Experience was a mixed bag. Service was good. Restaraunt was decent. Our room in the annex building was fair except the beds were terrible. Matress had a bowl shape that made sleep ellusive and hurt my back (as a young dude). Entrance to the pool is a long narrow door-width hallway that gets really congested. Lighting in the pool area is really sub par. Daughter cracked her head on the waterslide, its a fast one.

My 3yr-old nephew enjoyed the kiddie pool with waterslide. And we, adults, enjoyed the indoor-outdoor hot tub!

ALERT! Do not book this resort or any of the Bellstar Resorts. Grand Rockies Resort website does not post in their policies alerting customers they have the right to cancel or move reservations to another hotel! My sister booked the Grand Rockies Resort in January for family & guests to stay while attending her daughter’s wedding in November in Canmore. She booked this resort for the onsite restaurant, the pool & water slide & the size of the rooms. We booked in January 4 suites for our 3 night stay; all under my niece’s wedding reservation. This reservation was made 10 months prior to the wedding in November. In addition they have had a $900 deposit for 10 months & I also received 4 confirmed reservation emails stating my rooms were GUARANTEED with my visa. The resort emailed me; with very little notice, informing me our 4 reservations were moved to another hotel, stating it was an upgrade! Smaller rooms, no restaurant on site, & no pool with water slide. How is this an upgrade? I immediately contacted Lauren to advise her this would not work for my family. *I explained I am the primary caregiver for my 86 year old mother (grandmother of the bride) who is travelling from out of town with me & staying 3 nights at the Grand Rockies resort. Prison Porridge. Wow.booked a meeting in one of their meeting rooms and ordered a catered breakfast at $26 per person. This is what they served my guests.what an embarrassment. High school cafeteria food at best.watery scrambled cold eggs. GO ELSEWHERE!

We had a great experience with this hotel. I wanted to give my opinion on certain criticisms that are common among the reviews:
1. The facilities are a bit tired, particularly the suite kitchen. That said, outdated cupboards and bad lighting didn't impact our stay so I am not factoring these things into my review. I do understand how this may be off-putting, though.
2. The parking situation. It was a bit annoying to get out of the car to punch in the code every time, however, having underground parking was a perk so no negative points from me.
3. The staff. We did not have any issues with staff being rude or unwelcoming. In our experience, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

All-in-all, we had a wonderful experience and I would happily book this hotel again.

Various concerns with the guest suite. Suite comes with a full kitchen but does not come with full utensils or cookware. The only cutting knives supplied were steak knives and a bread knife. Wanted to cook some chicken fingers and fries but did not have a baking sheet to cook them on. When we asked the front desk for something to cook them on they brought us an aluminum oven liner. The suite had multi-head showers and jet tub. The shower in the main bath had the controls removed so only had a handheld shower head that did not stay in place. In the master bath, the controls for the multi-shower heads operated, but the drain did not drain and the small heads were mostly plugged so the water coming out of them stung when it hit you. We did not try the jet tub, looked and smelt mouldy. After our stay I told the representative at the front desk and he informed me that they only managed the suite and that the suite was owned by a third party. Very disappointed as I thought I was booking with a hotel/resort, not a private residence.

Booked here for our stay when I proposed, and again for our engagements shoots. I absolutely love this place and my now wife and I have booked here for our wedding stay with party. Everyone just loved this place, great staff, AMAZING restaurant with the best and most friendly chef. Recommend everyone here

Canmore is amazing so it's location is good, quick access to the highway leading into Banff. The place could use some refreshing and is very loud. Overall pretty ok, not great but worked as our base camp for the week.

What a horrible experience. The AC in the room didn't work. I complained for days before they had it fixed. And when they did fix it, they left trash, tools, and a huge bucket of dirty water sitting in the living room. It was so gross. Everyone was really hot and uncomfortable and did not sleep well. This had a big impact on our ability to enjoy our vacation. There was one plate, one wine glass, no dish towels, and no pans to cook with in the kitchen. We bought food because there was supposed to be a full kitchen, which there was, there just wasn't anything in it! The dining room furniture was falling apart. There was trash under and around the furniture in the living room and bedrooms. The room looked like it hadn't been cleaned properly in ages. And I paid over $800/night for this! Unbelievable. Avoid this place at all cost!

No room cleaning during your stay.if you need fresh towel or coffee you can ask, but they will send you not what you asked for.pool, slides and spa cool.especially the water temperature.

