Earlier this spring I purchased a bank repossessed 2020 Corvette from Graham Auctions. I bought it sight unseen and had it shipped to Ontario.

The true measure of a company is not a seamless transaction in most cases but how they deal with any issues that may come up. Buyers also need to realize how actions work, what their obligations are under the auction terms, and keep this in mind when bidding. Auction companies will have little to no background information about on repossessed items.

Due to the way vehicles are titled in Ontario versus Alberta I ran into some issues. Not only were they handled, but they were handled quickly, efficiently, and with care. These days we are relegated to leaving voicemails and sending emails, often chasing people, all to receive little to no reply. Replies also tend to be very slow to happen. Well, let me say this, Mike gave me his personal cell number and was great with getting things done. Both during and outside of business hours. He went above and beyond in trying to procure items and past service history. Mina in the office was quick to be available, and to assist me as well. Brian was also excellent to deal with and readily available.

A quality staff is hard to find and speaks volumes about the owner, and manager Mike.

Mike, thank you and your staff for all your help, with my purchase. If I'm out your way we'll go for that dinner and drinks.

Same day ofter 1 hrs later when I call him car engine is not doing good and I put the car mechanic shop and he check it we need head gasket. Like new engine

They checked my car and ofter saying go to dealer ship certificate
They know dealers charging to much money and tacking too much time
It’s scam plz don’t trust him.
All the time they are looking just commission to make his pockets are full

Most of the stuff are from costco. There price and xostco price are similar. What is the used of buying from them. When the price are similar with the costco. Thy need to lower those products price

Costco returns to cars this auction has a wide variety of deals to be had as is where is have fun.

This place is a maze of treasures and everyone works hard, quickly and efficiently to find all the items. Get them loaded in a wagon and send them on their way.

When people buy on hibid, don't send them an invoice saying they can pick up at 6pm and then be rude when they show up at 5: 10. Try consistency next time.

Been a buyer on and off for years, but lately they've tried making the payment and pickup process as ineffective as possible. Rather than parking and walking over to get your stuff you now have to wait in a line in your car for 30min and drive in, what a waste of gas, and terrible impact on our environment.

Least helpful of several auctions I deal with. Not even a phone call before they claim items paid for by out of town buyer.

Couldn’t say enough about this auction house. Was my first time buying a car from an auction and I failed to do any due diligence leading up to the auction and bid blindly online. (Lesson learned). After picking up the vehicle, a number of serious issues were noticed. After speaking with the team at Graham about our concerns, the vehicle was sent in for a deep inspection. It turned out the engine in the vehicle had some very serious issues and we were able to return the vehicle for a full refund. Truth be told, I did not expect this at all and was quite surprised as to how helpful the Graham Management team was as we navigated this. This is a top notch run auction house and I was lucky that the vehicle was so badly misrepresented by the seller. The next time I get a vehicle at an auction I will be going back to Graham and I will for certain be looking at the vehicle in person ahead of time with a mechanic by my side. (Yes this is all doable leading up to any auction there) :)

Very impressed with the care and professionalism with which Graham Auctions managed the sale of my late son’s estate. This was admittedly a complicated sale but Graham’s found the audience, won good prices and also managed to communicate with a family 3000 kilometres away. We chose Graham because of its obvious impact In the marketplace and were not disappointed. In Calgary and Southern Alberta this is the place to go to both sell and buy at auction.

Features great products and have clear photos for reference. Easy to bid and very convenient online auctions. Transaction is fast and reliable. Pickup is easy and staff very helpful.

Terrible experience, I have bought broken stuff multiple times. Even when labelled "tested" you cannot trust anything. Their testing must be the most superficial imaginable. I bought a Vitamix that was labelled "Tested" but the speed potentiometer was busted. Bought a stand-mixer (again, supposedly "tested") and it makes a loud grinding noise that is not normal. Even food can't be trusted, if a liner or seal is broken, they just tape it up and claim it's good. And of course, nothing can ever be returned, even if you were lied to. Truly terrible experience.
Also, their pictures are the worst. They are blurry, from bad angles, they cut out important details, and for most things there is only ever one picture.

The place is super well ran and organized in that everything is easy from registering to bidding to picking up ur stuff they have a great system!

Even when they pivoted to everything online it was still easy to pick things up and bid online

Amazing deals can be found at this auction! The bidding process is easy and straightforward. They are always organized when I need to collect my items.

Found the bidding easy and pick up was well organized and all the products bought were brought correctly to the vehicle.

You can find some great deals here, and it’s easy to do online! Just take into account the pick up time. I have gone once and it was empty (before closing on a Monday) and once on a Saturday and waited almost 2 hours. They have extended hours now which have helped.

Lots of selection in auctions. Repeat customer and Graham staff were quick to resolve the 1 minor issue that did arise.

One of the best auction place in Calgary, you'll find all kinds of things here, online platform could be better with fast loading.

