Booked Gord's Appliance last week for a dishwasher repair visit Wednesday and they were a no-show! No phone call follow-up, no email, no apology - nothing. Very disappointing service indeed!
Weeks later, they still haven't bothered to respond to a request for service made via the request form on the front page of their website. Luckily, one of their competitors responded the same day and completed the job the following day.
A rep went out right away to look at a broken washing machine and fixed the door lock. However it stopped working again so he went back and assesed it could be 2 other parts that would cost me $1400. My partner decided to look at the washer after the second assessment and finagled with some part near the door lock and it started working and hasn't been a problem since. So although it does seem like the rep assessed it properly the first time I'm upset he didn't go back and fix his faulty job from the first time and would have charged me $1400 to fix things that weren't the problem. Then I had to call a couple times to get my invoice. Overall the experience wasn't great
Very trustworthy, knew what he was doing. My Miele dishwasher is now working. Gord even knew what the problem was, last plumber didn't. Thank you so much.
