I dealt with Jim & Norm over the phone. Got multiple different quotes from companies and still came back to glenmore doors. Trust worthy & honest. They did not try to upsell me on things I didn't need. Kyle came out and did a great job installing the door. More than happy with this company. Definitly recommend! Thanks!

We had our garage door serviced by John in sales and Brett as the technician. Both were excellent and very helpful. John provider very fair pricing which was transparent. Brett did a great job on the door which needed significant readjustment (it was quite noisy and had some minor issues with it). We definitely recommend the team at Glenmore Doors!

Excellent service and installation went without any issues. Dealt mainly with John who did an excellent job from start to finish. The installation took an entire day but it included the dismantling of the old garage doors (double and single) and 2 garage door openers. The replacement garage door openers (belt-driven Chamberlain) are so quiet that you can't hear the doors open when inside the house. Shout out to the installer who did an amazing job. Very pleased with the end result. Highly recommended.

Excellent service during the sales and installation processes, competitive price, and a great product. This is a company that knows its business and values its customer. I was kept informed on the status of my door during the manufacturing process and notified about a week ahead of the installation. Ryan, the installer, showed up right on time and was thorough, quick and friendly. He took away all of the packing material and the old door and opener, and explained everything we needed to know about the new opener and the operation of the door. Would definitely recommend Glenmore Door Service for a quality product and a great customer experience!

The manager called me this morning about the incident cited below. He assured me that they did not charge fees to provide proof of WCB and insurance. The employee who had given that information had been spoken to and was warned to speak to a manager and not make up policy if they did not know how to deal with a request.

I am very impressed that the manager took the time to call me. I would hire this company in the future.

The 5 stars are for prompt customer service and admitting that an employee had made a mistake. That counts for a lot with me.

I asked this business to provide proof of WCB coverage and insurance. My condo complex requires all owners to obtain this info before hiring a service. Glenmore Door Services told me they would only email me proof if I paid $50 for it! No respectable business should charge to provide proof that they have proper coverage before a customer allows them onto their property.

I did not hire them.

We recently had our 50 year old heavy wooden garage door replaced by Glenmore Doors. Great experience. We were lucky to have the owner Jim be our salesperson. He was happy to chat about different options, pros/ cons of each - it felt like a chat rather than a sales pitch. Our door wasn’t standard size unfortunately so getting it right from the start was important.
Josh did a great job with our install. Overall very happy with the product, install and final price.

We called about an issues with the garage door. The person on the phone asked a few questions and suggested a possible problem. He was correct. A staff person was sent out the next day and quickly fixed the broken spring.he was quick, efficient and explained what he was going to do and completed the work. We have used the company before and trust their work. Well done, cost effective and on time.

Late to post this as the install was a few months ago - Very honest and knowledgeable guys to deal with. From the owner Jim down to the techs all of them were great. The quoted price was honoured, took a little while to get the doors manufactured but that was out of their hands, and the schedule install and follow up was on time. Doors look great as a result! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Thanks guys.

We are so pleased with our new garage door! My inquiry was responded to very promptly and a home visit was scheduled within days! The owner brought samples and was very knowledgeable about each product. We were happy to get an Alberta made door. Installation was professionally done and didn’t take very long. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone in the market for a new door!

Glenmore Doors replaced two aging garage doors at our house (Apr 2021). The service was excellent from the initial visit to the final installation. In spite of backlog problems with insulation in the industry they were able to get my doors within a short period of time. Amazing service! Our garage door had been having problems for a couple of weeks so we gave Jim at Glenmore Doors a call to see if they would be able to do anything. He came by the next day and had a look at the garage door, where he told us it would be best to have a new garage door installed (but did not pressure us to buy/use their services at all). His son, Austin, arrived promptly at the specified time to install the opener and was very thorough throughout the whole process. He was very courteous and friendly when explaining how everything works and the new features of the garage door opener. We would highly recommend their services for getting your garage door serviced or replaced!

Great communication over email and when the installer showed up the not straightforward job wasn't a problem. Easy to recommend.

Wrote to them over a long weekend - after seeing their reviews - about a potential issue. Norm called back over said weekend to ask more about what was going on, and then suggested options (including a DIY option - no up-selling, impressive).

We agreed on a date for a service call which he was prompt in scheduling. A day before, called Norm to report that the issue seemed resolved; and he had no hesitation in canceling the work order. We spoke about some other components that we may require addressed, and he was happy to offer this thoughts as well as some maintenance tips.

It is one thing to receive a service and rate someone; it is even more impressive when the service is canceled (not availed of), yet the rating is stellar. There is no question that whenever we or anyone we know need similar services in the future, the one call we will make is to Glenmore Door Services and hope to speak with Norm.
