I didn't get the receptionist name but she was very helpful. She answered my questions and concerns regarding my cats hairball issue. She even made an appointment just in case I needed to bring my fur baby in. She seemed very knowledgeable and was very kind. I could tell just by talking to her. Even though she never met my Minnie she cared for the health of my kitty cat
The location is very convenient for me and I'm sure my two cats wouldn't mind a check up. Spot on service. Thank you

I have been coming here for several years now and I am always so happy with my cats' care and just everything about this clinic. Dr Barbaza is the absolute best and always makes sure you understand everything that you need to and really does go out of his way with basically everything - treatment of the animals, time, answering questions. He is relatable, kind, and helpful. The office staff are also great and I just can't say enough good things about everyone here. I always make sure to recommend them to my friends and family. If you're thinking of going to a new vet, I can't speak highly enough of Glenora Family Pet Clinic.

This is a great vet clinic. My senior cat sees Dr. Felipe who take so much time and care to make sure she is comfortable and feels safe. Dr. Felipe takes my concerns seriously and responds to my many many questions. I never feel rushed, which reinforces my sense that my cat is receiving excellent care.

The vet techs are professional, kind and friendly. Things can be crazy stressful and I really appreciate all they do for peoples' critters!

The layout of the clinics attempts to keep the dogs and cats apart using separate sitting areas. Prices are not a bargain, but it is located in the downtown core, so I understand why this clinic isn't pricing the same way as my old clinic does in a small town.

We started going to Glenora vet nearly two years ago with our first pup, Millie. Our fur family has grown since then!

It honestly is the nicest vet clinic I have ever visited. From the front desk to the patient room all of the staff members are friendly, empathetic, and listen to your concerns well and without any judgment or condescension.

Even after moving out of downtown we would not want to take our fur babies anywhere else (minus emergency situations).

We would highly recommend this vet clinic to anyone living within Edmonton!

Zero star was all deserved for this clinic, since they changed front staff.

I’ve been bringing my dog here since he’s a puppy.

Last year we had an emergency that need an immediate attention for, to make the story short the front desk declined to take my dog. Mind you that front desk was disrespectful and used unpleasant words over the phone.

I reached out to Dr. Nick but I was disappointed because he didn’t even hear my side.

Today I have an appointment but running late so I decided to call and asked them if they want me to reschedule. The lady said just come in but there’s a wait time. So we drove there, called the front desk, she put me on hold as usual and sat at the parking lot. She then picked up the phone after putting me on hold for awhile and then said they decided not to take me.

I asked why, she didn’t tell me nothing and sarcastically laughed at me over the phone. Mind you I’m talking about same front desk that we encountered from that incident last year.

I then called another clinic, asked if they can take my dog as patient instead. They told me to call Glenora and ask them to send the file. That the same front desk Kirsten answered and said “our pleasure to have your file transferred”

Literally they don’t value loyal customer. She’s the same from desk who used foul and unpleasant worlds towards me when we had that emergency last year.

I’m thankful for the old front desk staff who’s been so kind and caring towards my golden retriever.

We attended the Glenora family pet clinic yesterday for the first time. We saw a wonderful vet, Dr. Ashley, who assessed our precious Lucy and ordered the appropriate tests. Her exam was caring and extensive.

She actually left us an email last night with the lab results as she could not get a hold of us by phone. Absolutely the best service and caring we have experienced at a vet clinic for a very, very long time. The staff at the clinic are exceedingly professional, caring, and friendly. We are switching both our kitties over this clinic from my previous one. They are absolutely wonderful.

Staff are friendly and welcoming. I currently only go here to purchase my cat food but they are very helpful. The food has to be special ordered in and they are quick to let me know when it arrives. If I need vet care, I would feel very comfortable bringing my pets here

I used to be a client with this clinic and the reason is stayed for so long was because of dr Nick! He is amazing with my pet! But in the most recent years I’ve constantly had different vets in that clinic treating her who don’t have any clue about her history! It’s like going to a different clinic every time I go there! I’m really disappointed!

