I was BULLIED and HARASSED into paying an extra $3000 that I was LIED TO about.

Most of the positive reviews on here are regarding the move-in process (which I agree was fine), but there are hardly any regarding the move-OUT process. In short, I was bullied, lied to, and I felt like it was just another case of greedy landlords taking advantage of vulnerable tenants. Before you decide to move here, I would highly recommend you have at least an extra $6000 - $10,000 ready in cash at all times if you do not want to be threatened financially and legally. Here’s why:

After living there for nearly 3 years, I had a personal emergency in which I needed to move out before my lease was over. After carefully reviewing my lease agreement that I signed, I saw that I had to pay a $500 penalty fee which is totally fair. I discussed this with the landlord after giving a 1-month notice, and they sent me move-out documents and requested I pay the $500 penalty fee. THAT’S IT. Or so I thought.

THEN a month later - AFTER I HAD ALREADY MOVED OUT – they suddenly decided that I had to pay a few months’ extra rent. After I said they never told me this, they LIED to me and said that they told me about it (I have all email correspondence saved, and that is a complete lie). I said it’s not in the lease agreement, and they basically said there is a generic sentence which allows them to charge any amount of extra rent that they want until the end of the lease. So theoretically by this same logic, if you still have 10 months left on your lease, they could ask for $2600/month x 10 months = $26,000 extra pay. If that doesn’t scream SCAM, I don’t know what does.

But don’t worry, because they will then send DEBT COLLECTORS after you to harass and threaten you financially and legally for this extra money. All because of greedy landlords who lied to you about telling you they wanted extra money. And when I tried to get in contact with the landlord multiple times after (3 people x 4 times each = 12 times), they repeatedly ignored me. This is a DISGUSTING way to treat your tenants. On top of that, they then increased the rent on my unit for up to 185.5%, so they were already making more profit from the next person than me anyways, but yet they still wanted more money.

Protect yourself. I am reporting my experience so that the next person won’t get scammed like I did. They will NOT be honest with you. I am warning that IF you decide to move here, please PREPARE yourself! I would recommend not planning on having any emergency (which is ridiculous because nobody can plan for an emergency) or having an extra $6000 - $10,000 MINIMUM ready in cash at all times in order to protect yourself.

Otherwise… do NOT rent here.

If I could give this place negative multiple stars, I would.

To say the least this company through and through is THE worst management company you could ever live at. The care and respect for their residences is obsolete. They do not care about the well-being of their renters or even the basic human rights of a renter.

Please from the bottom of my heart, DO NOT, ever consider moving to this complex.

Hassle free as emily and edgar actually made the move in both easy and enjoyable, and addressed any concerns we might have had without delay.hassle free as emily and edgar actually made the move in both easy and enjoyable, and addressed any concerns we might have had without delay.to begin with any negative reviews i have noticed are totally unjustified as this beautiful park like setting is beyond amazing.both emily and edgar made out move in a complete pleasure, as much as any moving experience can be, the area is peaceful and very friendly with a nice mix of younger and mature tenants living in the area.the rents appear to be on par with calgarys present market and as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.overall i would highly recommend glenmore gardens to anyone who is presently in the market for a clean friendly and safe community to call home

I viewed the Masonettes at this property and absolutely loved them. My situation at the moment doesn't allow for me to take the suite I was shown from a space perspective, however I'm definitely going to consider living here in the future. Emily was an absolute delight to work with and acts as an excellent ambassador for the company. Thank you for your time and I'm sure I'll be back.

Terrible management. During our short stay we had several problems with tenants and office staff refused to help and made us feel guilty because they either did not care or were to lazy to do anything about our problem. I would never recommend this place to anyone and if i could give it 0 stars i would.

Had a wonderful experience from the beginning to the move in. Jason is a very supportive and communicative member of the Quadreal team. Very professional and knew which unit would suit me. He was right. I love my new home.

Professional, polite, efficient. Very few issues and they were all quickly and professionally handled in the best manner. Probably the best housing authority/landlord authority I've ever had.

Over the years I have seen Glenmore Gardens change hands, and this time it is for the better. Jessie, Jay, and the team has been very accommodating and this property has turned a 180 in the last year. Fatos (maintenance) is excellent and friendly, as well as the rest of the maintenance team. I would recommend Glenmore Gardens to anybody looking for a rental in South Calgary.

The staff and re-shaped new maintenance staff, have a pleasant can do positive manner, its a huge breath of fresh air.
A special thanks to Jay and Jason, as we were about to leave until we got to meet and deal with them.
The whole staff are pleasant and we have really enjoyed Fatos, he comes, smiles and fixes the problem, bing bang boom, its done.

The work that's has been done to the building is amazing and huge, not ashamed to have friends visit, lobby, halls everything looking new and fresh: huge money has been spent and it really shows, thanks Quadreal, keep up the momentum.

I hope Quadreal continues this attitude of improvement, it is sure to keep us as happy Residents.

At the beginning of December, we started applying for apartment rent. One of the places was Glenmore Gardens located at 2105 90th Avenue SW Calgary, AB T2V 0X5. They were offering one month FREE plus a $1000 signing BONUS if you move in by the end of December, which attracted us to them. We went there to see the apartment and made an application. Although we sent them all our salary statements, we were contacted by them and asked for a screenshot of our bank account page with the amounts we have which was really not appropriate but we did this. After all this we were rejected with one phrase: "Due to one or more reasons we are unable to proceed with your application. " We asked them what was the problem since we know that our credit score is perfect, our income is good and none of our references were contacted to ask about us, not the previous or present employer not even the previous landlord. We did not get any explanation except the words "it is confidential". We have asked them for their manager's contacts to discuss what issue but they told us that nobody is in the office and that they will contact us later. Since then 1 month have passed and nobody contacted us. Taking all this into account the only things we can think about are:
The BONUS they declare offering was a fraud and just a method to attract more clients.
They are discriminating against their client's race, nationality, sexual orientation, family status, physical appearance, age or gender or others.

I LOVE Glenmore Gardens so far, love it. Brooke, Jay and Jason are a great team who know their stuff and are always pleasant to speak with. I have found every aspect of the process professionally conducted.so far so wonderful. The site itself is open and green. Always cared for and quiet. Glenmore landing is a six minute walk, there are four bustops really close, and Glenmore reserviour's walking trails are RIGHT THERE! Yay!

Just moved in.it's early but so far this place has done nothing but impress me to no end. There isn't a better value out there and I did a lot of research. The pool, fitness center, outdoor grounds, renos (with both the apartments themselves as well as what they are doing with the entrance, laundry area and elsewhere in the older buildings) are first class.

Carla, Brooke and Jay did AMAZING job when I moved in Glenmore Gardens. Menagment in Glenmore Gardens are super professional!
Building is very nice and CLEAN! My recommendation for Glenmore Gardens!
