Golf Dome Calgary/National Golf Academy

Attended seniors day morning group clinic. Started with 45 mins putting discussion (which was good, but just watching), then unlimited balls to hit. Not once did either instructor come by to offer me any tips, I just hit balls on my own. So all in all an expensive large bucket of balls.

Very good facility. There are lessons as well as golf sims.
You can get some simple foods and drinks but its not a place for dinner.

The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Sorry no pics. But the best dome in Calgary is back. Terry Carter and his crew are top notch. Friendly knowledgeable and very helpful. New range balls and the golf simulators are fantastic. Had a great time and will definitely be back for sure.

Great clean facility, lots of room, and knowledgeable staff. Hit balls in the dome, on two Car's, or putt around. I hit balls, purchased junior clubs, and had my woods regripped all with great service.

Very nice place to be. Mats and balls are in very good shape. Staff is efficient and friendly. Targets are fun to shoot at. Lots to like and nothing to complain about.

Would really appreciate distance markers to see how far each club/swing is going.
Great place otherwise. Really great to have a place to practice during the winter or rainy days.

Great to go hit some balls on a rainy day! Update 25-Dec-20: it looks like the last big snow storm collapsed the dome: (was a great place for winter practise this off-season, especially for the short game (100 yards and in) I really hope they get it up and running again!

Arrive 815pm to do a 30 min practice and the doors were locked. Young guy locked the door as we rolled into the parking lot. Called 3 times left a voicemail on the third call.

Update: got a call the next morning with an apology and an explanation which I was happy about. Seems to of been a coincidence with my timing and where the staff was inside at the time of my arrival at the front door. I'll give a second try for first impression.

I have been using the National Golf Academy dome for the last 4 winters to make swing changes in the off season. Finding a range that has golf balls in great condition is hard to find as most places keep the balls well past their usable life. But that is not the case here. It's nice to know your forged clubs that you paid big money for aren't going to be chewed up by beat up balls. The lesson packages are awesome and the coaches all have credence in the Golf Industry. And, the beer is always cold for when you challenge the boys to a round in one of the simulators they have.

No range finders which makes it harder to practice and it can be very expensive unless you find a sale price or group prices. Otherwise it's great

Great place to practice your swing without having to worry about mosquitos and Calgary weather.

I took lessons with one of the Golf Pros and have seen a huge improvement. I will definitely be back next year for a refresher before the season starts

Only complaint is that the facilities look like they could use a facelift. I don't think anything has ever been updated so don't be shocked if things aren't up to "par".

Good place to hit especially when it is cold outside. However inside is kind of dirty and isn't the greatest place to hangout in. Overall though good for practicing your swings.

The golf dome is good. You can take a full swing or you can practice shooting at targets etc. You can practice putting as well, or you can rent screen time and hit into a screen etc. Its a good place to warm up before you hit a real course.

Simulation golf booth was dark and was as cold as s rink.range was fine but wont play simulated again

The facility is very well maintained, bright and warm. The staff are friendly and helpful to improving your golf swing.

Buying a membership is very good value. Great place to go in the winter months to keep your swing intact for next year's golf season.

This place has it all. Clean, balls are good, lots of targets, friendly staff and Simply Golf on site!