New to the vet clinic scene, but this team was exceedingly helpful and informative! They helped me get registration done, as well as just general pet questions! I have a young cat, and she barely noticed her vaccinations highly recommend this team! They'll help you through the stressful sides of pet ownership! Thank you all again!

They were able to see my pup same day for a concern that while not life threatening was very important for me to have checked out as quickly as possible. This was even though they are not our regular vet. The care
my dog received was top notch with the concern being diagnosed while I waited. I was also able to get the medicine and new food at the clinic, which made life easier. The staff was very caring and professional. As I waited I got to see other owners and pets come and go and they were all treated with kindness and respect.

My fiance always brought his cat, Torch, here to see Dr. Nick. We had to have Torch put to sleep a few days ago and the level of care and heartfelt compassion all the staff showed us was amazing. Thank you for taking care of Torch for as long as you did. I will likely be switching vets and bringing my cat to this clinic from now on.

Dr. Nick and all of the staff here are wonderful. They have helped us out in a pinch more than once, are very compassionate and kind, and leave you reassured that your pet is in capable hands. They are honest and don’t take advantage of the fact that you are desperate to help your pet.
The staff here went out of their way to text me pictures and updates on my cat when he needed surgery - twice.

Their location is clean and quiet, easy to find/access and has a decent amount of parking. I would confidently recommend Glenora Family Pet clinic to anyone needing any type of care for their pet. 10/10

Dr. Belinda was wonderful. Quick and efficient with her explaining of procedures needed and what was required. She was sensitive to price as well which i greatly appreciated. She was gentle and patient with Coco, who is a scaredy cat and not the easiest to deal with. The front staff were friendly and helpful. I appreciated the little coffee bar they had as well. If you are looking for a top notch pet clinic that has great doctors who really know what they are doing and who are really caring and who take the time to explain results of tests and examinations to you this is the clinic for you. Fair prices with up front quotes and absolutely no pressure selling is another attribute of this clinic. I have to mention the 5 star staff that they have, these people are very friendly and very efficient and informative, who make sure that you know what's going on through timely phone calls and emails. The whole clinic is spotless and you can be absolutely certain that if your pet has to stay in for any length of time that it will be cared for like it was their own. Reserved parking spots right bye the front door really is nice in the winter time

I’ve been bringing my pup to GFPC for the past 5 years. Initially the service was exceptional across the board - everyone was friendly, attentive. My dog received excellent care and has always had positive experiences at the vet. The past year or so I’ve seen a dramatic decline in the quality of service - we’re still treated well but it seems that every time I deal with the staff outside of an active examination of my dog something falls through the cracks. The blood work that revealed her kidney disease fell through the cracks for literal MONTHS and wasn’t informed about the results until I arrived to drop her off for a scheduled surgery - blood work where I was told that they would only call if there was anything noteworthy to report, so given I had no reason to expect any issues I thought nothing of not receiving a follow up call regarding the results.

Now, my dog is on a prescription diet for her kidney disease and on three separate occasions (two of which occurred back to back, and I don’t think I’ve even placed more than 4 orders for this food total) I’ve called in an order for her food and the order has simply not been placed. That’s an abysmal track record. I understand that mistakes happen, but this has become a pattern and it’s a pattern that directly affects my dog’s health and well-being. I have friends who also bring their dogs to GFPC who have had very similar experiences in the past year or so. I’m not sure what has changed, and I am trying to really give them the benefit of the doubt because they have treated my girl so well over the years, but the lack of care and attention to detail lately has been incredibly troubling.

Very nice people at the Glenora Family Pet Clinic. I had a very tough day with my pet, and they were above and beyond with providing options and information allowing me to make decisions regarding my boy. I would recommend anyone who considers their pets as family to trust in this staff.

