Excellent Japanese restaurant in Calgary, very fresh fish and excellent portions. Also the staff was very nice and helped us decide the dishes

I went with work colleagues and everybody's tastes were catered for. Everybody left full and not disappointed.

I don't have many words to say. Place is an amazing Asian restaurant, with great food and amazing stuff members. Also have the best Ramen I ever tried. I love the atmosphere and the hole place it self. I greatly recommend anyone who wants have a great Asian restaurant experience to go and visit it!

Great food too bad our waitress forgot about us completely after delivering our food.never saw her again.

Decent, well-priced sushi restaurant. Ramen is good, options for no sesame and halal no pork options for ramen. Pretty decent place.

5/5 the combination of good food, price and services. We usually have rock'n shrimp, globefish ramen and salmon sashimi. Our food got mess up a couple times but it got fixed right away which I was not dissappointed

Food and service has always been really good, love coming to Globefish. However respectfully, I would highly recommend whoever is in charge of operations to have a look at the sewage smell, it’s gotten a tad overwhelming to the dining experience in my last few visits.

Went to Globefish for lunch and it was lovely. I had a dynamite roll and their cold noodle salad. Prices were okay, quality was good and I walked away satisfied. I enjoy the quaint restaurant, slow and quiet feeling. Totally a go to place for lunch!

Excellent sushi here. It's the second time I have been and I had great service. I had the Alaska Roll and it was great. My wife also had the "Sexy in the City" roll and it is easily one of my all-time favourites. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful food and a great atmosphere. The lack of bright lights is quite comfortable and gives the area a very calm and welcome environment, and the food was absolutely excellent. I did eat inside and didn't do take out so I'm not sure if there's any differences, but for what we paid for and what we (myself and a friend from out of town) got it was fantastic. The service was nice, and all of our needs were met. All in all? I loved it. I'll be sure to come back again soon.

Just had a wonderful lunch of the Shoyun ramen and tuna sushi. Came to $22 and I left filled. I've been coming here for 8+ years and it has been great each time.

Favourite ramen place to go. Rolls are delish too. Affordable but feels luxurious. Eat and shop at chinook to burn those calories!

You know. There food is really good but the service here is atrocious. Who ever is front host at this place has horrible phone manners. I ordered over $80 worth of food before. They say Curbside pickup is part of their offers. I was going to order at least $80 worth of food again for Curbside pick up from this place and when I finally got through the front host was just rude and scoffed at me because I'd rather take food home to eat then sit in a restaurant and he just hung up on me. I was calling for 20 minutes of only getting the answering machine. Absolutely the worst service from a company. Usually I write good reviews. This company does not deserve a good review. Both times I have talked to this same front end guest host, he is very rude and condescending on the phone. I wasn't even 1 ounce rude myself all I asked was if I could place an order so I could pick it up curbside on my way home from work. He wouldn't even let me get out my sentence.

Really awesome spot! Love the ramen for the price point, very delicious and great portions. The zen roll was also very good and always enjoy the sushi here too. Im a big sashimi fan and the price for that too is extremely reasonable. This is my favorite sushi spot in the area for getting a quick bite to eat especially after shopping. The staff is really great too with fast service.

I have been going to Globefish for over a decade and in my opinion this location is the best in the city. Not only to they make great sushi but they make some of the best Ramen in the city!

Wow. As delicious as the food was, and it was, the trip and experience is worth a billion times more if you can get Tomo to serve you. This man embodies a passion for food, people and life and is the real deal.

My go to staple-sushi place. When I'm just simply looking for good clean high quality sushi, this is where I go. Also the staff is super nice and helpful, always a great experience.

I have a medical condition where I do not need to wear a mask. Ive been here without a mask many times however this past week I was told no mask no service. Ive now been taking my business to another sushi place on 17th where they honor the bylaw and mask exemptions

This Globfish Chinook centre location is awesome place! Best sushi and Ramen In Calgary! Their Sushi is so fresh and so tasty! Staffs are so welcoming and they are always making sure everything is good for you with Big smile! Very clean and sanitize.

We’ve been here for years. They never disappoint, very authentic Japanese Ramen. Highly recommend you try it if you in the area. My favourite globefish ramen with spicy sauce on the side and Rocken shrimps.

If you want good appetizers try this place its so good, these 2 are my favorite. And if you craving some ramen its a good place to visit too.

Friendly helpful staff. Fresh food, good quality, good presentation, and ample portions. Minor criticism, we drank Diet Pepsi and there were no free refills. I recommend this restaurant.

Consistently good food a service. Shockingly good when one considers it's attached to a mall (accessable from outside only). If you like rolls the Volcano and Crispy Spicy tuna rolls will rock your world.

Little known secret, Globefish Chinook has one of the best bowls of ramen in the city!

Globefish was the best Sushi restaurant in Calgary. Now they have 3 locations. One of the best Sushi restaurants in Calgary. Whenever I want Suishi, I always look for Globfish, can't go wrong. I highly recommend Globe Fish.

Once seated, the servers didn't even wait 5 minutes for us to look at the menu before asking us what we wanted to order. It felt like they were rushing my friends and me into ordering so that we could quickly eat and leave the restaurant. My friend had ordered the spicy miso ramen. After my server had finished going around the table she went to input our orders. Under her breath, not even 1 metre away she mocked the way my friend had pronounced the word miso. That was very shocking to hear. I am not very good at using chopsticks, so I asked my server if I could have a fork to eat my ramen with. As soon as she left to go get me the fork I heard her and the other servers laughing in the back by the kitchen. It was a very embarrassing and uncomfortable experience as I felt like I was being watched and judged as I ate. The servers seemed like they were done with the day and wanted to go home. Their attitudes towards customers brought the overall vibe of the place down. I will not be eating here again.

