Wow! These guys are amazing. Kevin, the front desk team, and the service techs are all top notch. I went in for a second opinion and an honest conversation because my truck was diagnosed by a dealership to need a new engine (I've never been to Glen Meadows before but Kevin and his team were highly recommended). After spending A LOT of time with me, and reviewing all of the potential roads I could take, I left knowing that I had just had a very sincere and open discussion regarding me and my truck. Within an hour I decided to pull the trigger and called Kevin back to go ahead with a new engine as it made the most economical sense (crazy, but today's pricing for trucks is insane). Their team got on the phone and searched everywhere to get a new crate motor but it appeared to be back ordered into oblivion with no eta's even possible. The next day they continued to search and a miracle happened; one lone engine was available and they grabbed it for me! After the engine showed up, they got my truck in the same day and stared immediately. 4 days later.done! 4 days! Clearly the techs here know what they are doing and it runs perfect. I was really nervous about installing a new engine, but it's been almost a week now and I have not had one single issue. I HIGHLY recommend Glen Meadows for their sincerity, frank discussions, and super skilled techs. I will be back, and I will tell anyone who wants to hear my truck engine story how pleased I am. Happy customer.

Last week was my first experience with Glen Meadows. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I definitely would. Vehicle would not start. Tow truck driver recommended Glen Meadows. I called Glen Meadows to see if they had time to look at. I spoke to Noel who was great - he advised they were booked but I could bring my vehicle in - it would be on standby and would be worked but could not give a specific time which I was completely understood. I was just happy they would take my vehicle in. Vehicle towed Monday evening. Tuesday morning before 9: 00 am I received a voice message from Noel advising the battery needed to be replaced. I called Noel, he provided me all the details, pricing, etc. I advised Noel to proceed - by mid afternoon Noel called advising car would be ready to go in an hour. Thanks to Noel and Technicians I had my vehicle back in working order - greatly appreciated.
Exceptional customer service and fair pricing. I will definitely be back for any future work needed on my vehicle.

The staff at Glen Meadows Auto Service are very professional, kind, courteous and offer optimal customer service. I booked my car in for a regular service appointment. Of course, the car being a little older, required some repairs.
Noel and his team, took the time to explain the repairs needed for my vehicle in great detail. They then went above and beyond to assist in checking as much off that list possible, without breaking my budget. Being hit with unexpected repair bills are always a nuisance, but Glen Meadows Auto service and their efforts made it an easy process. Then to top it all off, my car was detailed to the very last speck of dirt! The interior is immaculate.

I went to Glen Meadows for the first time to top up my engine oil and it’s the most worse experience I ever had with someone. The guy on the front desk was racist and layer at the same time.

Not recommended.

They troubleshooted and resolved an intermittent electrical issue in the cab of my truck that required disassembling the dashboard to get at the wiring which I am sure was not fun. This was done with a very reasonable amount of labor hours/cost.

I had my brakes done and now my daughter will be riding safely in the car. I was pleasantly surprised to know that the brake pads have a lifetime warranty which was promptly emailed to me after being serviced. Thanks guys!

I brought my Subaru in two days ago for a seasonal tire change, oil change and 40-point checkover (and our Honda Fit was there last week). I have brought both our cars to them twice a year for these services since 2013 when we moved to Calgary from Ontario. I initially selected Glen Meadows as my garage because they were and still are a full service garage, give the vehicle a complete inspection with recommendations that I've always had every reason to trust, and offer a loaner car when needed. I've stayed with them for the past 10 years, and have never been disappointed with the people or the service. Five stars without hesitation.

I took my car to Glen Meadows for an “out of province inspection”. I was shocked when they reported back to me my car failed the inspection. My car is a newer model and has been routinely serviced by the dealer. I started to wizen up when Glen Meadows said they had a solution and it would only cost me $2500. I passed on their expensive fix and took my car to a different auto service where my car easily passed the inspection. I even disclosed the alleged deficiency to the second mechanic.

I brought my vehicle here, due to some problems with the AC system.

They made sure to fit me into their busy schedule. They worked to find a short term solution, and also a solution that would be a permanent fix. All the mechanics and associates were very honest and helpful.

My AC is blowing cool again, and I thought the price was very fair. I would be happy to come back.

If you are looking for somewhere completely trustworthy and skilled to get your vehicle serviced/diagnosed/fixed- you’ve found it! The people here are know what they are doing, do a great job, and are absolutely LOVELY to deal with. I have referred everyone I know to them, and will continue to do so. 11/10, highly recommend

Glen Meadows were very accommodating. I'd bring my vehicles that required general repairs/maintenance to them. My Volvo unfortunately had a transmission issue and was advised to contact a specialty shop. Communication was excellent and service was performed in a timely manner. Great work guys.