Such a friendly office. I’ve seen 3 different doctors who are all great, friendly, informative and clearly care about the animals.

We took our senior dog to Glenora for the last year of his life. We could not have received better care. They never charged us for things we didn't need, always got us in for emergency or urgent situations despite being very busy. The vets are realistic and compassionate. When we did eventually have to euthanize our dog, not only did they show us so much kindness and compassion, and reminded us that it was a loving decision, but they made a donation to the SPCA in our dogs name AND gave us a condolence card when I picked up his ashes. They are an amazing clinic and I would reccomend them to anyone.

I cannot recommend this practice enough. My roommate and I are in uni and our cat recently got really sick and from the very first appointment, the staff were so kind, compassionate, and helpful. They’ve been accommodating and understanding of the fact that we are in school and that every financial decision is hard for us and have given us space to decide if we can afford her treatments each time. The staff are patient and gentle, and I can honestly say we have had nothing but top tier service, both in the treatment of our kitty but also in their customer service sector. If your family pet ever needs treatment, make this clinic your first call. Every staff member, from the front desk to the ones doing surgery at the back, are involved, attentive and eager to help.

I took my dog Jasper to Dr. Ashley when I was having trouble getting him in to see my regular vet. She was helpful, kind and a great communicator, as well as the receptionist and vet techs I interacted with. I feel very fortunate to have found this vet.

We are so happy we chose Glenora Family Pet Clinic for our 4 cats after moving to Edmonton a year ago. We decided to make an appointment here because of their Gold Level Cat-Friendly-Practice certification.
Dr. Belinda was amazing with all our boys for their annual health exams and vaccinations. She was incredibly patient and listened to all our concerns (no matter how trivial they likely were), and provided professional, thorough explanations (without feeling the need to “dumb it down”).
The staff are phenomenal and we appreciate the easy communication via text. We also loved receiving a detailed receipt and procedure record via email. We are also grateful for all the COVID precautions the clinic takes to protect clients and staff, but we do very much appreciate that one cat parent was allowed in the exam room (we have one difficult cat).
The only minor comment we had was that the layout of the exam rooms close to the front entrance/lobby is not ideal for carrying (especially dog) noise, but we know that it is what it is, and that is really minor in the grand scheme.

Forever will be recommending this place for anyone that needs a procedure done for there cat, my little guy got neutered yesterday and I was a bit anxious from the start but from the front desk ladies to the vet technician they made the whole experience wonderful for my cat and for me. Really appreciate all the information given when we did pick up and the phone call the next day checking in! Highly recommend!

Dr Nick is amazing, he saved our cats life. We now bring our puppy to him as well and the staff are friendly and the service is great. Oscar and George love the Glenora fam!

They provide excellent service and really do care about the health of your pets. We have had only good experiences with them whenever we needed to take our cat to the vet for her vaccines and general health.

We needed to find a vet that could help us with our cat's sudden eye problem (as our main vet didn't have the right equipment). They managed to fit us in and did a great job at assessing our cat's problem and treatment.
The clinic does seem overbooked and it was sad to hear that the doctor we had gives up some of his breaks and lunch to help people like us. That's wonderful for the pet and families but rough on the staff.
Everybody was friendly. Our doctor was exceptional. Excellent experience.

Brought in a kitten found on the highway with her bottom lip essentially de-gloved. Dr. Nick got her in immediately the next day and fixed her up - she's healing well and you'd never know she'd been hurt! I've been seeing him for a few years now for my cats and he's fantastic and the clinic is reasonably priced - especially for such a central location. Ladies at the front desk are always lovely as well. I recommend this clinic to all friends with pets.