The food here was excellent. We had the Cherry Blossom Roll and a variety of sushi and gyoza, along with some tea and warm saké. Everything came quickly and to satisfaction. The girls were very attentive. No complaints! I would come here regularly for my sushi fix.

I quite enjoyed lunch here. The service was pretty good and fast and the food was tasty and well-presented. The gyoza was crispy on the outside and scrumptious on the inside, the fish tasted fresh. Even the warm saké stayed warm until the last drop. I would definitely come here again.

By far the worst "Japanese" food I have ever had in my life no exaggeration. Had the lunch 'rice bowl' Tempura and Sashimi. Have never ever had Japanese rice bowls where the rice was plain white rice instead of sushi rice especially if it's marketed as a Rice Bowl? !? ! The Tempura was just overall unpleasant to eat and the sashimi slices were thin as paper. The entire bowl was just a mess and flavourless and incredibly disappointing. Word to the wise do not get the rice bowls unless its has the word chirashi behind it. My friend had the Tonkatshu Ramen and I tried a bit and that's the only reason why this has one star. His meal was good apparently. So just stay away from the 'rice bowls'. Menu also felted very limited to just a bunch of random different rolls and some sashimi if you weren't looking for Ramen.

Globefish is always good. Some of the consistently freshest tasting sashimi I have found. Once was served salmon that seemed a bit off but was taken care of well for the potential mistake.

Great food. Rolls were fresh and bigger than other places. The spicy chilli ramen was very tasty but not really spicy.

I really love this place, the atmosphere is friendly and faced paced, the food rocks and the service is great! Keep it up!

I've been to Tokyo and Vancouver, and this place's ramen in particular hangs up there with the best of them!

I visited this place again and tried some of their menu. And I wasn't disappointed for it's really delicious no regrets right there. The servers are really friendly and kind one of them is Jessica and I didn't get the other server's name. This place for me is 10/10 (January 12,2020)

Delicious and a nice atmosphere - I had the Deluxe Sashimi and a chocolate pear dessert that was outstanding. Great service, as well.

High price but great food, great variety of interesting rolls! And good selection for bringing friends that may not be soo into sushi, they have great Japanese food, not just sushi.

Came here before seeing a movie and was really happy with how fast service was and how fast our food came out. We had a seaweed salad, the assorted sashimi platter, the momo shake roll and the Mt. Fuji roll. I liked that they put tobiko on the salad cause it gives it a nice little pop in every bite. The one thing I wish was different was the sashimi platter came with 3 types of tuna and salmon, and just personally I wish there was maybe one less type of tuna and maybe some other fish but all of the pieces we really good nonetheless. The rolls were wonderful and I really liked the Parmesan on the momo shake roll. I’ve also ordered take out from here and the quality is just the same as you would expect in the restaurant.

Our favorite night out. Sushi here is the best in the city, specialty rolls are second to none. My wife and I love coming here.

Great food at a reasonable quiet small location attached to the mall.there is no door leading directly to the mall so you have to go outside if you are looking for it still close to the main entrances so it's easy access

The ramen is absolutely fantastic! There's quite a few different varieties to choose from on the menu with spicy and non-spicy options. The portion of the soup is easily enough to satisfy someone with a big apatite. For those with smaller stomachs you can take the rest home and have some delicious ramen for lunch the next day.

It's location also makes it a desirable stop whether you want to eat after a long walk through the mall, or if you're fueling up beforehand.

Normally love this place but the food doesn't taste as good as it used to. Beef tataki was way too salty and ramen was just okay.

I went to the mall and did not feel like eating mall food so I decided to try this place. I didn’t love it fish did not seem fresh and quality is not the best.very pricy for what you get. I kind of wish I stuck to mall food. I have tried better sushi elsewhere like Nami Sushi

They have good food. Service can be a little slow but if you're not in a hurry, it's a good place to grab dinner when you're done shopping at the mall

Tonkotsu was not bad. Definitely not the best in the city, but it's definitely the best bet in the South of the city.

I had previously given this restaurant a 5-star rating, but something has changed in the last 6 months. First the entire restaurant smells like a sewer. Every time I go in the stench is overwhelming. Second the staff used to be really helpful and they had good customer service, but now they are rude and really don't try and help. I went in today to place a large order for two platters to feed a group of people, when I walked in the door at 11: 30 I was told they were closed. I don't think they care about customer service.

This was my second visit to this location and again I had an amazing experience but I do have to make a small complaint.the dishes that I was missing and craving were no longer on the menue manly a tuna with sliced jalapeno hopefully they bring it back

Visited the Globefish location at the Chinook Mall. The Restaurant wasn't busy so we were seated quite quickly. The server was eager to get our order. Nothing really stood out for us o the menu. That said, once the order was placed.the food was delivered to our table promptly. The dishes orderd were warm for the most part (temperature wise). The taste was ok to bland. The tea was perfectly steeped

Really good experiences visiting this place within the last year, but this quick solo lunch wasn't quite as pleasant. Pork and egg was soggy, felt like they were left in the bowl for way too long. As you can see from the picture, that extra egg I ordered is clearly more fresh compared to the rest of the ramen.

Went at lunch time for a business meeting. Service was quick and efficient, no time for small talk. We selected a number of rolls and a couple of items from the sushi menu. It was all very tasty and fresh. We did not need a reservation, and we were seated quickly. A great dpot for a good lunch.

There's only a couple places that serve a tori paitan (chicken broth) ramen in yyc and this place does it deliciously well. I also love the chew on the housemade noodles. Go for the kuro garlic or the globefish ramen with chili sauce.
