Golf Town

Staff was not helpful or knowledgeable enough to answer our questions. They also didn't take me (a female) as a serious buyer. Staff members said they didn't have the product I was looking for specifically but I found it on their shelf moments later.

Today my wife and I came into the Red Deer store in search of a new putter for my wife. We had the most positive customer service experience and I would give the review 6 stars if I could. She was helped by a gentlemen Maluk, if I had my own retail business I would hope that all my employees had the same amount of passion for their job as Maluk. He helped my wife with her putting and made sure that she was confident with her purchase. Maluk's customer service skills were some of the best I have seen and recommend anyone needing golf equipment to visit this store. This was also not the first positive experience I have had in store, the entire staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks to all the staff for such a positive customer experience.

Corporate should rethink their strategy of not allowing club testing with the simulator "due to Covid" if they want to sell clubs. It's not like you can't pick up any putter and try it. Nothing against this specific location and in fact they are quite helpful but just a review to reflect their corporate decision. Going elsewhere.

My husband and I went in looking for new irons. We were greeted promptly and were able to try out the clubs. Austin was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful when we wanted to make a custom order. We will for sure be coming back!

The service has really gone downhill. The staff seems for interested in comparing their golf scores then sell items.

Terrible experience. Was given a putter and driver head cover as a gift. Went in 27 days after purchase to inquire about options. Only option given was to keep my goods at home until I knew what I wanted to trade them in for. They didn’t even want the putter back on the shelf to sell, no gift card, store credit- nothing. Not any mention at all about a 30 day policy. Go in today, now well past 30 days- nothing for the $35 cover, and $60 for a $180 putter! Unreal- won’t be back.

Great store, very helpful in the pro shop. The only problem is everytime im there on the weekend i am unable to test out a driver i am wanting to buy due to the simulator being shut down. One would think you would make sure its available on weekends but thats just me.

Had a great experience here. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful and even allowed us to purchase our Under Armor pants at sale price even though the sale ended a day or so ago. Was much appreciated. Highly recommended!

Went to get a new shaft on my club was told to be done by Thursday I didn't show up on Thursday because the store closed early showed up on Friday wasn't even done. Was not happy my club wasn't done

Not knowing much about golf my boyfriend and I went looking for xmas presents, we looked but didnt know what to buy so I found the check out lady who worked there and she was so extremely helpful! She took us around the store asking all sorts of questions about the golfers we were trying to buy for! This gal had excellent customer service skills, so refreshing these days!

My husband had broken the shaft on his brand new driver. He was told by numerous places 1 - 5 days to repair it. The manager here managed to fix the club while we waited! Don't shop anywhere else for golf gear! Fantastic service.

Great experience at Golf Town Red Deer, visited the store during one of their store promotions. Glen and Brady went above and beyond for me. They were super helpful, informative and accommodating. I left with a beautiful new set of clubs and feeling like a valued customer. Looking forward to more shopping trips at this location.

Went into Golf Town overwhelmed with all the technology and trends. Left Golf Town confident, with a ton of great information and knowing what clubs are "for me". Knowledgeable staff and great help from the manager. Zero pressure to buy. They will have my business.

Stood there looking at clubs for my husband for quite some time, we were looking to purchase irons today. Left with nothing, because we were never asked if we needed help or even considered when the 4 staff members we did see walked by us without a greeting or even a nod. Had a wonderful experience at Discount Golf just down the road though! Were helped immediately, and purchased a new set of irons after trying out several brands!

Went into golf town to look at getting a new putter. Store was not busy the same sales person walked past me 4 times and did not even acknowledge my existence. I will not be going back here. Went to discount golf and the service is exceptional.

I guess I wasnt dressed the part because nobody offered me a hand. I went and dropped $1700 on clubs elsewhere
