Glenmore Heights

10/10 appartement. We had a blast living here in one of the penthouses. Walls are sound proof, apartement is clean and Big shout out to Anne who takes good care of their residents and knows every tenant by name.

Edit: this review was posted when our rent was 1200 CAD.
Already overpriced, but now I wouldn’t recommend paying a penny more

The warm greeting and the planning that went into it. Especially the gifts and welcome note put on the counter. It was endearing and considerate.

I lived at Glenmore Heights with my 94 year-old mother for 2 years. I loved the place. Anne and Abi, the Management Team, were always available, responded quickly to any concerns and were simply amazing. When I had service requests, the tech came quickly to repair the issue. I always felt safe here, this was huge for me because I was living with someone that needed a safety and peaceful place to live. The cleaning was done everyday, even during winter time. The ladies were always friendly and hard-working, I could see them working and leaving our lobby, elevators and halls spotless! I did not have an underground parking; I used the assigned parking outside and my car was never broken-into. I am taking with me beautiful memories from living at Glenmore Heights. I wish Anne and Abi the best, continue being awesome! Thank you so much for doing what you do for the community!

The management team and their staff are friendly and welcoming which creates a really great sense of community for the residents who live here. The building is well maintained and the grounds are kept up nicely as well.

The ladies working in the office have been nothing but friendly and helpful. They were very patient and gracious towards my many questions during the move-in process. They have been so lovely. Superlative customer service from Anne and Glenda. Thank you so much

I'm very happy with the management team at Glenmore Heights. They have been prompt to deal with maintenance requests, and have been conscientious about snow and ice removal. That is critical to me, as I am disabled and require a walker to get out of my building and across the outdoor parking lot to my vehicle. Last summer a situation in the neighborhood brought a number of homeless people onto our property, and a town hall meeting with the local police station was organized to keep the residents informed. The issue has since been resolved, and I'm so pleased that peace and order has been restored. I have lived here for 3 years.

Management is terrible to deal with, and will throw the book at you at every opportunity. Had to destroy our bed and belongings that were infested with bed bugs, and plumbing goes down on an almost weekly basis because of terrible maintenance. Rent is through the roof compared to anything else around and parking is additional on top of that. Absolute worst experience ever, look elsewhere!

As an addendum to my review. If you look at all the 5 stars reviews this place has recieved lately, they are all very general reviews, speaking nothing specific about what they find great. The reviewers also have only one review to their name, and it's this place. Management may change, and change often for reasons I listed, and other reviews have as well. But that doesn't mean they have ever fixed any of these issues. So much money has to be put into these buildings to fix the problems that your rent would be astronomical. Do yourself a favor and stay away, it's not worth the hassle.

I feel more secured living here. I feel appreciated and the staff are friendly and pro active. They listen and are always willing to help.

Abby, Glenda and Anne were tremendously supportive during a difficult point in my life. All three ladies go above and beyond their job limits and all three are always reliable, dependable and honest. For the time that I have lived in Glenmore Heights, I have had nothing but a positive experience.

I kid you not, the site team is great, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and always willing to help. Its been a great change here. I have lived at Glenmore Heights for 28 years and the new team here are the best.

I see some pretty bad reviews here.i can NOT say I agree at all! The staff works so hard to try and keep everyone happy, they beefed up security they are friendly and kind. Maintenance has improved substantially. Some people are never happy and can not be pleased. This place is in a great location, close to everything and as for the homeless.why blame staff and the management company? They (staff and quadreal) have gone above and beyond. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.

Highly recommend. We rented one bedroom unit on west building and Our stay in glenmore hieghts was an amazing experience. The staff members are very professional and friendly.
This place is in the centre of everything in city.

Only thing good about this place is the staff. Vehicle break-ins, dumpsters divers, and drug dealers out of control at this property! Heat a problem you never know if you'll have it or not. Water is cut off a least 6 times a year sometimes without notice-shower on that one not fun! Constant construction noise plan on being inconvenienced on a regular basis! Been here 5 yrs.this year has been the worst year since Quadreal took over.

I have had a good experience living here. They have been some staff changes that have made a lot of difference. The building is an old building but it is cared for. Glenmore Heights has a good asset; the staff. I love it here!

I've been here for nearly 4 years now, and its been nothing short of incredible. Although there has been some challenges, I feel that the staff are fully capable, and commited to handling each challenge as they arise. The staff are super friendly, proffesional and courteous, which is a big plus. There is a great sense of community here, thats attractive to many. The buildings are clean, thanks to a great team of dedicated staff. So if your looking for a great place to live, with a community of diverse people, then at the very least, come and check it out for yourselves. I would highly recommend glenmore heights to all.

One step up from the homeless shelter. I feel sorry for people that have no other options. Smelly, dingy, depressing and unforgivably delipidated. Don't know where the apartments on the website are located but the pictures are NOT representative of what I saw at Glenmore Heights. Furthermore, the "response' from the property owners/management are condescending and dismissive. Slum landlords they clearly are. I wouldn't let my dog live here. Very sad that this is acceptable habitation for humans.

No heat. -35 at night. No one cares if we freeze to death. Told there is nothing they can do about no heat. Had to go out and buy space heaters we could not afford to make apartment bareable. Told to leave our oven on day and night to get heat. Disgusting how good tenants are treated. Repairs requests are ignored. A lot of floods. We were left to deal with flood issues ourselves. Office told us we were forgotten about. No one checked on damage, made repairs. Still haven't repaired damage from last years flood. Take pictures of the damage and then you are forgotten about. This is not excellence for each resident. Library closes at 6pm, used to be open until 9pm. Dirty. We give them a zero rating. Shameful.

I have been at Glenmore Height for 3 years now and it has gotten worse and worse in the last two years. I can't even count how many building managers we've gone through in the last 3 years. Anne and Davis are the best this building has.past and present. Maintenance was always done within an hour or so and always fixed properly. Now we have a maintenance worker who is afraid of dogs.really? Why was he hired when this building is full of dogs? People have to stay home from work to keep their dog away when something needs to be done? The water in the building is constantly being shut off, the laundry room is an absolute pig sty all the time, the library has a musty smell and the furniture in there stinks, the weight room has never been cleaned, it's very filthy in there and no air circulation, no fans in there. I have rented the party room twice now and both times the kitchen is filthy. On Xmas Eve I used 8 Lysol wipes just to clean 1 counter and you can't watch movie or hook up a gaming system because it doesn't work and the roll up separator between the dining room and kitchen is broken. The parkade construction was a total nightmare with a bunch of us being diss-placed. The visitor parking AND the permit parking is not monitored at all.ever! There are so many people parking for free day and night and never get caught when there's others like me who actually pay for it and then on top of it it's our responsibility to call parking control? We wouldn't have to if it was properly monitored. Our cold water never runs cold and is always murky and apparently that's supposed to be normal? Bed bugs in that building is also an issue. How on earth do you have to live in order to get bedbugs? Maybe now that the suites are being monitored more closely an infestation like this won't happen anymore. I refuse to be inconvenienced, diss-placed and loss of work hours/pay anymore because of this problem. I also know the response I am going to get from QuadReal because your reply is the same to every review on here. You've only been around a short while and I'm hoping things get better and not worse or were outta there like a lot of other people lately. Quite a few of us tenants speak on a regular basis and we all have the same complaints.