I was extremely disappointed with Graham auctions. I bought a used E bike that I knew was missing a key. It was posted as the only thing was the missing key. I tried it and the gears were completely shot. They said it had been tested. I had to pay $175 to get them replaced. When I drove back to Graham auction to speak to someone they brushed me off and said they couldn't test it as the key was missing, although earlier they had said it was all working. But as soon as I got it I charged it without the key I knew the gears didn't work.

Good stuff and if you find something not appropriate, according to description they will change it or give your money back.

Lots of fun getting things from Graham auctions! Staff are very friendly. Buying items online every Saturday is super easy, pickup times are flexible, can't wait until I can go back in person to see lots though since covid has put a stop to that.

If you know your products this is the place to get great deals. Just remember it is like any other auction and so be sure you know the product before you buy.

This is a well organized auction. I have been able to score some great deals on clothing and furniture! Pick up is also well organized and easy, and staff very friendly and helpful.

I LOVE Graham Auctions! I have become a regular buyer with a diverse product selection each week. It saves me time and money to bid online with auction system. The product is described and sold as is and I have never been disappointed. The staff are always efficient, professional and friendly, on the phone and live to greet me with my pick up.

I get disappointed when I log in to participate in the bidding to often see the bidding has made the item more costly and less of a bargain than we can find for same item on Internet searches! So what is the point of using your company more.

Love their auctions! Pick up and location is less than stellar but the staff are always helpful! Have gotten some amazing finds for great prices!

You can find some pretty decent items here but most of it is Costco returns or surplus. They sell a lot of furniture (some new, some used, some removed from packaging), autos, and stuff from businesses that have shut down, the auction I bid in had a lot of Costco and gym type items. I would like to point out that the purchase was made on my husbands account, so for any rebuttal coming my way from Graham Auctions about my "user name" not being one of their clients, my husband is, and I did the bidding on line, so.

I'll start with the good, the ladies who answer the phones are great and super helpful, if you know your prices you can score some great deals here and I was informed that there are days where you come for the viewings prior to the auction to ensure the item is in good shape or not used (the on line description is very vague) ; the actual bidding is all on line and you can set your high bid and not babysit your item.

The bad: The auction starts on Saturday morning, if you like to sleep in you will have to be up around 8: 30-9 to bid if you didn't set your high bid prior. The location is off a dirt road off of McKnight Blvd and if you are not familiar with the area you can miss it, expect to wait in line in your car for curbside pick up for at least an hour! I was about 10 cars in and it took a better part of an hour, by the time I was in and out it took an hour and 15 min and they only allow 2 cars at a time to pull in so expect to wait a VERY long time to get through. Print out your invoice at home and bring it with you because the older fellow who is handing them out is constantly in and out of the office getting invoices for the cars that didn't print theirs off. It would just make much more sense to do it all digitally and have the guys in the back look for your items with an invoice number. There is only one or two guys in the bays that get the orders, they are nice enough but they are super slow and if you have several items it will take a while as it appears that the items you win are not stored together, they have to go look for them item by item.

One of my wins was in new condition and I was pretty happy with it as I got it for about 25% off the retail price. My second item was not boxed or stored safely, just taped up and had some chips on one of the items- for glassware at least some plastic wrap or cardboard would have probably prevented that. Be forewarned that there is an auction commission of 12% on each sale- its not much but consider that in your bidding that you will be paying a little more than what you think you are paying.

Unless there is something specific you are looking for I would say save your Saturday, the nightmare pickup and the chance you will get something damaged and just go to Costco where you cannot beat their return policy.

2 Stars for the awful curbside pick up, I won't be a repeat customer, my time is much to valuable to maybe score a deal and get a little savings whilst having to lose an hour of work to pick up said items, I do not shop on boxing day and this is just a worse version of it.

Graham Auctions, the potential is there but you totally lost me on the 1 hour and 15 min pick up! Perhaps hire more warehouse workers or streamline your pick up for more days or a couple of extra evenings for people who work 9-5 during the week. Your website could use more info as well, perhaps add a tab for newbies and what to expect and the process laid out.

What a great place to get quality items for a reduced price. I got a brand new computer chair that is worth over $300 for $80. Wahoo!

As a first time bidder, I was a bit unsure of the process for pick up. You can go at any time, however, I do not recommend going on a Monday - it was a crazy long line up! Once you arrive in the yard, call into the front office to get a printed copy of your receipt. Then drive through the automatic gates to the open warehouse door and give them your receipt. Stay in your vehicle. They will bring your item (s) out and will load it into your vehicle for you.

Better to choose Costco. They are selling Costco products at extra price with 18.5% tax.went there first time it was very bad experience, bought some furniture loading staff was very rude and were denying to help loading as one guy said i don't have energy to load today come tomorrow and second guy said its not a part of our job to load things in cars even me and my wife was helping them.bought queen bed frame, they dissembled it very badly they cut some of the screw rather than opening, after assembling all parts got to know all we were at big loss.no return policy at all.

