I have absolutely the best possible things to say about GoElectric. I am a first time EV owner!

My entire shopping experience from the beginning to the end was absolutely phenomenal.

Their website makes it easy for you to submit an inquiry and within the same day someone from the dealership, whether you're financing or buying the vehicle outright, someone will contact you within the same day.

There's no pressure at all from any salesperson. The dealership has a nice local family type of vibe.

In addition to that, the prices are exactly what you would expect from the Canadian black book. I found it to be an absolutely fair place for vehicle purchasing.

Everyone there is super welcoming and genuinely helpful. I also spoke with one of the owners, and he is a humble man. He's knowledgeable and is super appreciative of feedback.

Before you think I was paid to write this review, think again by checking out the dealership for yourself and talking to the people who work there. You'll know exactly what I mean!

Overall the establishment is a great place with experienced staff. The reason for the one star review is based on the conduct of one single employee. Eric is rude, combative and does anything possible to deflect blame away from himself. Before having the displeasure of dealing with eric I would have strongly recommended GO electric to friends and family; However after my poor experience I will no longer be doing so.

We went to GoElectric to learn more about electric cars, especially in the Calgary market where they are so hard to find. Rajko gave us so much of his time and really helped us understand what we were getting into. I highly recommend them to anyone interested in making the leap into the EV car market.

I have heard about this dealership for a few years so I trusted them enough to by a car remotely from Edmonton. They quoted me a reasonable price for the car I requested and took care of shipping to Edmonton. Communication with sales staff was good. Preparing the car for delivery took longer than anticipated but only because they insist on a high quality product. I will say I’m never loved an inanimate hulk of metal the way I do this car.

I asked the fine folks at Go Electric to find me a used electric car for our second car for use around the city and trips to the mountains.
They took care of all the details like making sure the battery was in great shape and even fixed a couple minor dings when the car arrived. I highly recommend stopping by if you are looking for electric car info or interested in an electric second car. There was zero pressure to buy and they are very knowledgable about all the EV models they bring in. Best car buying experience I’ve ever had.

GoElectric rocks! Super knowledgeable and friendly service. Now for my shouting-from-the-rooftops EV story. EV's are amazing for city-use, even in cold Calgary. One year ago (Dec 2019) we took the plunge and bought a 2016 Kia Soul EV at GoElectric. It has been a wonderful vehicle that we use for commuting all year round! Plugged into a 110 V outlet in our garage, it's always ready to go, with no trip to the gas station needed. And get this: I started tracking how much electricity we used for charging it, and between April and December 2020, we drove 5400 km and consumed 992 kWh at the plug. Assuming 7 cents per kWh, that's under $70! (Even accounting for added general charges on our bill, it comes to under $150) A little over a cent per kilometer! Compared to our old Subaru Forester, that's about 1/10th the cost! Holy moly! Anyway, thank you GoElectric, for helping us on our electric journey. This is seriously the nicest and most enjoyable car I've ever owned, and I feel it was very reasonably priced, even before it started saving me buckets of cash.

We love our « new » 2016 Kia Soul EV! Just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! Such a smooth ride in the city, as well as on the highway, and it has the little computerised luxuries modern vehicles boast – GPS, phone, voice command, and a detailed info panel, among other features we have yet to explore. We are SO happy and proud to not only own a 100% EV, but to also show it off to our friends, family, and work colleagues. We are excited to be a part of the solution to the climate crisis by supporting the switch to renewable energy, not only personally, but also by advocating the EV to others, especially here in Manitoba where they are like a foreign entity - there are presently only about 200 pure EVs in our province. We’ve had a few people claim: « Now I want one!  » after they’ve had a ride in our Kia Soul EV. We would recommend GoElectric to purchase an EV. Jim Steil was able to get us exactly what we wanted within a week of our sending in our pre-purchase contract, and he was able to navigate a few shipping challenges to have our vehicle arrive in due time to Winnipeg from its original location in California. His dedication to his clients is reflected in his hard work, conscientious attitude, and willingness to please. Thank you, Jim, and Go Electric!

Great company to help us get into an electric car at a reasonable price. Knowledgeable and helpful.

I bought my first electric car (used) a month ago from this dealership. They answered all my questions. I didn't have to negotiate, and it was a reasonable price. They fixed items on the car that I didn't expect. My car looks and drives like it's brand new, and is the best car I've ever owned. I would give them more stars if I could.