I've been bringing my guinea pigs here for years and the staff are amazing. When one of mine passed away, they sent a beautiful card and it was so much appreciated. They always take great care of my piggies and I am very happy to bring them here

Worst experience I've ever had. I called twice about a prescription refill for our sick kitty. Both times, they said it would be no issue. When I got there, they didn't have my prescription ready and said they wouldn't fill it for me. Then they try and sell me some cat food and cat treats, wouldn't even offer to comp me anything for all my trouble and distress. Seems like they only care about taking your money not about your pet. We'll be looking for another vet immediately

I brought both my 10 year old rescue cats in for an examination for the first time last week with dr.nick who is a capable and loving vet.he came highly recommended by my cat care giver.she has gone to him for years.

Glenora Family Pet Clinic has done 2 small surgeries on my senior cat. They are VERY reasonable and so thorough. Everyone there is wonderful to deal with. Highly recommend them.

I've been to many vets across the city through the years with Oliver. The staff here are definitely the best. It's essentially like having family look after your beloved pet. I can't say enough wonderful things.

The place is always clean. We have had them for our family Vet for the past few years and just can't see us going any place else. One of my favorite people there has taken some time off.

The staff at Glenora Family Pet Clinic are the best! They understand that emergencies happen, and they are always able to accommodate us when our pets are in need. Dr. Nick is great with our rabbits and dog, and we are always impressed with their exceptional level of service and expertise!

My large cat was being seen by another vet. Having never delt with a diabetic cat I trusted him. When he seemed a bit uncaring I came to see Dr. Nick. It was like day and night. Dr. Nick explained everything. Although I had been given poor advice in the past I am confident that Spencer is now in caring hands and at a far more reasonable price. Thank you Dr. Nick.

Just an update. After 2 months of my guy getting worse and worse he is getting better. I was so worried that I was going to have to put him down. Dr. Nick.thank you so very much.

One of the best clinics we’ve ever been to, Dr Nick and Dr Belinda and staff are kind and caring. We had to say goodbye to our pup of over 16 years and they were gentle and so kind, we will always remember how sweet and amazing they were with us and our little Kallie. This is the first experience I've had as a pet owner and working with a veterinary clinic. Dr Nick and his staff are amazing! They are very responsive, always willing to have a conversation and they genuinely care about you and your pet. I highly recommend them!

I love this team! Our two hearts, Jayne and Inara, have been loved, cared for, and nurtured by this incredible group of people every single time we've visited. I never have panic or fear about the wellbeing of our furbabies when in their capable hands.

This veterinarian is by the far the best I have used so far. Many, many times they have suggested the cheaper path of treatment over much more expensive ones. Money does not seem to be a motivator. They are very personable and genuinely seem to care. I can't recommend this vet enough!

Dr. Nick is attentive, thorough, gentle, and kind. We've been taking our pup here for two years, and he actually gets excited to go to the vet. The staff is friendly, and they call to follow up after any appointment. The free socialization classes are as much fun for the owners as they are for the pets.

Had a interview with the company went back for a follow up and they didn't even have the time or courtesy to talk to me, call me cause I left my name and # with the new receptionist they already hired, also when I was called for the interview I couldn't understand who I was talking to she thought she had the wrong #, overall really upset with the interview process didn't even describe the job position, the hours, I had to ask when they were hiring.
The office manager seemed very unfriendly and cold.

All of the staff are so friendly and truly care about your pet! I've brought Pumpkin in for her puppy shots and to puppy class a few times to so she can learn how to socialize with other dogs. She doesn't mind going to the vet because they make it a great experience for her!

Really enjoyed our first visit to Glendora Family Pet Clinic! We were warmly greeted by the reception team. They also took some time to comfort and give our pup a treat!
The veterinarian was notably thorough in her exam and recommendations for our puppy too!
My girlfriend and I were also quite happy to find out they run a puppy club on Tuesdays!

As there is quite a bit of information this vet clinic provides, I’d love for them to provide a handout/checklist so it’s easier to follow along and make sure we haven’t missed any info!

The care and attention Glenora Family Pet Clinic has provide to my Dog Harley as been excellent.

Truly a family pet clinic second to none.