I recently booked a stay with this hotel and paid $400 for one night. When we arrived they informed us that our room would be in the “annex”, a motel looking building across the parking lot. I was very disappointed considering the amount I paid and the fact that I thought I was going to stay in a nice resort hotel. It was not disclosed that I would be staying in a motel. The annex Building was dirty and did not feel very secure. Our room was very small and I didn’t feel comfortable in there at all. The breakfast was good and the staff were nice but that’s about the only good thing about my over all experience. Buyer beware!

Nice, big room. Suite and kitchen excellent for families, kitchen is well stocked. Walk out patio / BBQ an asset as well. Pool is huge, our kids had a blast. Close to many activities, shopping & places to eat around Canmore. We experienced a few downsides, in particular parking is nightmarish since many stalls are reserved for certain rooms, however this is not always clear / is haphazard. It is a challenge to find a decent spot. I should add that we also have a Tesla and so finding both a free spot and one with a electrical outlet took quite a while and wasn't a great experience. Despite the lovely room, it was very musty throughout our stay, despite opening windows / turning on the fan and even after we BBQ'd a meal! Is not the cleanest, floors were quite dirty, my toddler had black feet every night when walking around barefoot. Creaky doors made for challenging bathroom runs in the night without waking up the household. Lastly, hideabed / crib we had requested did not come with blankets - had to wait quite some time to get these and kept the kids up while waiting for this. Once they arrived though, they were great!
All in all a good stay but it is an older property with some small things affecting our stay.

We stayed 3 days at Comfort Inn Canmore and 4 days at Grande Rockies Resort. Our experience at Comfort Inn was much better including Room upkeep and Amenities. At GrandRockies the rooms did not feel clean. We asked for extra towels and little room cleanup on 3rd day of our stay, which was never done. They just left extra towels on the bed, but did not bother to take out trash. This Covid thing is over now but they seem to be stretching it to cut down costs.

We booked the apartment with 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room and balcony. We enjoyed our stay here with most things at hand. The aircon was very good but kept dropping to 19oC in the middle of the night! The steam shower units did not work although we were advised of a part on order for one but the other storm shower did not engage: they did work as an ordinary shower and that was very good. The large bedroom cupboard door was difficult to use. Overall I liked the apartment but it could do with a handyman to make sure everything worked as it should. I loved the bbq on the balcony but the road noise was so loud that conversion was difficult.

Facility was not what was sold to us through the website. We got married and we expected to share our exciting weekend in the mountains at a resort.instead we were ushered to a sub par building down the hill with over growth views, no bell hop, no luggage carriers.we had to find all these by our selves or spend an hour carrying all our luggage (kids items & wedding materials) into our room
Broken fixtures such as hinges, a think air as if there was a pervious flood and moisture still in the walls and floor. (kids wolk up with cold symptoms each morning for the first hour of the day once we left the room).
we asked the front desk to be in the main building instead of the annex due to the fact we did not nor would we have booked if we knew we weren't in the main, disappointingly was told they were completely booked.
The food at the Grande was excellent.they accommodated us with moving tables for a party of 25 and the food was absolute delicious. Breakfast was also worth our time and our children also enjoyed the servers family friendly atmosphere.
My suggestion is, if you can assure your in the main lodge with the balcony and views as described on the website then this place is likely what you're looking for, or maybe if you just need a place to hang your hat for the evening. If you there for a special occasion please keep looking around, not worth its weight in gold.

Not a “true” 3 bedroom Penthouse. 2 out of 3 of the bedrooms are good. The “3rd” bedroom does not have any windows and is directly off the kitchen so very little privacy. The kitchen had very limited supplies especially considering there should have been enough for at least 6 guests. The unit was also not cleaned properly when we arrived I.e. Old water bottles and makeup pads under the bed and a dirty towel left in the bathroom. When we called the front desk and asked for them to bring towels and to at least clean under the beds they were very rude and unaccomadating. The furniture is stained and the unit needs a good paint as the walls were dirty. The view IS stunning and the main floor is nice and spacious with some great views of the Sisters. Has lots of potential to be a very nice unit but some improvements need to be made.

The room was very roomy (lol) 2 bedroom, 2 bath. We had 4 adults and 2 children and had plenty of room. The location was nice, the room was clean and had a steam shower and jetted tub. The restaurant downstairs was really good, it was a bit pricey but we felt the quality was worth it and the staff were great We will probably stay here again next time we come to Canmore!

