I have moved so many times with many different companies but this time is by far the best experience. The two men were not only fast but they were very meticulous with the packing to make sure our furniture was protected. Everything was handled with such care. I highly recommend Gilbert’s Mountain Movers to anyone who wants the job done right!

Gilberts Mountain Movers did an unbelievable job with my move. I've moved many times, and used various movers; Gilberts was by far the best! The three movers who came (Uzezi, Wayne and Emmanuel), arrived exactly on time, and were professional, friendly and fun to work with. Everything was safely wrapped up, and all items we're placed in the house exactly where I needed them. They even put my bed, and bed frame together for me (without me having to ask).

I highly recommend Gilberts Mountain Movers to anyone planning a move (I will certainly use them again).

Recently used Mountain Movers to relocate outside of the City. They were referred to me by a real estate agent. This was my first time using movers, having always packed and moved my belongings myself. Both Daniel and Tejade were extremely personable, hard working and made this experience far less stressful. Their sevice was spectacular! A small hiccup re: admin/paperwork/invoicing but Ken was very gracious and helpful. Ken got everything sorted, great communication and he clearly explained the situation so that there werent any misunderstandings. Max, Gary, Daniel and Mikael were great. I had a very heavy piano and they moved it without any issue (in a small place with stairs). My whole experience with Gilbert's Mountain Movers was great and I would highly recommend this moving company.

These guys are amazing! This is the second time I have used them and amazing both times! They go the extra mile…. Friendly and they work so hard! Worth the money which is very reasonable btw. Mats put down, runners on stairs, they wrap things that aren’t wrapped and stack like Tetris utilizing every space in the truck, they take their time with your things … I won’t use anyone else now. Impressive!

I don’t have enough wonderful things to say about this moving company. We initially moved out of our house in September and needed to store all of our things until our new build was ready at the end of March. We have lots of art which we hired them to pack. This had to be done to the specifications of the insurance company which Mountain movers followed to a T.

Once we got everything out of storage it was all in pristine condition. The staff was so pleasant to deal with, the guys moving us were very professional and worked very hard to make sure everything was perfect.

We were so impressed by their work ethic I would whole heartedly recommend them for your next move. You will have no regrets.

I felt assured and taken care of from the time I started my booking estimate and up to the last minute of my move day. The company was very responsive and were able to accommodate my complicated move, the movers showed up on time, very professional, showed up ready with all of the tools and materials. There was no detail too small or item too big for them to handle, they let me know about wrapping and packing certain items. I will book with them again and highly recommend them

Charlie and Shelby were great. When presented with the problem of our extra steep driveway they immediately came up with a plan and finished the job like they said they would. All of our boxes arrived in great condition and they took extra care with a particularly heavy art piece. This was by far, the best moving company we have ever used. Highly recommended.

Frankly, I have had experiences with other moving companies which were terrible. However, this group were professional in every way. Arrived on time and ready to work. Set my expectations. We just moved 3 days ago using Gilbert's Mountain Movers and it was the best decision I've ever made. A team of 3 showed up on time, and worked their butts off moving our big, heavy furniture. They were very polite, and super careful with our stuff and our walls. Hopefully I don't need to move again any time soon, but if I do, I'll hire them

Steve and his team handled my move and did a fantastic job. They were able to slot us in for a flex/afternoon move which I was so appreciative of since it was just me and my wife potentially moving during the week.

They took great care of all of the furniture and someone manoeuvred a large TV console out of the basement which was impressive.

Me and my mom moved into our new condo yesterday with the help of Chad Joey and Nigel. They were absolutely amazing! Beyond kind and extremely helpful and quick. Our move took way less than we expected with how efficient they are. Patrick, Isaac and Gus helped us move our things from our home into a storage facility in Calgary. They were wonderful and very helpful. We have used GMM twice, once for residential and once for commercial. I have used many companies before but GMM is OUTSTANDING! They are super responsive from the moment you ask for a quote, they communicate with your at each step throughout the process, even confirming timing the day before and day of the move. They are very friendly, super professional, really accommodating, and their movers are efficient and provide above and beyond service! I HIGHLY recommend them.

Our realtor recommended Gilbert's Mountain Movers. We have moved several times over the years and in each case we used companies affiliated with a large national moving company. We were initially a bit concerned about how well a smaller local company would perform. However, when the estimator from Mountain Movers came out to our home and explained their processes our confidence increased. From start to finish, the processes were very similar to what we saw in previous moves. The estimator worked with us to develop a plan and schedule. Our move went smoothly. The teams of packers and movers functioned well as teams and worked very hard. Everything went smoothly. Communication from the office during the move was excellent. I got regular calls to let me know when teams were dispatched or to check with me on how things were going. My wife and I were impressed with the service.

I am over the moon with my experience with Gilbert’s Mountain Movers. I did research on Reddit for a reliable moving company in Calgary and they were mentioned multiple times. I really feel like I ended up making the best decision by choosing them. In the lead up to the move they were so communicative as well as informative about what was needed to prepare. On the actual day the movers arrived, they were friendly, efficient, prompt, and very transparent. They moved about two rooms worth of furniture in a very reasonable amount of time. They even took apart a bed and reassembled it in this time frame. This is exactly what I hoped it would be. Thank you for your service! I can't say enough good things about this team. From the sales crew, to dispatch, and to the heavy lifters, these guys went above and beyond. Whatever questions we had, they answered. Whatever concerns we had, they fixed it. All while being incredibly professional. Before being loaded on to the truck, everything was tagged and recorded and anything not in boxes was wrapped. We also especially appreciated that the moving crew was very polite and friendly and didn't use profanities. Thanks again for the incredible job done.

Didn't use them but someone across from me is with their vehicle truck name. They do not seem to know how to park inner-city with partially blocking a garage or half of the alley.

3rd great experience with this company. Jeff, the owner, is all about customer service. Offered to do a virtual walk-through with me to give an estimate. Answered all my questions, and was very easy to communicate with. The movers; Josh, Nigel & Wayne - did a great job! They were quick and attentive. They showed up on time, and did not take a break till we were completely moved. Wrapped everything up nicely with care. They completed the entire move below the estimate. Great company from top to bottom. Highly recommended!

Started off really professional the whole experience and the movers did a great job as well. Noticed one of our TVs was broken about a month later (you only have 48h to submit a claim we found out after wards). It took a bit to get a hold of them because COVID and all but after Jeff the owner still did more then we expected them to do. I think they might of changed some policies now and I recommend you checking any valuables right away.

Amazing experience moving to the mountains! These guys went the extra mile, they easily loaded our entire life and got us into our new forest paradise despite the crazy driveway and frozen ground. These are the people you want to take your life out of the city. They came highly recommended and will be my recommendation to anyone in the future. We could not have done it without them. Moving is stressful and having professionals that feel like family made this the best moving experience I have ever had. Now we have time to enjoy our sauna right out of the gate.

The entire team at mountain movers are exceptional in customer care. Our move had some unexpected delays but Jeremy, Brad, Steve and Bruno are the finest in the business and they made sure we were taken care of. Integrity goes a long way especially during a move and Mountain Movers did not disappoint. If we ever have to move again we will be contacting these guys first.
