Jeffery robinson I've seen it so far. The worst treatment I received from this doctor. How did you become a Doctor? I could not understand. Avoid belittling people. You have become a doctor, but being human is a little difficult.

This place is disorganized and a good example of the fail of our medical system. Zero care of patients after surgery.

They are absolutely great!
If it weren't for them, would you be using aids I don' or didn't really need to rely on.

My visit to the Glen Sather Sports Medicine Clinic left me profoundly disappointed and frustrated. My appointment with Nicole Soderberg failed to meet even the most basic expectations of a healthcare visit.

Nicole Soderberg's persistent lack of confidence in her abilities was a glaring issue. Throughout our interaction, she continuously sought feedback from her supervisors, eroding my trust in her expertise.

To compound the frustration, Dr. Soderberg sent me for an X-ray, only for me to discover that the department was closed. This oversight added unnecessary physical discomfort as I limped on crutches in vain. She did provide an apology and suggested I seek X-rays and further tests elsewhere, but this left me without guidance on managing my condition, the primary reason for my visit.

Despite taking 800mg of Advil for my pain, I received no medication or prescription for immediate relief.

In the end, this visit proved to be a waste of time, exacerbating my pain rather than offering solutions. I am left questioning the clinic's effectiveness and professionalism.

I strongly advise against seeking care at this clinic. It reflects poorly on its founder, Glen Sather, and the University of Alberta for hosting such an underwhelming healthcare facility. My experience raises serious concerns about the clinic's commitment to patient care.

My visit felt like discussing a haircut with a barber, paying $120, and then being told to go elsewhere for the actual haircut. It's an unacceptable way to treat patients seeking medical care.

During my recent visits with Dr. Xu, I unfortunately had a negative experience. I felt traumatized and shocked by the way Dr. Xu treated me, as he was very rude and arrogant. It was disheartening to witness such a lack of humanity from a healthcare provider. Thankfully, my visits were for minor physical issues, and I did not have to rely on him for serious medical concerns. Otherwise, I would have been extremely apprehensive

I've been to a lot of physio places in my time, and this one ranks right up at the top. Super friendly and professional. All your body mechanic needs here.

Came in for an assessment of my finger after a wrestling injury. They assessed the injury and found a break that the radiologist missed. Short wait and in about 15 minutes were able to see a break that the radiologist could not. Very friendly doctors as well.

After waiting months to get in with years of suffering. They cancelled my followup appt, after running tests u/s and xray without telling me. Have to get results from my family doctor.they won’t tell me anything. Claimed they sent an email, but it never arrived. I spoke to 3 different people till they could locate my file. Got me in a month later… does not seem they care too much…

I have, unfortunately, had to attend the Glen Sather several times due to sports injuries and have always found my experience to be positive.
The admin are pleasant and friendly and the doctors, residents and physios I have met has all be helpful and understanding. As someone who trains regularly, and competitively, the most annoying response from general practitioners is that I should just stop training or that I should give up on my sport. This, however, has never been my experience when consulting with the staff at the Glen Sather. The staff have always worked hard and advised me on the best course of action to get me back to training as soon as possible.
I also really like that the Glen Sather has their own little shop within the clinic that holds everything you could need for rehab exercises and it's all on site for purchase. I appreciated the convenience of this, as I didn't have to track down a specific band or tool I needed.
I would recommend this sports clinic to anyone who trains regularly or competes in some sort of sport and is experiencing a injury. One more extra piece of info, you will need a referral from your family physician to access the clinic. The clinic doesn't do self referral and you can't just walk in.

Thanks to Kourtney, I have regained the mobility in my shoulder that will allow me to return to my normal activities; I haven’t golfed in a couple of years but I’m ready to get back to it! I wonder if I’m still lousy at it? Kourtney is terrific - friendly, encouraging and motivating. Also, she REALLY knows her stuff. Highly recommended.

No respect of appointment times. This was second time and no one even came to ask us even after 45 mins. Need to be more professional and need to respect people’s time.

The clinic itself is an excellent facility with top notch physiotherapists. My only complaint is that I wish the parking was free.

Dr. Hanlon-Dearman was on time, very easy to talk to, compassionate and informative. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone needing health care.

Friendly receptionist. I did not have to wait long to see the doctor. A very thorough assessment and detailed explanation. The doctor took the time to answer all my questions.

Friendly office staff and Dr. Markovitch is a very helpful and caring physician. She explained things clearly and gave me suggestions to help deal with my injury.

The doctor I saw changed my diagnosis 4 times (even with MRI confirmation- which I had to get my family doctor to order because they refused to send me for imaging). Hasn’t really done anything for me aside from telling me to go for Physio (which I would have done on my own without seeing them) and just tells me to follow up with her. Definitely will not be returning and I’m glad I got a referral elsewhere so I can properly be taken care of.
