Go RV Edmonton

If anyone is looking for an RV whatever you do, DO NOT buy anything from GoRV. The worst customer care ever! They sold us rv with only one out of three working AC units, upon our inspection they plugged it in to a battery bank for the units would show they were on but didn’t test as the battery bank wasn’t enough power to run them but promised they worked. One unit was wired backwards and another wires were frayed/cut So unfortunately when we found out we got the repair done at a different dealer because they were already doing extra work for us by adding a washer and dryer, this was just a better rv dealer than “go rv” we submitted photos to GoRV and they won’t cover costs of repairs. So there pre-inspection was just a lie, do yourself a favour and Just stay away from anything “GO”related. Liars and Con-artists

Amazing service they got me set up quick with the prices I needed and without any stress (Dylan killed it on navigating my brutal credit i have 587 and he helped me make it work granted I make good amount a month but regardless bad credit and still I made it!)

We had a great experience purchasing our new home away from home. Tessa went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She took the time to explain things to us and ensure we were well equipped.

At GoRv, we walked in to see a variety of floor plans and have a better idea of what we wanted. It was then we met Robbie!
He was welcoming, polite, and wanted to hear what we were looking for. He knows his inventory because the first trailer he showed us, we purchased.
There was no pressure, he showed us a variety of units, and wanted to know us better to really try and meet our needs. There was a moment, I felt anxious, overwhelmed, and uncertain what to do. We were able to go for a walk, think about our purchase, and allowed the time to process our decision.
Robbie gathered our information and Kyle assisted us in the finance department. Both gentlemen were accommodating, and supportive to our schedule. The whole experience was pleasurable and against my beliefs of 'salesman's'. We could not have asked for better.

I wouldn’t recommend Go RV to my worst enemy.
We have owned our trailer for a few years now and every time we have dealt with them we end up extremely disappointed.
The latest disappointment is with the adventure club. We were sold the adventure club membership which meant we could access firewood, propane, sani-chemicals, and toilet paper unlimited at our convenience. Within a year of purchase, the Go RV in Grande Prairie closed and we were told we could access Edmonton shop when we are around town. First time we were able to access we were told we were only allowed one of each item even though we live several hours away and only able to access once or twice a year.
This year we found out that we are still only allowed 1 of each item once per week and hours are 10-4!
Obviously this is more disappointment. And I’m not even venturing into all the issues we had with our trailer. It literally spent the 6 months after our first trip in their shop letting the warranty expire because our slide hydraulics broke.

Dealt with Shab great experience in sales and his manager Joe, finance manager Marcus had gotten us aporoved, big thanks to Tia in service ensured hiccups were dealt with when we picked up.

Looking forward to a fun summer and the free propane and firevwood.

After searching all over, and visiting many dealers, we met Wayne and he found us the perfect trailer for our small family.

The adventure club is amazing, when we come in for our free wood, propane and essentials, Butters never lets us down.

Worked with Dylan to get a new Travel Trailer over the span of a couple days. He was great at doing his best at answering any questions I had and trying to get the best deal for my trade and the new unit. Would recommend!

Experienced good advice and information when working with Shab on deals such as when my wife and I were selling to trade in. He was very straightforward and to the point of why offers were or were not a good deal and the recommended the best offer available.

I dealt with Shabari he was great. Very professional and answered all my questions. I was skeptical at first because gorvs prices are tens of thousands lower then other dealership I looked at but what really sold me was my consultant is a commission free rep and he went above and beyond. Some dealership that I walked into would not even talk to me let alone do what shab did for me. That being said if you want a fun no non sense experience call or email shabari right now. We had a great experience at GoRV Edmonton from our Salesman Eddie who battled the Edmonton winter weather on more than one occasion to allow me many tours of the trailer, to Finance Marcus who took the time the break everything down and answer any questions we had, to the trailer orientation with Chico who was very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor and last but not least Thejus who during our trailer orientation stopped by to discuss any further needs we may have and assisted us further. From the staff at the receptionist desk, sales / parts we felt well taken care and hope this positive experience continues as we are scheduled to pick up our trailer on May 01:)

I would like to extend this review to the Service Department Manager Chris, I identified some areas that required work prior to our trip out for May Log weekend and Chris assisted personally in working on these concerns, finding some concerns himself. Great experience dealing with sales member Wayne McNally. Too many options had me in over my head but Wayne took the time to share his knowledge with me to help me in making the best decision with my purchase. I will definitely be back once a decision is made. When inquiring on a RV, ask for Wayne, he's your guy. Thanks Wayne!

