Grande Banks Medical Clinic

I used to like coming when they first opened, but it's a bit of a gong show now. I had blood work done back in 2021 that had showed I have low ferritin levels and when I would go in and say that I think something is wrong with me the doctors would just prescribe me with Ativan assuming that it was anxiety related. They never even bothered to look at my bloodwork. I wish that they were more thorough

My daughter pediatrician is amazing so helpful, supportive and goes above. I've seen walk in doctors here, they are caring and fast for a busy clinic. The staff is nice too.

Worse experience…. No point of doing online appointment. Still have to wait for long time… staff is totally irresponsible.

The front counter ladies are the best but the “Dr’s” totally different stories. My husband was missed diagnosed for over 3 months for something that could have been seen by a simple X-ray that he never did and fixed with antibiotics and now he will be in the hospital for a minimum of a week. He literally told him there was nothing he could do for him. A week later my husband was rushed to the hospital….

Doctor Al Masoudi Faisal was very rude to me won't listen to me a s i have on going health problems told me go to a different walk in clinic pretty sad i tell i am also a student in college doing my MOA and this made me not even want to be working in the medical field i never got back to that clinic again very unprofessional

The place is a joke, your treated like cattle. You can't make a follow up appointment. They just keep giving out different prescriptions with no yests

This clinic is just as bad as the ER at the GPRH, the male doctor doesn't even listen to your problems and suggests something that has absolutely nothing to do with your problems you're currently having. Alberta health care is a complete joke. Stick to your regular physician who listens, not these idiots who just assume without actually examining you. Turns out they completely missed the actual issue/diagnosis I was having, what a surprise, learn how to listen instead of finding ways to belittle others to get them our door faster, that or stop practicing medicine all together.

Worst doctors I've ever encountered & almost killed me twice. Was supposed to refer me to a prostate specialist & instead refered me to a circumcision & vasectomy specialist, both procedures I've had many years ago. Straight up ignorant to me as well with every visit. Total scatter brains & most likely paid off bye the WEF! Worst doctors in Canada hands down!

Grande Banks Medical Staff go above and beyond to make sure their clients are taken care of. I love the fact that you can walk-in and have a call back within an hour. My wife and I have gone here multiple times in the last 6 months, every time the customer service is above and beyond. I'm normally not one to leave a review unless I truly believe in it, keep up the hospitality, we need more of this in Grande Prairie!

The ladies at the front are nothing but helpful and informative! Always friendly. Love how I don't have to sit and wait using a walk in, they will call me back at my appointment time.

Unorganized horrible waits.
Arrived at 0800,3rd in line. Once they open the doors at 0900, it's like black Friday as they hand out forms for everyone to fill out. Knowing this messes up the order you get called I had all my info ready. I handed the form back within a minute. Then I say for 2 full hours while watching everyone behind me in the line get called in. 2 full hours plus an hour waiting outside. Eventually gave up and left. On-top of that, the single doctor didn't arrive until 0922 and the other 2 times I've visited, he's so quick to rush you out.

You're better off to just self medicate and go into work.

Arrived at 8: 30am before open. Made me wait over an hour and thirty minutes to tell me that somehow I have to wait two additional hours because I handed my form in too slow and correctly? Wasn’t polite about it and kicked other families out that were there earlier.

Went for a medical doctor asked his questions without even looking at me not once! Until I said "broken heart" in context of talking about my cardiovascular system. Then we made eye contact had a chuckle I paid my fee went and renewed my license.

Doctor was great (the first and only appointment) until we went to make an appointment a few years later.we were told we no longer have a family doctor because we neglected to make the yearly appointments. We were NOT INFORMED we were required to make these appointments and the clinic NEVER reached out to us to schedule anything. Sucks to be without a doctor, but it's for the best if they neglect to inform their patients of the most basic requirements. I'd hate to see what else they don't inform people of.

An amazing walk in clinic with professional and friendly staff that really work hard to help as much as they can. It’s a walk in clinic, not a drive through, you will wait; unless it’s an emergency and then I assume you will go to the appropriate service for that. Also, this is not your regular doctor, and they are doing their best to ensure the best care and the best solution based on what they can find out during your appointment. If the solution doesn’t work, then you need to go back: it happens. I would much rather go here and wait, rather than wait weeks for my regular doctor (if my need for help is immediate) or bother emergency (if my need for help isn’t life threatening). Highly recommended and grateful for their help.

Being new to Grande Prairie and not having a family doctor, I called Grande Banks Medical Clinic to see if an appointment was required, I was informed: "No just walk in". I was there mid morning, so patients had started to accumulate. I was told it would be an hour wait and they would phone me just be my appointment time. Awesome. I left and did errands, it was wonderful and in an hour I went back, I took a seat and in 10 minutes I was talking with the Dr. Hssunei who is very accommodating, friendly and we agreed on not taking blood tests unless absolutely necessary. (I prefer NOT to cost the system for tests that are not required). Maybe Next year! Lol. So, now all good for 6 months. Thank you all for your smiles, friendliness and feeling welcomed. You all showed a lot of patience with dealing with the people coming in and answering their questions! I noticed NO one got upset or impatient.very nice atmosphere. I HIGHLY recommend Grande Banks Medical Clinic! Shine On!

Wait times can* be long but I promise it's 100% worth it.
Been attempting to seek care in town for years, every other clinic shrugged me off and told me to buy advil. Never worked.

Dr. Hssunei was beyond amazing, she listened to my concerns and what I had to say. She immediately began asking questions and gave me papers for bloodwork. Amazing communication, I've never felt more seen or heard by a medical professional in GP.

Went for a med refill- waited almost 2 hours, it was understandable, pretty busy place. They did however seem all over the place, walk-in patients being called in before others who had walked in before.

I got in to see the dr, and he didn’t seem to listen to me and didn’t understand what I was asking. Gave me the wrong prescription, instead of reprinting it, he just crossed it out and rewrote it. The pharmacy had to figure that out and the dr also didn’t sign the prescription, so the pharmacy had to call them- 3 times asking for a fax!

Doctor wouldn't listen when I told him it's my right side of my abdomen that was hurt he just kept repeating that I had back spasms across the top of my back from left to right and down my side. He didn't say anything about the big bruise on my bac and i brought it up multiple times. Didn't even look at it. And Didn't prescribe any pain killers, last few days I've hardly been able to move. Brutal. I'll just wait at the hospital next time. P.s. All the other staff were great tho!

My children and I have seen Dr. Hssunei for years. She had always been professional, empathetic, helpful, and friendly. At various times throughout the years we've seen the pediatrician there, and I would imagine most, if not all, of the other Doctors working in the clinic. I've found them to be thorough, generally understanding, and kind, as well. The office staff is friendly, efficient, and helpful, even during a rush.

That indian doctor.will tell you to get your covid test before he can go near you, then he told me I could of gottena false negative so you cant touch me at all.he told me try these meds if they dont work come back. 1 week later I went to hospital because pneumonia.i had early symptoms of it and refused to check.ship him back to his country.why can't we rate 0 out of 5