This is a first class auto shop run by an awesome group of people. I have taken my 2011 BMW X5 to two different BMW dealerships (one in Calgary and one in Kelowna) to get cylinder coils and spark plugs dealt with and continued to have problems. I brought it to Glen Meadows and problem fixed for 1/3rd of what I had paid for a non-fix from 2 different dealerships. In my view it is important to have someone you can trust to provide maintenance and repairs for your vehicle. These guys are trustworthy and Kevin who runs the company is an awesome guy. I highly recommend them.

I’ve gone to Glen Auto for a few things over the past year. They’re an incredibly thorough and friendly staff! I appreciate their honesty and the work they do! They always explain what they see and what they think should be done so I can understand. I can always get in quickly and have things done well in a timely manner

Stay away from this place! They are very unprofessional! They did a below average job on my vehicle and ripped off my bro for $4600! One star is too much credit

Brought my car in and they "fixed"everything but the problem. Charged me over $5000. I asked them to fix the one issue and it was never fixed then said they told me it might fix it.and it was my fault. I agreed because they said it was the issue that they are fixing why else would I have approved it.charged so much money! One of those scam automotive companies! Don't go be careful!

Amazing service through the whole process of getting an out of province inspection and the necessary repairs done. I was kept up to date on every step of the process and felt so comfortable to contact them and ask questions about the inspection process needed for the province. For sure will return any time I need work done!

Great experience! I was having a weird noise that another mechanic at another shop had simply dismissed. They found the source of the noise and fixed it, and I'm so glad that they did because it could've caused a safety issue! Will be bringing my car here from now on!

The service and people at Glen Meadows are excellent. They made an extra effort to do the work on my vehicle within the time I requested. They phoned me to explain the fluid and filter replacement work that was needed, and checked with me before doing it. We have been going there for more than 5 years and find then to be trustworthy, fair and honest at all times. We recommend them highly!

Glen Meadows is the best auto place in the city! They have helped me out with my car multiple times, always super friendly and approachable on the phone and in person. They never make me feel dumb for not knowing car terminology and they also recommend cost saving options whenever they can. Go here next time you need your car repaired!

Took my truck in for work because I was lacking power and also needed tires mounted for winter. They diagnosed my problem and kept me informed and gave me a quote for the work. Gave them the go ahead and my truck runs perfect now. Definitely will be back in the future if I need work done, thanks Kevin and all your people

From first walking in the door of Glen Meadows Auto Service, you are greeted by very friendly staff! The coffee / waiting room area is great! Everyone is very knowledgeable and I appreciate that even the front desk people are licensed mechanics; they know their stuff. I highly recommend them!

These guys are masters at up-selling. Especially if you're a women. They'll try to snow you with some fancy diagnostics. Don't fall for it simply stay away.

Very nice and professional people to deal with. They give you all the information and suggest what they feel is right but are not pushy at all. I have had great experience dealing with them. I will continue to take my Ford explorer there.

Some heroes wear capes, others wear coveralls! This place is incredible! We had a tire pop off the bead on our trailer down the road and they took us in immediately! They got it popped on and got us back on the road quickly! Such genuine people! Highly recommend.

So first thing is that these guys do solid work. If you take your vehicle here they will do the work at a high level, I think you can count on that. Now the issue I have is that when I took my truck in, they diagnosed the issues and gave me a quote. I called three other places and all three quoted about $500 less. The place I took it to ended up charging me even less as all the work did not have to be done. I was quoted just over $2000 at Glen Meadows and ended up paying less than $900. It's been a few months and my truck is still running great so I don't think the work was inferior in any way. They felt that the problem wasn't diagnosed properly at Glen Meadows, not that they were trying to overcharge by $1000. Now I personally don't mind a great garage charging a higher hourly rate (Kevin will say up front they are not the least expensive) for better quality work. I do have a problem billing more time than it takes to do the job and charging too much for parts and shop fees (I have a friend in another province that owns a shop. He said it was pretty high). That, I don't agree with. So I would advise gettting a detailed quote including specific part numbers, shop fees etc.and how long the job will take. Then get a few other quotes. Kevin uses all brand name parts, not inferior knock offs, so make sure the other garages are quoting the same parts. Kevin was 90 mins longer on his quote than the others. Again, they do great work, just do your homework. Charge a higher hourly rate for premium work, but don't overcharge by adding more time to the job.

Major hike in prices after change in ownership and also tried to upsell services that were not needed. Car left unlocked overnight.

