Giant Tiger

I'm from Lethbridge and I miss giant Tiger so much. I'm glad there's still one in Calgary:)

A very good place to get all of your immediate and later household needs. The staff are friendly and helpful and the prices are easy.

Great store lots of items with lower prices, food and clothing as well as cleaning staff

Yesterday my bestie and I attended at Giant Tiger. I had to use the bathroom, Sam helped me get into the bathroom with humorous conversation and a smile. I found some really cute items of clothing that were reasonably priced. There was a promotional offer, with their membership; spend $60 on apparel, get $10 off. I wanted to sign up at the till to take advantage of this great promotion. The cashier said you must go home and do it. I have data and cell phone. I downloaded the app as the sign said in the store. The app kept kicking me out. Frustrated, I went to customer service. I explained what was going on. The cashier looked at me blankly and said, “I have no idea why it is not working. ” More frustrated! Next enters Sam, a true blessing and internet savvy employee with understanding of the difficulties with the app. Sam told me just to go to www address and I could sign up. Sam is a blessing as a person and a very very very valuable employee. Sam saved the sale, as I was going to walk without purchasing because of the lack of basic help that was given. Sam was polite, courteous, attentive, empathetic and professional; completely opposite of the other two. Sam is an employee that deserves a managerial position as she knows how to treat people, problem solve, think on her feet and train others. Sam is a gem.

Things here are either super expensive or fairly cheap. I find their clothing prices really did not match the aura of the store. Any clothing item over $10, I was thinking.could find this elsewhere for the same or lower price and better quality.
