee. He came by and said ' absolutely not! ' I was kinda flustered with that since his tone of voice wasn't very pleasant. I wondered why, since I mentioned ' the scanning code of conduct policy '. I was ignored and got a passive aggressive ' have a good day'. I quickly paid and got out of there. To see that certain things where double scanned.
Since it was an 190$+ receipt I went back in and asked another staff member to check on this. It was a girl in a cow print vest, she was incredibly kind and helped me right away. With a refund of the two products that where double scanned.
To only come home and to see 2 more LABELED products scanned in differently - more expensive.
As much as I used to love it there. Do not recommend, rude and false advertising. (and mistakes do happen. But own them ;) ).

I used to recommend to all my clients. But I’ll guess I’ll go elsewhere.

Great place to pick up anything you need for your pets. They are able to receive prescriptions direct from your vet. Great team of knowledgeable people who love animals.

They always have what I need in the pharmacy, and have cheaper dog waste bags then I have been able to find anywhere else.

The staff who work at the pharmacy are so rude in person and on the phone. They need to work on their customer service skills.

I drove from across the city because I had heard such good things about this store from my cousin. It ended up being a complete waste of my time. I left empty handed and upset: (
I was going specifically regarding vaccines for my cats. I have 2 and my mom has 2, so expensive to get them all vaccinated at the vet. I’m a nurse so I’m fine with giving the injections.
My short experience was absolutely terrible. I went straight to the back corner where the actually pharmacy is.the fella that was at the counter who was trying to help me was very rude and made me feel very stupid. I asked about the feline leukaemia vaccination and he looked at me like I was an idiot and sounded shocked that I asked about it when he told me they didn’t carry it.
Secondly I asked regarding mite treatment as one of our cats was diagnosed and treated. So I wanted to treat all our cats and Dogs prophylactically. Told me I needed a prescription from a vet.even if all that was true which I have a hard time believing.he was horrible at his job and completely miserable.

Yes, I will admit I should have probably called and got some more information before making the drive.

I would have stayed and shopped around at all the other stuff but I was actually so upset I had to leave.

Great experiences going here for dog supplies. Food is often at a much lower cost then anywhere else. Staff are great and always welcoming. Highly recommend for any pet owners to check out.

This place was so cool Everything Imaginable for Pets Needs, and Every Pharmacy Need as Well. Fabulous Place. I bought a gift card there for a family member who lives nearby.

Because we live far away from G and E, the equine staff are very knowledgeable and always willing to look for sizes and prices for me. The curbside pickup is fast and easy

Prices are cheaper and the staff are very willing to help in anyway they can. They will find ways to help u even if they don't know what to say, they will get someone to help you. Good variety of dog foods!

I go to G&E to pick up insulin, but always leave with some other 'treasure! ' This time it was greeting cards, jasmine sticks and puppy biscuits! So much to choose from!

Was at G&E again today and once again had an awesome experience!
Didn't catch her name, but the lady with the homemade bell earring, was wonderful when helping me pick out a glucosamine product for my daughter's dog, and also treats for him!

This store has such a variety of things, it makes it really easy as a one stop shop for everything from my cats' special dietary food, to vaccines and supplies for my horses, to dewormer and toys for my dogs. Staff are so knowledgeable and prices are competitive

Has Lots Of Stuff For Pets. Pet Pharmacy Right In Store and They Are Very Knowledgeable About All Pets

G and E has everything you need for any pet you have. If for some reason they do not have it in stock they can get it in fast!

Wonderful specialty pet store. They have everything you need from horses and chickens, cats and dogs, to birds and small critters. They even have a pharmacy! Highly recommend any animal guardian to check it out!

Just for service at the pharmacy Christian the person that served us not once but twice happened to be extremely rude! Both times he treated us completely stupid as if we are 2nd class or below him wow Hey Christian it's time you took some courses on customer service and life skills wouldn't hurt I'm sure you understand the word manners? Good start using some. I hope you get demoted to stock boy so you can work in the back where you won't have to talk to customers my goodness what a horrible experience you and your co worker with short blond hair and glasses she was also extremely ignorant and snapped at us in front of 2 other coworkers that also were horrified about the way we were treated they put my daughter's and myself through the worst experience, god bless debra.

Lots of product and great staff. I go there to get dog food and they were out one day. The guy that helped me not only put the food on hold for me when it came in, but also gave me ring to confirm it too.