Took my car in early yesterday to fix a worn ball joint and since I didn't make an appointment they told me that there wasn't any guarantees that they would get to it as it was a walk in which was fully understandable. I was very pleased to get a call from Kevin knowing that they were able to squeeze me in and got my car back to me the same day! All the staff were very kind, provided exceptional customer service, and I couldn't be happier! Would definitely go back again!

Went to this shop because it was nearby, for what I thought was a simple fix. They ended up quoting me $400+ for job they diagnosed. I declined to have work done there, then took my car to my regular shop, Dale Adams Automotive, instead. They fixed the issue for $78! Enough said.

I was having some issues with my brakes and decided to drop my car off at Glen Meadows Auto Service because it was really close to my home, as well as all the great reviews I read. I didn’t even have an appointment and they squeezed me in!
Kevin went above and beyond my expectations and my car is in way better shape than it was when I dropped it off! Very honest, friendly and straightforward communication.

Drove by this unassuming shop for many years. Finally brought a vehicle and very glad that I did. Every person I dealt with was extremely patient, professional, and friendly. Great value versus dealership garages. The whole place is just very clean and organized. Honestly I was just expecting more of a backyard shop but instead found a very well run auto shop that I will gladly go back to and recommend to others. Thanks Glen Meadows team!

I have driven by this business many times thinking, “I should really try them out. ” And finally, I did – and I’m very glad for it. Kevin was very helpful, friendly and honest. My e-mail enquiry was answered right away, I felt very comfortable, and everything was explained to me thoroughly and professionally. I would highly recommend them to anyone and they are now my go-to service provider. I couldn’t ask for a better experience – thanks, Kevin and team! I just wish I hadn't waited so long!

The mechanic's there seem decent and were pleasant to talk to with the exception of Jay, who works out front.
It looked like I was going to have to leave my truck there over the weekend (because they aren't open on weekends) so when I called to ask if it would be covered for anything damage related while parked outside of their shop I was told "there's about 6 signs outside that say we don't accept responsibility for problems that occur in our lot. " His tone was a little demeaning, but fair enough. They aren't the only ones with signage of that nature and who follow the same procedure. I couldn't leave work in the middle of a Friday afternoon so I called back and asked if it could be parked in the shop over the weekend (again, because they aren't open on weekends) to be safe because they are on a very busy intersection (one of the mechanics told me that there are problems with ppl breaking into vehicles there because they are very close to a bottle depot, quote unquote) and Jay told me that " there were about 6 cars in there and he couldn't promise anything". Same demeaning tone, but again, fair enough.
I ended up racing down there and met with Jay face to face to pay the bill and pick up the list of things that were wrong with my truck and he wouldn't speak to me. Like, at ALL, except to announce the price and tell me where to sign. Then while I was reading said list before signing he asked someone to " cash this guy out while I deal with buddy" and proceeded to ditch me to sell a used vehicle to someone outside.
Now I'm not a prude by any stretch of the imagination but I also work in customer service and I like to be treated how I treat my own clients, respectfully and not as an inconvenience. I also make sure I've spent enough time with them before literally chasing after another customers money.
The fellow who "cashed me out" was super pleasant and very nice to talk with, but I couldn't shake how frustrated I felt after all my dealings with Jay.
One spoiled apple plus lack of security means I probably won't be back.

Edit: 3 yrs later we gave them another chance and it went like this:
I just couldn't find the time to do an oil change on my wife's 2015 jeep patriot so she called them to set up an appointment because she had noticed a large sign out front promoting oil changes for $49.95. The conversation was pleasant enough but the employee assured her that her car NEEDED synthetic oil and it would cost around $120. Unfortunately there are zero cars on the market that "need" synthetic oil.
We will never consider them for getting work done on our cars and have shared our experiences with all of our neighbor's as we've all known each other for 20 years.

The crew at Glen Meadows Auto Service has some of the utmost amazing standards I have ever seen in the auto industry. They are company that is built on trust and integrity. I would highly recommend them for any of your automotive services.

I highly recommend Kevin & his team at Glen Meadows Auto Service. The standard of integrity, excellence & kindness that I experienced with Kevin was above & beyond ANYTHING I’ve experienced in the past 45 years of being a car owner.

I took my car in because of a sticky clutch issue, and it turned out to be a very rare problem that was not resolved with the normal solutions. Kevin reached out to his vast network of mechanics to discuss & find the solution. It did take a couple of months to resolve (due to waiting for backordered parts), but throughout that two month period, Kevin assured me that he would do whatever it took to get the problem fixed; to ensure that I was 100% satisfied with the results.

