I am a female who has been driving for about 60 years. I have dealt with many garages in the past and must say Good News Auto is one of the best garages out there. They really care about their customers, are very friendly, and are the most honest that I have come across over the years. I would recommend this garage 100%. Great job to all of your staff. Linda

It can be really hard to find an auto shop with integrity that you can trust! Good News is the place to go! You can trust what they’re telling you, they do a fantastic job and their customer service is incredible! No Better place to in Edmonton.

I had my front brakes, pads and rotors, done this week at Good News Auto. The shop is clean, the staff are friendly and efficient and I saved $222 over what my car's dealership had quoted me. I am a very satisfied customer!

I've bought tires here twice. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful in getting me the tires I wanted for my Truck and SUV. Both times I shopped around for the best price on tires and nobody could match their prices! I highly recommend anyone go to Good News Auto!

Oh my gosh, I absolutely love that I found this shop. Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. My actual bill was less than the estimate. Everything was finished in less than the time quoted and I was called right away. When I picked up my car everything was explained to me and parts removed/repaired were there to be shown to me.
My husband has a brain tumour and I have breast cancer and I don’t have anyone to honestly advise me on car repairs. I truly feel blessed to have found this business. They tell me if things need to be fixed right away
or can wait a year. They chart this info, so it is rechecked next time I come in. They don’t nickel and dime me.
I don’t know how many times I have referred them to others. I feel very safe in their experienced hands. Bravo, Good News!

Good News Auto is the only shop myself and my company will take out work to. The most trustworthy mechanics, and owned by Chris, who has more integrity than I’ve seen in any business owner. The manager, Jesse, is so helpful and honest. I don’t know anything about mechanics work, and he is always helpful in explaining everything clearly.

If you have a hesitation about trusting auto shops, this is the one for you!

It is bad news auto. I don't recommend it to anyone. I got my brake fluid flush done from them and turned out they did such a bad job that moisture content was the same as before at 3% (I got it inspected after fluid flush). They refused to offer any refund.
When they did the 2nd fluid flush, they made us wait for 1.5hrs. It is only a 20 minute job. And, we had our baby with us at that time. Extremely poor customer service.

Well I had this huge angry write up that I was going to use but to be honest I am just disappointed in bad news auto. I had a gut feeling after the "technician" talked to me. So I took my cars to a more reputable company for a second inspection.all is good now on my end.

Consistently overcharge for standard work, the last time I came in they claimed that they didnt hear the sound that my vehicle was making and quoted me $2000 for an unrelated issue. I took it to Wilsons and they said the sound is obviously the alternator, and for under $1500 they replaced it AND fixed the unrelated issue that Good News quoted me at $2000 alone. Also the sound is gone since they replaced the alternator and the car drives much more smoothly. If you have a toyota or honda, I would highly recommend Wilsons.

Never disappointed with the service and pricing here. Also very conveniently located close to my place of work so bonus to drop off.

Typically great prices, honest mechanics, nice atmosphere. Very convenient to be able to communicate over the phone quickly (haven't been put on hold for more than 30 seconds) or via email including written estimates (that are actually accurate if not slightly high, never experienced that at a mechanics before!). And they can typically get the car in quick (usually within 2 days). You can also feel good knowing the profits go to help the less fortunate with their car needs.

If you are price conscious you should get a second quote as occasionally their price comes in high, they wanted over $150 (about 30%) more for a transmission flush than a transmission shop quoted me and they mis-quoted tire prices once but were quick to fix the tire quote when I pointed it out (I used the Canadian Tire prices for comparison).
Overall a very good shop. I use them for most anything I hire a mechanic to do. Only real problem is if you have something break and need it fixed fast they never have any immediate spots available so you will have to wait a couple of days without a car before they look at it usually 2-3 days in my experience).