Pet friendly pharmacy that's surrounded by a cool pet store with unique mix of quality, fair priced products for your dog, cat, or horse. Lots of cool stuff and knowledgable staff.

Lots of selection, fair prices, and a family-run, local business. Vet prescriptions are way less expensive here than at the vet itself. We are regulars here and rarely go to any other pet store.

Such a blessing to have as a alternative rather then the vet and or as a store to get all of your pets needs!

Unless the weather is extremely hot and dogs can’t be left at home or in the car, I don’t completely understand the need for everybody to bring their dogs in with them? I LOVE LOVE LOVE dogs, but they don’t come in to pick out their own food, so I think some are brought in just to be shown off, I’m not sure?

Either way, the aisles are a bit narrow to get around in there when it is busy, with all of the people and their dogs in there. I also feel bad for anybody that may have an allergy to dogs‍️

A great place for all the care and feeding needs for your pets big and small. Both a pet supply store and pharmacy. From rodents to horses they have you covered.

Good source for a lot of novel protein pet foods. I think this is the only store that carries grub cat and dog food. They also have farm animal, and small animal food, so it's almost a one stop shop for me

First time going there, had a customer in the store swear by a certain brand of dog food for a very picky eater. To which, I was actually amazed at how much my Roxy enjoyed that brand. Definitely going back! Love the variety of treats for her as well.

I am trying to find a food that my cat will eat and stop being fussy over. I found some new canned foods here and spoke with someone about cat food, and she was very helpful.

This place is awesome! The sheer selection of things is mind blowing, then add in the fact that they're cheaper than everywhere else. Love this place!

My favourite pet store! So many good treats and toys and amazing dog food selection. Decent prices too. And a local business! Gets busy in there at times so if you are covid-cautious like me you might not want to go at peak operating hours. But other than that this is my go-to pet store!

The name of this shop can be confusing, yes it's a veterinarian pharmacy, but it's also a HUGE store as well, with a lot of pet products. This is my choice retailer for anything pet related. Parking is plentiful, and there is lots of helpful staff.

Love this place. I live in victoria bc now but when ever I come to edmonton I always make sure this is a place I come back to.

Great store with a large variety of items for every sized animal. Even some items for humans to use! Plus they have snacks at the checkout for people and their pets

Everyone was friendly and helpful! I reduced the stars because the aisles near the pharmacy are very tight. Not a lot of space to distance and turn around and I felt a little claustrophobic. My dog does well in crowds and is well socialized but I think this spot was too chaotic. Won't be bringing him in next time but I would definitely go back because of the friendly and knowledgeable staff!

Always great selection of everything. Staff is very knowledgeable. I could spend hours just looking around but I would be too broke. You need anything you get it here. Keep in mind there is usually a line up. Saw a sign said that they have online orders and curbside pick up available now.

There was a time you can phone the pharmacist to ask questions and not be treated poorly.like all things I guess those times are gone.

Picked up some chew treats for my dog. 2 days later he had a bad cough. Wondering if it was transferred through the treat from dog in the store. Staff is helpful. Place is always busy.

I went in to pick up some refill meds, there was 3 customers walking around the store without masks on. One of them told me to mind my own business for simply backing away from them when they walked closed to me. I was talking with the staff at the till and said that I understand it’s tough to enforce mask rules, I was cut off mid sentence and she said “we have a sign on the door, and it’s JUST A BYLAW”. She then told me when she is not at work she refuses to wear a mask in public. As a Pharmacy/business this is unacceptable. If you have any health concerns/high risk avoid this place at all costs.

This is our "go to store" for everything dog. Carries our dog food. Carries all the dental wipes and water additive we use. Love the atmosphere here. Staff are very helpful.

Staff was polite but uninformed. No one offered help. I had to search through the store for the product I wanted because they didn't know where it was or if they carried it. They do-shampoo with salicylic acid

What a great store! Yes, there is a pharmacy but there are so many other things available there. If you have pets or livestock this is the place for you!

One stop shop. G&E has absolutely anything you would need for your pet. All pets are covered and they have a great selection. The place is located within a pet friendly neighbourhood with Pet Boarding / Daycare facilities in the area. One of the best is 2 blocks away at Little Paws Inn.

The ladies and gentleman that helped me in the store were amazing! They were polite and professional and friendly! They even went beyond to help me out with a feral cat that I want to help in my neighbourhood! Thank you so much for helping me out! You guys are Lifesavers!