Bought a vehicle which turned out to be junk anyways. But, my bad review is for their customer service. They literally called me after one week of picking up my vehicle and told me i have won gift card worth $100. Now when i was there, csr lady told me there is no gift card on my name. So basically i drived from so far to collect this card and turns out "people already claimed their gift card". Well i dont care about 100 bucks but this kind of customer service is definitely not worth my time. Never looking back to this guys!

Paid for my items days after the auction just to find out they resold the items I purchased. They wouldn't refund my money after the fact. Quite the scam, they can sell an item multiple times and just tell people it's been resold with no chance of a refund. Getting paid multiple times for the same item.is that even legal? Definitely not ethical.

Worth checking out! I hadn't been to a public auction in Calgary before. After my first couple of experiences at this place I have to say it was a blast! Got a deal on some furniture, and they even sell cars!

Its not so good anymore. And the people keep bidding on item that you can get for new at the store for cheaper. I dint think people know its items return from Costco. They are damage items. Why pay full price. And don't try to complain that the item you got is completely garbage not working. They won't return the item. And dont buy it online website. Go and check it out first. Its returned items. Not new. Its damage some how.

Fantastic auction in person and the staff are absolutely amazing except for one arrogant, young fellow whom I've had the displeasure of having to deal with on occasion. Online bidding is very questionable as they take one bid increment above your max bid as the starting bid into the main auction instead of your highest winning pre-bid so something to be aware of as this is not the normal online procedure at other auctions but the government allows them to make their own rules for online bidding but no other auction operates this way.

Front desk staff were incredible rude. Will never come by again. Worst customer service I've ever experienced.

The customers that sell there vehicle bid on there own vehicle so they may make more profit on it. I sat their and watched people for 2 hours and observed dealers, mechanic, and auto body mechanic trying this on poor people that save there money that they have saved for years to buy a reasonable car and get scammed. Be careful most of the cars have problems with motor or transmission. These people also go to REGAL AUCTION. Thanks have a good day.

Good but be careful. I believed the comment about condition of electronics, the Sunbeam LED did not work, I went to replace but I got told nope, "as is" too bad for you.so I dunno. There was no comment that I could find. With that I'm out, I'll just watch for sales instead. Their loss, spent a lot of $$ there over the years. We had done really well so I'm not going to give a 1 or a 2. Sunbeam? Avoid! We've had our biggest losses there. Go for no fail items like home renovation items, floors and such. Kitchenware, food. Be extra cautious online. You can't tell if it's a return a salvage or what have you. Returns are your highest risk, it's been returned for a reason. It's funny someone commented about the ghost bidders, we've joked about the same while attending. Know Your Prices! David B makes a point, but there's no mark up, it's a bidding system, do your homework and know/stick to your limit. Happy Bidding.

I am a first time customer, and I am impressed. I managed to get a few items I was after. I even got twice as much of something, as I didn't realize it was 2x the picture, not the 2 boxes pictured. The only suggestion I have for Graham Auction is to provide one weekend or evening time slot for pick ups for your general merchandise auctions. 9-5 Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday limits many potential buyers on their ability to participate. This will hold me back from further visits, as my transportation is limited to evenings and weekends.

I've given Graham 2 Dodge Caravans to sell and both times they got exactly what I was looking for. After a small fee being taken, it's a super clean way to get rid of a vehicle.

Graham auction buys their items from Costco at a heavily discounted price. They then list a higher retail price on these items than what Costco sells for with a warranty. They also place fake online absentee bids making bidders pay higher. This is highly unethical and illegal. Majority of their electronics do not work. They will place their furniture in such a way that you cannot see what the damage is. Bidders are unaware and end of spending more than the items are worth at retail.

If you are buying a car be careful as they allow actual owners of the cars to bid on their own vehicles.

Also the 200 positive reviews you see were bought with a $15 credit. This is their sign "Did you have a good customer experience at Graham Auction? If so, talk to one of our staff members about how you can get a $15 credit" Help us help you". What a joke get a good Goggle review for a $15 credit. Will attach a picture of their sign also.

Like this place. Easy to deal with. Only trouble is you should pick up your stuff right away. Some might be outside in the weather

This is my first time buying at an auction.i purchased on line and I messed up.right from the time I phoned Grahams to see what I could do to fix my problem.the lady on the phone made me feel so relaxed and so special.it seems like a family run business. Then I dealt with Mo in the warehouse and he was just a sweet.took a lot of time to show me how to get the most out of the process and helped me fix my error. (I had purchased a front loader that was too big for my condo). I am def going to be a regular here now.great deals.

My late husband and I bought many, many things over the years during our Saturday mornings at Graham Auctions. When I tell visitors where we got our gorgeous lacquer coffee table, the brand new hallway chest, the perfect wall light scones, or any of the myriad other items we have bought on auction to furnish our home, they are always amazed at the quality and the price. The staff at Graham Auctions is like an extension of my family. They always remember me and are unfailingly friendly and help.