Came here through Air B&b, but the rooms are exceptional, they have a community firepit and barbecues, would absolutely come here again.

Our stay here was a bit disappointing, especially after such a positive experience staying in one of Bellstar's sister locations in Canmore.
I had planned a trip through the rocky mountains for Canada Day long weekend and had to bring my puppy with me as he is being trained to be my service dog and I found this hotel online. The photos of the hotel looked very nice and despite the prices for hotels being a bit higher due to Canada Day, the photos seemed to reflect the price accurately, but I was wrong.
When I arrived, the concierge I checked in with was friendly and told me my room was ready, but then it went downhill from there. I was told that they forgot the bottle of red wine I had paid for when booking the room and it was instead handed to me at the lobby counter - disappointing. Good thing I wasn't staying here for an anniversary or that would have been embarrassing. I was then asked if I was parking underground but I had a trailer with me (for towing my motorcycle) and was told I would most likely have to park it at the Circle K gas station, the restaurant across from the hotel, or parallel on the street (to which there are wasn't room at any). There was room to park right beside the Annex building (which was the building my room was in) but I was told it couldn't be parked there so I didn't. I had to go a couple of streets over to find parking. I was very frustrated after walking back from my parking spot to find a truck parked in the spot I was told that I couldn't park in (and it had stayed in that spot for the duration of our stay and was not ticketed or towed).
The annex building severely needs upgrading. The doors in the lobby are out of alignment and look unsightly. The public areas of the Annex building are very poorly lit and have minimal furniture. The furniture they door have is not very inviting. When we got to our room it was disappointing. It did not have a clean odor, the robe in the bathroom had holes all throughout it, there was what appeared to be a dirty towel draped over the shower. The toilet barely flushed and the sink would clog up if the water ran for more than a few seconds. The wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling, it was very poorly lit, and the bathroom wasn't very clean. The rainfall showerhead was nice but the water pressure in the shower wasn't great. The beds were horribly uncomfortable and left us waking up stiff and sore and at night the one single lamp provided between the two double beds didn't provide much light for the room. The cheap furniture had small chips all over the finish.
Even though dogs are not supposed to be left unattended in the hotel. There was a dog in a room across from us that continuously barked.
For what we paid and the experience we had in other hotels owned by Bellstar, we expected a lot better. This hotel unfortunately did not meet our expectations and we would not recommend it to others. When we stay in Canmore in the future, we will look elsewhere.

We stayed at the hotel for our wedding the room is sub par for the price pull-out bed was disgusting. Then when u call the front desk asking for a late checkout the guy was rude and just hung up on my wife. The Restaurant was great though great service and awesome food. I would not stay at this hotel again but I would come back to the restaurant.

Directly next to the heavy traffic highway 1. Really loud truck traffic noise 24/7. Even through the windows you can hear it all night.

First when we got there. We could instantly tell the quality was poor.
The main AC is broken so they placed a portable AC thats poorly setup per my photo.
Very dusty surfaces with dead bugs on it.
Bed sheets also have dead bugs in them. Absolutely disgusting.
Both the broken and portable AC was never maintained as their filter was EXTREMELY DUSTY per my photos.
Desk they put in the room is a broken desk with missing parts and a drawer.
Some towels reeks of bleach.
No housekeeping "for our own safety" from covid yet not a single staff is wearing a mask. It's obvious they are trying to cut down the cost to maintain but at the cost of the quality of the room.
We would've went to another hotel but sadly it was all booked and had no choice to stay.
Talked to other people in the hotel and it seems dirty rooms are a common theme.
It seems like it used to be a 4 star hotel before the pandemic now it seems like a run down motel.
Will not be returning

In stay room cleaning was not in place in order to promote COVID safety. This included dirty towels not being picked up during our stay. We had to pile our towels on the bathroom floor. A basket would have been helpful since there was no in stay cleaning service. The waterfall shower was great but the bathroom vanity was small. There was also no place to put bottles to be recycled. Finally, it would better to have a solid door to the outdoor patio that one with a window. The blinds on the window did not keep out the bright light from the car park at night.

