Coffee is pretty standard for good Earth (so tasty!).
The rewards system is a bit of a mess, and the manager rings things through to minimize your free product.
I had a birthday drink and welcome drink, also ordered a cookie. Manager literally separated out the cookie and made me use the one free product on the cookie instead of the second drink. Didn't want to make a huge stink over it, but pretty cheap.
I got app Registration free drink at Crowfoot location finally:) Iced Coffee tastes very good! However washroom was not clean, chairs were broken. Too much free made no money?
Too bad! Rude staff, tasteless food, brewed coffee not even warm but heavily bitter, refused to give heavy cream on the side, the asparagus on the mac and cheese was burnt black while warming up and no reaction to whatever I asked for, instead she behaved as if saying eat it or leave it. NO #GOODEARTHCAFE waste of money, time, energy and insulting too.
Drinks and food were good. The person who took our order seemed standoffish and annoyed with us, couldn’t figure out why. Was disappointed that there is nowhere to recycle plastic.
My husband was at the Crowfoot Crossing Good Earth coffee house at 2: 30 pm on June 29th. He ordered a latte, met with a friend and drank his latte. By the time he got home he was shaking uncontrollably and became very ill. His entire mouth is covered with cold sores and he even had blisters in his mouth. He could not eat anything until yesterday.
Thinking back he said the cloth that the waitress was using to clean the machine was very dirty and the coffee did not look good. He got e-coil from cross contamination. This place needs to seriously clean up its act or it should be shut down to prevent this from happening to someone else!
Just stopped in for a quick coffee and boy was it quick. It was gone in 30 seconds because it was Luke warm. Walked back to the counter within a minute, same person and asked if there was a drip that was hotter. And low and behold there was. For another $3 Thought she might of got the hint that I wasn't too happy. Both on their phones. Place was maybe too busy to give better service. Can I take back my $2 tip from the first coffee? Thanks crowfoot My cups on the table.
What a wonderful coffee spot! Not dominated with the laptops with water crowd taking up space. Great coffee, decent selection of edibles. Great friendly staff who are fun besides! A place you can sit down to enjoy a good cup of Java! The complainers here must be the cup of water and a laptop taking up space for 5 hours crowd. No complaints here at all from me!
Very difficult young lady working the counter. Not welcoming to customers and always in a bad mood. Seen her several times and have never had a pleasant experience with her. Would suggest placing staff with good customer service skills in a front facing roles.
Very bad customer service. I normally love Good earth, the Sunridge location is great, but every time I’ve come here, the staff is rude and very condescending. I think the coffee was still good, but first being rude to me, and than while I was sitting being very rude to someone that said they had a medical exemption ruined the whole atmosphere. Definitely won’t come back here, I like relaxing when I drink my coffee.
Owner seems like a nice guy, but the store needs to have better customer service. The girl working the front seemed to have a attitude and seemed like she was in a bad mood. Leave your attitude and mood at home when you're working in customer service
I liked going to this location, the Chai Latte that had gotten today tasted really off it wasn’t even drinkable… had one sip had to throw out the rest. Which that is such a shame.tsk tsk,
Showed up at 5: 36pm and the door was locked even though the Open sign was ON and the sign on the door stated open until 6: 00pm on Fridays. We tried calling and someone inside answered claiming that they were tired their backs hurt and they were short staffed. Sad story indeed.
Further to the Owner's response: I fully support the fact that your health is top priority and do not have any issues with the fact that you were closed. In the future, out of respect for your customers, I would strongly suggest turning off the OPEN sign and perhaps hanging a CLOSED sign in the door, these two small steps could easily be achieve at the same time as locking the front door. Have a good night
Tried going there about 5: 30pm today (Friday) and it said they were open until 6pm both on Google and on their door. The door was locked but the open sign was on and flashing, and saw someone walking around inside. Called their store number to find out why their door was locked and someone answered and he said that they were short staffed and that his back hurt so he decided to close early. Disappointed to have made the drive there for it to be closed with absolutely no signage that it was.
There’s a young blonde girl that’s working every time I come in and she’s always so friendly, polite and helpful! She has a great knowledge of coffee and is always able to answer all my questions for me with great detail! The location is always kept clean and following covid guidelines! Coffee is always good and food is fresh and tasteful! My favourite coffee shop by far! Keep up the good work!
This place is a bit weird so ZERO stars. There are many people working but the service is slow. People behind of me in line were served before me and then when I asked for my drink and (very tiny but pricey) muffin they said it will take some time.
NOT a good place to study if you're also a student like me. If you sit by an outlet to plug laptop, the music speakers are too loud for a coffee shop. Sorry but Starbucks is good and right across the street. They are quick and inside is better.
Disappointed, slow service even though there are three people working. My vanilla latte I ordered was overly sweet, this place was not what it was like before.
DISGUSTING! I suggest people not to go here. I had to wait for 20 minutes just to get a latte and a fruit salad which was rotten. And someone who looks like the owner did not even know what he was doing, when I showed him the rotten fruit, he refused to pay me back and was extremely rude and walked away from the till. If you want to spend five dollars somewhere I suggest going to starbucks right across. Worst first experience. If one location is like this I bet all the others are too. Time to look for new coffee shops, who are friendly and give me what i am paying for.
Good place to catch up for coffee with friends. The atmosphere is "ok". Looks like it could use a refresh and update. It's not packed like Starbucks, but the drinks are priced as more than! Soooo. You've been warned. LoL
The drinks we got were good, but the barista was extremely rude and insulted both my boyfriend and I. Even though I gave him a ten dollar bill for my six dollar drink, he made my boyfriend give him money for my beverage. It was both strange and rude.
This Good Earth at Crowfoot has new management and are the same family running the Good Earth in Cochrane which is great! They are very professional, friendly and know exactly what they need to do to make customers happy. Now it will be my spot for every Friday morning coffee and meetings.
The coffee here is alright, but the food is definitely not fresh. Would recommend going elsewhere if you're looking for something to munch on with your coffee. Staff are friendly enough though.
I frequent here quite a bit as I've never really had a terrible experience. The owner that works there quite a bit I find to be friendly regardless of what other people say and they've hired on a couple new staff it seems, however they need to be properly trained. With all these different people, the drinks are inconsistent. I get the same cappuccino every time I go and sometimes it tastes burnt, sometimes they say they can't steam coconut milk, and sometimes it comes out perfectly steamed and foamy just how I like it. One girl that works there is particularly abrupt and rude, I'm not sure if it's a language barrier but if it's her I just get a tea to keep it simple. It'd be great if they had a plant based salad or something besides cookies for vegans. Otherwise I will continue to go, the atmosphere is fine and there's usually more sitting room than at Starbucks.