I am 100% satisfied, not only with the SUCCESSFUL outcome of my vehicle, but with the OUTSTANDING SERVICE!

I won’t be going anywhere else for car servicing in the future, and again.

I found Kevin and his team a few years ago at his other location and was instantly impressed. I happily followed to his new location (closer to my house) and their quality of service hasn't changed. I find them honest, fair, and accurate, not to mention friendly. They always explain the issues and what it's going to take to rectify. I'm sure there are cheaper mechanics out there but I'd rather not gamble on the quality and experience that I've received. I spend too much time in the mountains and pulling the trailer for family vacations to risk quality and peace of mind. I look no where else when it comes to our vehicles! Thanks Kevin and team, keep it up.

Kevin the owner and his staff are setting a new standard for thorough and reliable auto service! Knowledgeable, friendly and kind, these professionals mean every word on their sign that exceeding expectations IS their expectation! I loved how I could book a loaner vehicle for an oil change. Even further, Kevin offered to pay for a cab to get my kids to two different schools when my overdue timing belt needed to be replaced and the loaner vehicle was already booked out for the following day! Now that is going above and beyond, thank you Kevin and staff for being so wonderful!

We did an out of province inspection with Glen Meadows. The owner said we had many services needed to pass. Some of the recommendations we had recently done so we immediately were concerned about the honesty of the services deemed essential to pass inspection. We payed for another inspection from another mechanical shop and found the other shop did not recommend what Glen Meadows did. In fact they were recommending only half of what Glen Meadows was. We showed the other auto shop what Glen Meadows gave us after there initial inspection and they still said that what Glen Meadows was stating that needed replacing was mechanically sound. The owner of Glen Meadows tried manipulating tactics to get us to work with him as we felt we had no choice but to do as Glen Meadows directed, now I know we were being had. Unfortunate that one must pay for another inspection to compare and find out the truth. We did not want to make this review as we only want small business to succeed, but the evidence was irrefutable. Untrustworthy.

Response to Glen Meadows Reply: It was under my wife's name. I personally met with you twice. It was not a good experience and we would prefer to end correspondence with Glen Meadows after what was a stressful ordeal.

Phoned in to get a quote on my car, I have never been talked down to so poorly before in my life. Maybe it is because I am a women but I would never go somewhere that treats women so poorly. Heaven forbit a women knows about cars.

This business is amazing! They've got that personalized small business vibe and I love that. I've brought my car here a few times now and they never fail to impress me. They're honest, incredibly kind and they definitely exceeded my expectations.

Always professional, kind and courteous. I have two vehicles that are trusted in their care. My most recent service was completed when promised and slightly less costly as parts where sourced for less than originally quoted. I have never been disappointed.

Excellent auto body shop with a terrific crew of staff. Super convenient to do a vehicle drop off the night before and leave instructions and the keys in the night mailbox. The service people are very clear about what needs to be done and they call with an update before any work is completed. I find their prices are reasonable, they don't recommend unnecessary work and they are very clear to explain "this needs to be looked at in the future". I find them to be an honest and honourable crew and would (and have) recommend them to anyone.

Great service. Had to have an emergency wiper blade replacement on December 23rd, a day when the shop was closing at noon. Was unable to get to Glen Meadows until shortly before 11 am because of the snowstorm, only to find the blades were not in stock. Gord said to come back before noon, so I left and within 20 minutes had a call that the blades were ready to be installed. I returned and within 10 minutes was on my way again.

There were two things wrong with my vehicle; they told me one was an immediate concern, and the other could wait.
Their team's honest, hardworking, and they actually seem 'fun' behind the curtain!
We moved across the city, but I still take the drive to go specifically there for my vehicle's needs, then use the Westbrook train station to get back home. It's a 10-15 minute walk.
I've chatted with the owner on a few occasions. He's passionate about doing the job with integrity.
I fully recommend for anyone jaded by a bad mechanic's experience. They'll fix your car. They'll fix your perceptions.

This auto shop is right around the corner from my house. I took my vehicle in for a significant amount of work. I had never used them before. Despite being busy they were able to get to my vehicle quickly and I was back on the road. Very happy with Kevin, the customer service, and the quality of work.

Took my car there to get my certification. They were saying $3000 to get it up to date. Took my car to more honest mechanics, they charged me $700.