I cannot recommend Kevin Bergmann enough. He was more than professional and polite and answered all of my questions and gave me great advice. I went in looking for a small travel trailer and he showed me a few that were exactly what I told him I wanted. Even though I did not a purchase a trailer at the time I truly believe he could sell me a potato if he wanted. He was funny and made my experience so much better after hearing some not so great news about GO RV. He went above and beyond for me and I really wish I purchased a trailer from him but for now I will just tent it until I can go back and talk to Kevin. 10/10 would recommend!

I bought a Springdale rv from Shab from GoRv north. I delt with him a little over a year ago and I’m in love with the rv he suggested for me to buy. I needed it for work and he helped lead me in the right direction for the trailer that’ll suit the needs I needed.

Thanks again shab you’ve made my out of town work experience a lot better and more enjoyable! I will be back if I ever decide to upgrade my truck so I can get a bigger trailer for my family camping trips.

I agree 100% with Michelle. Absolutely terrible dealership, all they care about is pushing a sale on you and not explaining what all the extra costs are.would have been nice to been told the correct information before getting into an expesive unit.

I bought a 2006 Jayco Talon F36V. I bought it for my wife, and she absolutely adores it. The price was fantastic. The purchasing process was quick and simple, and the employees were extremely pleasant. It was a pleasant experience. Yes, I would suggest it.

I was initially concerned about the prices and purchasing from this site, but I would not hesitate to purchase another one from this site. This is something I'm going to recommend to a lot of people. I adore it.

I bought brand new trailer i ask my sales guy if the trailer has 30 pound propane tank he said yes and before i take delivery I call to confirm the tank the service and part guys said yes its 30 pound propane tank but when I went to pick up my trailer I saw it was 20 pound I went to ask my sales guy he said take the trailer and when u come back to fix something we will change the tanks and now they said they made a mistake they can't change the tank so plzz careful they will rip u off don't trust them I made a mistake buying the trailer from them at first they will be really good to u buy ones u buy it they will change and won't listen u so plzz careful dot be ripped off

Based on my sister's experience with this company. I would never deal with this company. They are incredible to deal with when you are purchasing.but after the purchase has been made.a whole different ball game. Their trailer has been an absolute lemon and they want nothing to do with helping them to get the issues resolved.

Please be sure to wait a few months before giving this company a review as their sales department is incredible.but their customer service is deplorable.

Purchasing through GO RV Edmonton has been a huge regret. One thing after another and have had a disappointing throughout the entire process. As first time trailer buyers, there was plenty of information that was not provided or properly communicated to us from sales through to service.

The sales team is simply rushing you for a sale and has little regard for your time and what you say. The finance people try to sell you expensive warranty that nobody even prepared you for which includes a key service that supplies you with a new key to your trailer if you drop it in a lake or lose it somewhere. We didn’t take it in the end, but it was highly recommended by finance. Then to our surprise when we picked up the trailer, our trailer had a keypad lock.

The service department rushed to get us in for an orientation and to pick up our trailer; however, it wasn’t even ready to pick up. We weren’t in a rush but our brand new trailer was dirty and had a number of deficiencies and factory defects that were never even mentioned to us before we got there. The service lady insisted that they were told by sales and finance that we were in a rush to get the trailer so they scheduled us as soon as they could. The lady was rude and insisted that she told my husband about all of the deficiencies when she had only mention one door panel needing to be replaced. They told us the parts would take 4-6 weeks to come in. It’s been over 2 months now and getting updates is like prying teeth. One lady in the service department does not respond promptly and another one doesn’t respond at all.