So when I booked this hotel I was very skeptical because of the reviews I had read. I booked via Bellstar and got an offer for an upgrade. When I booked I had requested that they put me in a room with a balcony and great mountain view. On the day of my check in I called to confirm my request and to also see if they could upgrade me as per the offer. Everything went smoothly, including the check in process when we got there. We were staying in the Annex and the only thing I found disappointing was the wet floors that had water everywhere, there was no wet floor signage (hazard). We called the reception and they said someone had left the water running, but they never cleaned it up. Otherwise everything else was good, they have great free stay well amenities.

My advice is to probably renovate the flooring (carpet) in the Annex and to also check the robes and get rid of the ones that are old and ripped (we had one that was ripped and so old).

This is the second time I have stayed at Grande Rockies and it will be my last. The late check-in and early checkout was not flexible. The fact that the unit was filthy, and as soon as I wiped the floor from a water spill, the towel turned black. There was no replenishment of towels, toiletries, or cleaning at all in the 4 days we were there. There are hardly any dishes, and the kitchen is cramped. The place is much too old to be charging $539 per night! For that price, I expect a clean, well-upkept unit with basic supplies and services. When compared to nicer condos we have stayed at in Golden and Fernie, this place is worth about $250 per night. NOT $539! You state that you have staffing issues and it makes it tough.well you need to pay your staff properly, instead of making your customers PAY for the shortcomings of the resort. This will be our last stay at Grande Rockies, and likely our friends as well.

We enjoyed our stay here! Such a beautiful location. The room was great. Overall the facilities are a little dated but the actual stay wasn't really affected by this. Staff was lovely, we felt very welcomed and comfortable. Thank you!

We stayed at Grande Rockies for 4 nights. Overall pkeasant stay. 20 minutes from Banff. Convenient location in Canmore. Enough parking spots. Most rooms have mountain view. Pool is great. They provide park pass (and bear spray) which will save time and some money on visiting Banff. Wonderful staffs. Mr. Shariff at the front desk was super nice and helpful. Book ahead, and you may get great deal. Highly recommend.

Staff bent over backwards to help us. My partner's daughter ended up having to write an exam while she was here. Front desk and housekeeping helped her find a quiet space for 3 hours. Our two-bedroom suite 318 had fresh paint and gorgeous new flooring and new showers.

Pizza's not bad considering the location. The staff are really nice, and they have a good menu as well as overall good food.

Booked here to stay in the 3 bedroom penthouse after our wedding in November. The bed in the master room was terrible, best way to explain it was it was shaped like a giant butt groove and was very stiff. Couldn't sleep near each other, would basically roll away from the middle of the bed. The penthouse room itself was great. The staff were fantastic also.

Beautiful resort! Thank you for my birthday balloons, bottle of wine and gorgeous view! 15 min walk to town. Restaurant was delish especially the Drunken French Toast! The indoor/outdoor hot tub was fantastic and man was the water slide fun.and fast!

Run down, dirty, falling apart and loud. Needs major updates. Stayed in a 2 bedroom kitchenette suite which was disappointing. The floor was dirty when we came in, the area in front of the deck door was super drafty, there are holes in the ceiling, kitchen cabinets are falling apart, baseboard is coming off or missing, tap in shower isn't set properly to hot and cold, door stop is falling off, washer and dryer don't work, pillows didn't have pillow shams, couch was full of hair and bread crumbs. The restaurant is run down with worn out cushions, the carpet in the hallways is folded up and uneven, broken appliances were in the hallway.

Pool is nice, grab bar on child slide is broken.
The saving grace is the staff are friendly.

The room we got through air b&b was a big let down, but the saving grace was the restaurant. Such great staff and the food was delicious.
The pool was good and the indoor/outdoor hot tub was really nice.

The rooms were huge and very well cleaned. We could have eaten every meal in the big kitchen. We really enjoyed the outdoor hot tub.

If I could give this place a 0 I would.rooms were filthy and they charge 250 deposits on rooms which are dirty real nice.horrible service charged credit cards that were not even the right ones it was all a complete circus.the only good thing about this stay was the restrictions which is no affiliation with the hotel.we came up with 30 people for our 10 yr anniversary celebration and like I said the only pleasant accommodation was the restaurant for our celebration.very disappointed in the hotel will not ever recommend and will never stay there again especially with all the money we paid

Impressive cleaning. The best was the hot tub indoor/outdoor and the swimming pool with its waterslide. Nice views from the annex. Since the elevator wasn't working during checkout they sent a person to help us with our luggage.

So much comfort and fun.the perfect getaway we all needed.actually referring a group of 19 people there.