I brought my 2008 G37 in the Glen Meadows Auto and my first experience with them was nothing short of exceptional, I would recommend this place to anybody looking for an honest and reliable mechanic.
My previous mechanic changed ownership and I no longer felt valued as a customer. My old mechanic spent hours trying to identify a small leak but was unable to come to a conclusion and charged me for hours of labor.
As the months past, I forgot about the leak and I brought my car in to Glen Meadows Auto to get my breaks done and my cold air intake filter changed. They told me my air filter was in good shape and just needed a good clean so they saved me some money right off that bat! They also noticed the leak and identified it as a water pump leak, then explained everything to me including the approximate time required and expected price of repair. The breaks, leak, and air filter services were completed ahead of schedule and I was charged exactly as quoted. They also did an oil change (common procedure after replacing a leaking water pump) and replaced my serpentine belt which was in bad shape.
I had to bring my car back to them the following day as there seemed to be something wrong with my rear tire alignment/balancing. They immediately brought the car in and identified a wheel spacer that was in bad shape (I have custom wheels that require wheel spacers). They fixed the issue for me quickly and free of charge!
These guys value their customers, are very professional, transparent, and honest. I cant say how impressed I was with my experience there and again, I would highly recommend Glen Meadows Auto Service to anyone looking for a professional, fair, and honest mechanic to look after their vehicle!

I've had my two vehicles in multiple times for various repairs. I do a lot of work myself, so sometimes just ask them to diagnose. Every time they've been accurate and identified just the particular problem - never tried to upsell me on things I know are fine. One time when I got them to do the work (steering rack install), Jay at the front desk called around and got me a part discount from their supplier. Very happy to have a place I can trust that can often get me in quickly.

Just had my battery replaced there.load tested the system for free to ensure it was the battery

Glen Meadows Auto Service was recommended by a friend when I told her about the estimate of repair from another mechanic which was going to use reconditioned parts. I received a quote from Glen Meadows Auto Service which was half the amount of the other auto shop with new parts and was able to get in a get my SUV fixed.
Recently when I had back up light problems they helped me right on the spot and said they just want to make their clients happy.
This is the only auto service I will go to.

The back of my window was literally falling off of my Ford Escape and they got me in right away and the pricing structure was more than fair. Then I took my car in for a couple of tire repairs and they even lowered my cost because one of the tires did not require that much work. They could have tried to sell me two new tires and I wouldn't have known the difference. I'm a loyal customer now for sure. I drove by their funny signs for years and never stopped in and now I know they are as nice as they portray themselves to be.

Many issues;
I wish they were better but I have had far too many customer service issues with GlenDale auto. Basic oil change they say they check everything but they don’t. I drive off their lot after picking up my car after a simple oil change to find my rear tail light was burnt out and two of my fluids (windshield washer and coolant) were both very low. Two things that they’d catch if they actually did their checks.
Walk in and Asked for a quote but they were busy when I walked in so left my phone number and car repair details for call back. They didn’t bother to call.
Other time I needed a repair it took 3 days for the part to come in which is fine BUT they never told me that. Each day I called they only said parts coming should be ready end of the day. Then never called to update me.
Their online booking is bogus they never reply to actually confirm your booking.
Had another oil change they said I had a leak and needed a massive repair. Took it to dealership for second opinion and my car was fine there was no leak.
Other time I stood 15 min at their front desk yelling hello can is anyone here to help me? Is their anyone here? And I was ignored. When the guy finally came out he said - Hey! And that was it. No sorry no how can I help you.
This place does not care for their customers. Which is too bad cause instead of me going two blocks to get my car fixed by them I now drive 20 minutes away. But at least this way I get respected with customer service and I know my vehicle is actually getting that full check over.

I hate to write a bad review about any company however, I will state my experience. I took my vehicle in and we agreed on a list of items that were to be completed. I was advised that they would need my vehicle all day for the work. Twice during the day, I was advised that it was being worked on by the mechanic, I knew this was untrue as I live across the street and could see that my vehicle had not moved since the morning. My vehicle went in the actual bay and was worked on for less than 30 minutes. When I went to pick-up my vehicle, they did not have any of the work completed but they did have my invoice ready claiming of course longer than 30 minutes of labor. I would have no problem with the invoice, if the work that we agreed on was completed and the labor hours were correct. I do not trust this place based on the fact that I was lied to and charged for work that was not completed.

Great experience dealing with Owner Scott & Front end manager Jay. Great explanation of work required. Clear understanding of my automotive repair options. Price quoted is price paid. Not just a explanation but asked me if I wanted to see and took the time to show me on my vehicle. From tires, mechanical issues, maintenance, repairs, hitches & recommendations Glen Meadows Auto Service is the only ‘shop’ I will use. Fair logical pricing. Ultimately I drive all the way from Airdrie to this shop because of trust, simple as that, I trust Scott and Jay & the technicians here. -JP