I was dumbfounded that we had to drop the trailer off for 2 weeks in order to have a two hour warranty inspection completed. On top of that, we had issues that were able to be repaired in time and another issue that occurred at pick up (due to their disorganization) which has forced us to miss out on a camping trip.

I would not recommend this location. It’s a disappointing and frustrating experience to go through while consistently babysitting their staff. Our issues are not yet resolved and it drains me to think of the effort I will need to go through to get the resolution.

I went to browse at GO RV EDMONTON, and was met by a very good sales representative Prasanth. He showed me a few different trailers nd found a nice little one for me and my wife. If you do contact GO RV Edmonton I highly recommend talking to Prashanth.

If there was 1/2 star that is what we would have posted for GO RV Edmonton. First of all we were clearly shown a solar ready trailer which we purchased. So to be ready we also purchased the two batteries and a solar portable kit to accommodate the 12 V fridge. When we picked up it was not the solar ready trailer and the items we purchased had not been installed.
We tried contacting sales manager and GM and they are not responsive to any emails or calls. Many other issues not mentioned with this dealership but buyer beware. We have filed complaint with AMVIC.

Contacted Go Auto RV from out of town to look at financing a trailer. Let them know the specific timeline I had before I would be back at work for 3 months and would not need it if it didn’t go through.

Weeks have gone by since asking for my $1,000 deposit back, with management, finance and my salesperson pressuring me to buy in September instead even after telling my salesperson multiple times I would not be moving forward. I live a few blocks away from this dealership and was looking forward to supporting someone in my neighborhood. Please note all this was fine over the phone, without ever setting foot in the dealership.

I finally was able to speak to the manager Lee Papirny. The sales guy was Shawn and finance was Marcus. Lee still refuses to give the deposit, even though we have texts and a receipt of deposit showing nothing on it that it is non refundable.

I asked Lee if we could get rid of the back and forth. I said, would you rather focus on customer service and helping people who actually want to buy vehicles from you? HE SAID NO. This man would rather waste everyone’s time on someone just wanting their $1,000 deposit back. This is very disappointing, especially reading all the awards Go Autohas gotten for trustworthy service.

PLEASE DONT BUY HERE. THEY KEEP YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. Our friend didn’t believe us, she is a client, called and talked to Lee and was so turned off by the entire situation. Safe to say that’s not a repeat customer,

Originally gave GO RV a 5 star but recently we discovered that an axle was installed wrong, we have only used our trailer a total of eight times with approximately 5000kms one tire was worn down to the steel belt, we took it back hoping that the service department would be able to assist us because it was not installed correctly we were told we were stuck with the bill, extremely disappointed with the service department not with just this item but with other warranty items we were treated just as a number I would not return my business there or promote their business!

I contacted GO RV to trade in my old camper and was passed to a wonderful sales representative by the name of Prashanth. He was very professional, and patient with me as I do have a very busy life with my family. He gave me the best deal possible and was able to get a new camper right away, I highly recommend talking to Prashanth.

When I explained I was looking for a small rv or camper for me and the kids he was happily able to assist me, he listened to everything I was looking for and found the best one at the best price available. He was very professional and did not try to oversell me anything I didn’t need. If you do contact GO RV Edmonton I highly recommend talking to Prashanth.

Although we do not live in Edmonton we have purchased vehicles through Go Auto. So when we decided it was time for a trailer we reached out to Thejus and his sales team and they were amazing helping us every step of the way. We changed our minds several times during the process on what we wanted/needed, but their expertise led us to the perfect unit (Going from a tent to a trailer is a big step). We're super happy with our Wolf Pup and the folks that helped us with our purchase. The day we picked up our trailer we really appreciated the patient walkthrough Conrad gave us, and the many questions we then had for Lavros who had many great tips for us, he went above and beyond in his dealing with us. These are two great guys who love their jobs and made our experience great. The whole team at Go Rv were awesome!

Not much room to maneuver a RV in their lot. And you can't drive around the back of the building. Caters to vehicles more then RVs. Stopped to get propane with our RV hooked up as we were heading out of town. Don't live in the city to get propane before hand. While there noticed our fresh water tank was leaking. Wasn't when we left the house sn hour earlier. Asked if a service tech could take a quick look. Was abruptly told no and that we would have to leave it. Not sure what part of heading out of town she didn't understand. Very frustrating.