Worst experience ever at a hotel, the room next to us sounds like they are in the same room with us. The entire place has not been cleaned properly, it’s absolutely disgusting how everything is so sticky and dusty. Literally can hear the plumbing from the washrooms in both our and neighbouring rooms like the pipes are about to burst. 11pm at night and the building next to the room is just blasting music and We can hear the room next to us watching tv the walls are to thin. Would not recommend, stay far away.

The place is quite old, but functional. The pool court is nice with a great indoor water slide and hot tube, but there are a cloride smell on all the place. The room was not so clean and I think the Wi-Fi could be faster. Restaurant has a good menu and friendly staff.

The room beside us was being obnoxiously loud in the middle of the night. We could not sleep. We called the front desk twice to complain and were told both times that there was no staff on site so nothing could be done. My husband had to call 911 and wait outside at 2 am to meet the police and let them into the building. Neither of us were able to get a good night's sleep so we felt like our money was completely wasted.
We raised our concerns with the front desk at checkout and they basically shrugged their shoulders and didn't seem to care that we paid them money to do nothing while we had to stay up all night trying to get other customers to be quiet. No customer service once the sun goes down and staff do not care whether or not you are able to fall asleep at their hotel even though that's the main reason people pay them money. Very dissapointed with the stay. Would never recommend to anyone and will never stay here again. Spend your money somewhere else

We are actually staying at an Airbnb here, but it's all part of the same hotel. It's a bit worn down but the views are stellar. Really close to a lot of great attractions. Banff is not very far off, either. Their restaurant is pretty good. They also have a pool and hot tub on the bottom floor near the lobby.

They don’t show the picture for different buildings.
Was really different than main building.
No customer room service was so small and dark.
Extra charge for resort fee.

Highly Not Recommended, here is why:
- Requested for early check-in, straight NO- it was apparent that they did not made efforts to accommodate
- No room cleaning serve - stayed for 3 days
- Anything you would ask front desk and the straight answer was SORRY - e.g Trolley for luggage, cutlery…

Only good thing:
- Susanna at front desk was very helpful and caring, truly appreciate her guidance

Spent 3 days in the annex building. Nice, clean room with a microwave and fridge which I didn't expect but was a nice surprise.

Great location and the front desk staff were very friendly. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The shower had too many buttons but once you figure it out.great pressure! The hallways are a bit dated and didn’t smell very nice. The restaurant was very clean and had good variety of food and wines. Gerard was very knowledgeable about the wines and Katherine was a sweetheart to accommodate our last minute order before closing! Thank you for the great customer service!

Place was nice and clean and staff was mostly friendly. Underground parking was nice, but not secure.

The problem we had, is check in was at 4: 00 and we got there at 5. Our room wasn’t ready. We couldn’t get into our room until 5: 30 but it still wasn’t ready. The dishwasher was running with all the dishes in it, so we couldn’t make dinner till 7. This usually wouldn’t be a problem except that we have a toddler that needed to eat.

At the end of our stay, I asked for a late checkout, and was told it was an extra $25 an hour, even though our room wasn’t technically ready till 7.

They also have bylaws in place that you cannot bring your bike and store it on your balcony or risk a fine. This isn’t an issue for our bikes, but if you have an expensive bike, you are expected to keep it in the non secure parking garage.

I would consider staying here again, but would investigate other options first.

Any electrician would have a heart attack after seeing our room electric set up. They have 2 separate extension cords running from a single outlet with multiple appliances plugged in. So as soon as we have more than one running the safety fuse would shut everything off.
Our kids were super excited about going to the hotel pool. We left the pool in a hurry as soon as we entered it. Absolutely disguisting!
Parking lot has spaces big enough for motorcycles not cars.
I understand that this is a popular location and everything is expensive. But if you establish up such high prices at least set up your hotel appropriately. Or get ready to receive the appropriate reviews.
The only good memories we will keep after visiting this property was seeing Elks wondering across the parking lot.

Nice nice nice! Enjoyed my stay and the pool is nice. Try their warm tub as well, you wouldn't wanna leave. Love the idea that a Grill, Washer & dryer and the kitchen stuffs you need like blender, toaster, plates, etc comes with every room we booked. Nice! For the sake of Privacy, sorry no photos.

