People at the scale were helpful. Explained how the pricing worked and where to go in the yard. Most organized yard in the city! They said shredder will be running soon for cars and white goods

General is now my favourite scrap yard. They showed me where to go and explained everything. They also paid better than the other yards I went to before. Also lots of room compared to other yards. Cant wait until they are shredding!

Best place to bring copper wire scrap steel! Staff always friendly and service is excellent. They are building a new recycling plant that will recycle appliances and less going to landfill. I found out today that they also sell new steel

We brought a load of scrap metal to the yard today. After we had unloaded the metal, we drove over to the office only to be told they would not pay. They waited until the metal was in their possession before refusing to pay. Not only will we be taking our scrap elsewhere in the future, we will not be coming here for steel purchases either. This is the most unprofessional outfit we have dealt with.

Can someone please tell me where on the web does it say you have to be there a half an hour early in order to drop off anything on Saturdays? !? I drove from out of town, arrived literally at 1 on a Saturday, only to be told "theyre closed and that i have to be there at 1230 because all the equipment is off". Very inconvenient