Not impressed. Went to see a specific trailer. Listed at about $28K; a special for about $20K. Took awhile as the staff had to locate it. Represented as a three year old trailer when it's date of manufacture is nearly four years ago. The sales rep kept babbling, was annoying. Inside was the same as I saw from the photos, except for the mattress which had a stain in the centre which looked like someone had bled out. Stains along the edging which the rep also couldn't explain. Outside, amazingly she hadn't noticed the spot on the left hand wall where someone had torn out a piece of the siding (about 7' up and 2/3s to the rear) ; damage to the wood stud; open to infiltration of rain. And other minor surface damage. Eventually a conversation with the sales manager resulted in acknowledgement that no siding replacement would occur. Some sealant would be "slapped" over the 6"x8" area, and sold as is. $20K plus GST for a damaged trailer that may already have internal structural damage or water damage. Good luck to all who deal there.

I went to get a new trailer, and when i got there the staff were amazing.they answered all my questions, and were very polite and professional.we were introduced to Prasanth and he was able to get a really good deal for going on our next trip. I highly recommend speaking to him if you do go in.

Horrible customer service tried talking to them and dealing with them no one will reply back to my voicemails + emails from wanting more information and or leaving a complaint. Certain service work that we have asked for was not done when we have given them three weeks to do it. I wish I can feel good about my purchase but after dealing with them and has left a better taste in my mouth would not recommend go somewhere else.once purchase is made they don't care.

Came in hoping to look at a few RVs. We were in and out in less than 20 minutes. The sales lady (unfortunately do not remember her name) we had asked us what we were looking for. When we told her, she said they have none and got up to “double check”. She came back with who I assume is a sales manager, I don’t believe he even gave us his name or asked us for ours. He asked us what we were looking for so we told him. Before even telling us what they had in stock, he said “have you ever had a luxury loan before”? Not sure what that has to do with looking at units, but we responded “No. ” he then proceeded to tell us that “if we can’t qualify for a hot tub we won’t qualify for a RV”. This is offensive as he doesn’t know our situation, doesn’t know how much we make, have saved or our credit scores (until we shared defensively). This is the only place out of 4 we went to that asked us this question.

Sounds like they only want to prequalify people, not facilitate an enjoyable shopping experience. He reluctantly shared a few unit ages and pricing with us after we shared our annual income and credit scores. We specifically asked for Gas units and he tried to sway us into diesel.

Comparatively, the pricing he shared is significantly inflated for used versus the pricing we were given on new units.

Overall they were trying to prequalify us with their interrogation-style needs assessment because we look young and then met us with an argumentative and pretentious attitude. Don’t bother wasting your time here. There are plenty of RV stores in the city willing to demonstrate an enjoyable shopping experience.

Purchasing our trailer this spring was great, the sales person and other staff were great to deal with, however the parts and service dept.are a different matter, I have called the parts department multiple times and left messages and no one answers or returns my calls, which is very frustrating. I called another RV dealership and had an answer to my question on the first call and purchased the parts we needed there instead of Go RV. It has been two weeks now and I still have not had my messages returned from the parts department at Go RV!

What business doesn't accept a no financing cash deal? This one right here! After wasting time with the sales associate the sales manager informed us they would not sell us a trailer as we were not financing it. Guess they get a kick back and our money isn't good enough for them. Good luck running a business like this.

Bought a beautiful RV over the internet gave a deposit credit was approved then they phoned to say they sold my unit.classic bait and switch.bad ethics here or maybe all Go dealerships, not sure.but something to watch.

Matthew in Finance was extremely knowledgeable and made me feel super comfortable. I definitely felt like he was looking out for my best interests. I left feeling like my investment was well protected which gave me peace of mind.

