They don't have a clue what they're doing and customer service was trash. Extremely disappointed. Not dealing with them again.

Poor Customer service. It was alright when you could go into the store and talk to a Best Buy employee about it, it is now phone support only and they couldn’t tell you the difference between a laptop and a rock.

Been trying to get my tv fixed for 2 months now. On repair came 2 weeks after the secdualed appointment. Replaced the motherboard and the TV has the same issue but its worse now.
After about 8 months and 3 different attempts at repair, I was finally issued a full refund.

Didn't get any proper help in fixing printer I will try to go in best buy and talk to somebody over the counter because I have a membership with them for about 4 years extremely not happy I spent over 500 dollars on the purchase of the printer

Do not buy this plan. If you need to use it, they charge you what your phone is worth just so they can ship you a temporary replacement, in my case that's $ 1572.00, then you still have to pay 200$ for the repair of the screen. Once they've had your phone for as long as they'd like, then you can have your 1500$ back. Terrible service, never again will I buy this terrible plan.

Currently waiting for 49 minutes for billing to answer the phone.
Finally answered after 53 minutes, for only 2 minutes conversation. I was advised to just visit the store to cancel it because I am still within my 30 day period.

Went to Best Buy today to cancel my plan. I used the remote set-up as part of the plan, so basically they will upload software's in your computer, which includes set-up of the bitfender and acronis (if you know how to install software in computer, you can do this). One female staff called a male staff to help for the cancellation. The male staff told us that if we cancel it, we will pay $150 since we use the computer set-up remotely plus any discount we get from our purchase.

So once you get the geek squad protection plan on time of the purchase, and used the set up software service and realize that the plan was not worth it. You have no choice but to keep it or they will rip you off.

Really disappointed with thier service. It's all front! When they offer you the service it's full of beautiful deals, when you make a claim nobody wants to talk to you and the promises are not there anymore - you even eded up paying more! This is a scam. I've been paying religiously every month for 2 years but ended up being disappointed!

Got a phone 2 years ago with their coverage plan and my phone had two defects from the factory so I wanted to get it replaced with a new one only a month after receiving the phone. They said over the phone that once I sent my phone in with the package they sent i would receive a new one in two weeks or less, I got MY phone back with a new screen on it because I had dead pixels in the screen and the headphone jack didn't work properly. When I got my phone back I thought it was new and that nothing would be wrong with it, but when I tried to use wired headphones i realized it was the one I had originally sent in because the jack didnt work, like yes it recognized there was something there but it would cut out and be very quiet. I had tired calling them numerous times to get the problem resolved and all I was told is I didn't have an account with them. Obviously I was upset but I worked with it but after it wasn't covered by the manufacturer my account was in their system again but I would have to pay for the repairs. I'm upset about the costermer service because not only did I call multiple times, but when I called to have it replaced I was speaking with a very rude man that hung up on me without saying he wouldn't be helping me anymore it was too time consuming to be dealing with a rude person and rude company when I was told a replacement phone would be sent out after they received the one I had originally. Yes I did check if the serial numbers matched out with the box the phone came in. This company I believe is not all bad but should be more helpful to their consumers that are paying for their services not to the one in Best Buy in Red Deer they were phenomenal but whoever's I spoke with on the phone was terrible.

Geek Squad has cost me my marriage. They have caused us so much stress. Better luck at the VLTs at the Jackpot casino then getting decent service from this joke of a company.
Wouldn't trust these people to run a bath.
The people working there must be higher than the cost of living.

Geek squad is a scam. I’m not even going to entertain this with writing paragraphs on how terrible that business is but it needs to be removed from Best Buy all together. Do not buy in, you end up paying more than you would ever save— and they’ll screw you over if it doesn’t completely fit guidelines.

Horrible to deal with!
Phone (pixel 3) was always randomly turning off. I had to return the same phone 3 times before they actually gave me a new phone. The 1st time they sent it back to me stating there was no problem, the 2nd time they stated that they fixed the problem (which they didn't), 3rd time (now I'm really angry) they sent me a new phone. Just another crooked insurance company. I won't be getting geek squad phone protection ever again.
I also waited on the phone for over an
Hour each time I requested to return the phone.
