Gem Cabinets

Gem played a major role in our recent kitchen / family room renovation. We were extremely pleased with all aspects of Gem's performance - design and quoting (Shaelee) ; pre-installation inspection (Peter) ; installation (KJ) ; post-installation inspection (Peter) ; countertops (Myron) and final inspection (Vijay). Communication was clear and eveyone showed up as scheduled. Wonderful experience.

We recently did a kitchen pantry retrofit as well as changing the existing fridge opening to a retrofit for a built in fridge in our new home. From start to finish it was a very positive experience. We worked with Pam to come up with a design to meet our needs. She was knowledgable, professional, and patient. She worked with us to get the design just right, and patiently sent us many updated revisions until we were satisfied it was the way we wanted the space. We had an issue with the cabinet above the fridge that didn't visually work for us when it was installed as we thought it would. When we contacted Gem to discuss this concern, we were asked literally "what do you want us to do - we want you to be happy". They worked with us to get it right. We were so pleased that the customer service bar was set so high at Gem. From Pam to Chris (scheduler) to Scott (installer) the professionalism was fantastic. We are so happy with the end result of a beautiful built in pantry and fridge. Would highly recommend Gem Cabinets.

Gem went to the extra effort to make sure my fridge was trimmed out nicely for a custom kitchen. Would definitely work with them again.

We recently did a complete renovation of our house including replacing our kitchen cabinets, family room wall unit as well as all our bathroom cabinets. We dealt with Danielle Pasaluko. She was a pleasure to deal with. We knew we were in great hands with Danielle. She was very professional, knowledgeable and responded quickly to our many questions. This was not a standard kitchen renovation as the cabinets had to be installed on a large curved wall. Although this project was somewhat complex we did not have one issue with the cabinets and even though the kitchen cabinets were installed on a curved wall everything fit perfect and installation went flawless. I cannot say enough good things about Danielle Pasaluko and Gem Caninets. I would most definitely recommend using Danielle Pasaluko for any cabinet needs you may have.

Why would someone order a cabinet shop that the panels need to be cut to size before assembly? Wait 12 weeks for a custom order that's not custom?

16 weeks and counting on the cabinets I ordered, staff leave by 445 when the store is open till 5, very hard to navigate and get ahold of people when trying to contact manager, /staff.

We worked with Kristin. From start to finish she was phenomenal. Highly recommend! Amazing attention to detail

Had quality work been done we would not be at this point.
Very poor workmanship by the installer.

I contacted Gem Cabinets for assistance with a kitchen drawer that had started to come apart when opening. My house is seven years old and Gem Cabinets was used by the home builder. Andreea in the service department was so helpful in providing videos that showed me how to replace the broken parts if I had wanted to do the work myself. I opted to have someone come and repair the part instead. I was advised that some of the pieces have been discontinued, but they went above and beyond to locate parts for the drawers, and gave me extras in case I needed them in the future. I was booked in for an appointment very quickly; Eric arrived at the scheduled time and was very professional. He fixed the drawer that was broken, another drawer that was starting to show some wear and tear, and even checked all the others in the kitchen and bathroom to ensure they were in good working order. I am so happy with the exceptional service I received from everyone at Gem Cabinets. And the fact that it took seven years before having an issue with a drawer that is used daily, is a testiment to the quality of their products. I highly recommend Gem Cabinets and would not hesitate to use them in the future!

Kristin Leachman was very helpful from start to finish. Even going the extra mile of making follow-ups to other materials handle by other vendors. Worth recommending.

Ryan at Gem Cabinets provided an amazing service! His prompt email communication and store service were top-notch. He exchanged the damaged door cabinets free of charge with no hassles at all. It’s a very good company if you need cabinets! Koury and his team are professionals and they take the time to explain and answer all the questions you have! They are on time and they work conscientiously! I would highly recommend Gem Cabinets for all your projects!

Bought a place with already built in kitchen from GEM cabinets. The place is brand new and no one was living in there.there was no harmful chemical used cleaning them. Solution of water and vinegar was used to wipe finger prints and stains from food.
Unfortunately, there was a very poor wood staining done and when I contacted office for touch up kit, they said sure it’s $20. Alright. Picked it up and the wood stain was spilt plus it’s not easy to apply on wood for touch up. It is different colour, not matching, it applies darker and gets patchy.

Gonna have to repaint the kitchen at my own expense as this is annoying to look at. I thought it was prints when I was looking at the place and kitchen in it. Nope, it’s poorly done job which frustrates me every morning. Look at the pictures. Nothing has been done to the cabinets. It’s their original look from gem cabinets.