The service department is terrible, I think giving them one star is being overly generous. Overbooking appointments, not guaranteeing their work, making things difficult to get recall replacement completed, not returning phone calls, and the list goes on. I’d have nothing to do with them but I have a credit that needs to be used. I admit I lost my temper when I was in the store the last time. I called the service manager to apologize and to see if we could make things better but was told I wasn’t welcome back. DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY! Once they get you to purchase a trailer then that’s when the value of customer service ends. I was called a consumer multiple times so their language even reflects the notion that you’re not of value.

They know what they're doing! I was there in October. My RV was making a weird noise and I had no idea what was wrong with it. They fixed it and i have not needed to go anywhere else since. Very knowledgable and helpful staff.

My wife and I went to buy a trailer a few months ago and the staff took time to show us all the trailers they have and explain the differences between them. We have been on the road ever since and have had zero issues with it.

I found nice trailer on kijiji price was 9.999$ after when I ask price go up to 14.999$ for no reason. They see people ar intrested about something and rise the price.such a liers!

If you’re In the Edmonton area there’s no better RV store that will take care of you like this one. Best sales and service I’ve received by far from any RV dealer (won’t mention the other dealerships they are good but not great like GORV Edmonton)
If you’re a first time RV buyer you should know these RV’s tend to have a lot of problems in the first year to get sorted out. The sales and service team have never let me down and keep me and my family camping. Get out there people!

Really great atmosphere had a great experience purchasing our trailer. Our sales person was professional and took the time to listen to our needs. Managers were extremely helpful as well. First time camping (With a trailer) will never go back to tenting again!

I wasn't initially happy camper, a number of things were wrong with my new 2020 Cougar 5th wheel. Thankfully they have Brittany Bouchard as the service manager. She looked after me big time. Cudoos to her!

Great dealership nice and clean lot it’s completely paved so you’re not walking on mud. Super friendly staff. Wayne is easy to deal with we haven’t purchased an RV yet but will definitely be coming back to see him!

Called in and spoke to Lee, he was friendly and seemed to know everything about our open range 26BHS we were trading in. GO RV was awesome to deal with!
Recommend trying the french vanilla the offer, was delicious.

Tried to trade in our 2014 Accent with extremely low Kms, which sells for about 8 or 9k on the market. The manager told his salesman to offer us 1500. It was a waste of our time, obviously trying to take advantage of young parents. Good way to ensure you never gain our business, I have been telling everyone I know go steer clear of Go Auto. Don't buy a car here unless you want to get ripped off.

BEWARE. This is my nightmare experience with Go RV Edmonton.
I bought a 2018,17 foot trailer for $18,000 trailer this spring. I am a Respiratory Therapist and working through covid-19. This was going to be my summer escape with my kids. There looked to be some small water damage on the inside above the bed. The sales guy told me it was no worry and they will inspect it and fix anything it need to prevent it from getting worse. I mentioned it to Fadi too.
I took it straight home and didn't use it for about a month. When I was getting it ready for camping, I filled the water tank and tried to put the hot water heater on and it didn't work, the water damage inside the trailer was worse. I even tried to use the microwave to heat water to fill the sink to clean the surfaces of the trailer and it didn't work. I immediately called go RV and they told me to try different things; unplug the battery, unplug the powder for 10 mins and so on. There was a DSL error. They said that they were so busy that they couldn't get me in over the summer. So, all summer I camped without hot water, no microwave and a leak getting worse before my eyes. They have no record of me calling or that I wanted them to check the water damage.
I contacted Fadi a few times because he said that he had an "in" and could get my trailer looked at within a week if there were issues. I would call or text him and he wouldn't get back to me. Once it was almost a when I texted again and he said he would get back to me and nothing.

I was able to get the trailer into Go RV on Sept 23rd and one lady said it has been past the 90 days but I couldn't get an appointment and another lady said the 90 days does nothing but have them look at the trailer.

Was I asking for much? Just wanted an inspected tailer that didn't leak, a working microwave and hot water because showers were not open this summer. For $18,000 and a lot more after paying for warranty. I don't think I should have to go through warranty and pay a deductible.

I will post again and let you know how it goes but this was going to be a happy thing for me and my kids during a time where you can't do much else. I feel defeated because I trusted them and I would never treat anyone like this. I will keep you posted.