The place in our suite was nice but the safety protocols are very bad. Someone broke in to pull the fire alarm as a prank, no fireman were called, an off duty fireman called in case and that was the only reason emergency vehicles came. Building was evacuated. If it was a real emergency that would not be good response time. Second night to fire alarms going off. Very unhappy we have to switch.

No front desk in the middle of the night.

Was great. Kids love the water slide. We had a nice balconywhere we used the provided BBQ several times to cook. We booked again for the fall we loved it so much.

At 1pm on the day of arrival I called and asked if an early check in would be possible. She told me she would check and if I didn’t hear back by 3 to call again. I called at 3 and got the same woman. Again she said she would check and call me back. I said thank you so Much and that we were approx 45 mins away. Arrived around 3: 50 pm and not one person was aware of our request…they did however rush to make sure it was clean quickly as we had a function to attend at 5pm and needed to clean up and change.
The room was very nice and suited our needs perfectly. In the master bedroom there is a very fancy shower…unfortunately only the shower head worked no biggie. The toilet in the master bedroom wood screech when you flushed. And the best part was when the smoke alarm battery died at 6am…there is no one on site to contact so we climbed on a stool and took it down and removed the battery. You would think the batteries would be changed on a schedule in order to avoid this. Also not a plate or cup in the whole
Place! Over all it was a very nice resort but I don’t know if I would stay again…

We booked a couple king rooms and a double room which was very spacious. The parking available wasn't that spacious or didn't have many spots available so we were left to park on the street for the length of our stay. The air conditioning in the room was very loud. The staff was very unorganized, unprofessional and unable to fulfill the expectations promised when checking in. The girl who checked us in couldn't log in and ended up telling us about when she had to call the police a few days before for a guest because of noise and behaviour.that left a bad first impression. She couldn't seem to figure out that I had 3 rooms booked and was just sending me away with 2 she could find. I had to do digging myself to track down the 3rd. Without even checking anything she stated that the underground parking was full. She also talked a lot about unnecessary information when we just wanted to check in after a long day. She also mentioned if we needed a late checkout she'd be able to arrange for that. She mixed up the keys for our guests room which made it confusing as we took our luggage up and around accordingly but then had to switch rooms again. Towards the end of our stay, I called the front desk and spoke to a gentleman to request an extended checkout time as my husband had a meeting in the morning he had to complete.the guy said let me find out for you then promised to callback. I waited 45 mins for that call and then called him again and he claimed he forgot so went to check again and said that they can only offer late checkout for 1 room. I explained that our guests had come with us and there was only 1 vehicle we go in so it'd be better if all rooms could be extended by an hour. He put me on hold again and after 5 mins picked up and asked "what did you want again? " To which I explained again and he requested that he'll call me back. I waited about 25 mins without any calls so I called again and this time the manager picked up and claimed she'd take over the call/issue and said they're doing some switch over but would be willing to accommodate our request for $25/hour per room for a late checkout up until 2pm. So the 1 room offer was off and the whole conversation was very unprofessional and unhelpful. Definitely won't be staying here again. Basecamp resorts are the best place to stay in Canmore- have always stayed with them and made the mistake to book a different place this time.

Awesome hotel with amazing penthouse suites. Rented a 3 bedroom penthouse suite and stayed with friends. Been here a few times and always forget to leave a review. Staff are very accommodating, helpful and friendly and the hotel is gorgeous. Our room was massive with lots of beds, a bbq and a private hot tub. Always a fun time staying at Grande Rockies Resort, highly recommend! We had a blast!

Lovely location, but not as good this time. Wildfire smoke was heavy, which limited our activities outside the hotel. And there was a boil water advisory on, which limited what we could do in the hotel. Was disappointed that the staff didn't do anything to help with the water situation, just told me I could buy it from the vending machine or boil it. Neither of our fancy shower units worked. Last time only 1 of 2 did. And the pool had so much sand and dirt in it that kids were making large piles of it on the edge of the pool and playing with it. I'm guessing that had something to do with the water advisory, but there was no signage. Definitely wasn't worth the price on this occasion. Will look elsewhere next time.

Honestly the pictures online are every misleading and instead of the luxurious rooms expected we stayed in hostel type rooms. Rooms where the applicance were out of date or did not work and also the shower head fell completely detached from the shower knocking out two of the guest from smacking them on the head during there shower and no apology or offer of a refund in return. LOWER your expectations when booking here!

This is probably one of the best hidden gems in Canmore and in Alberta. Chef Air is at the top of he's career and thee food is absolutely delightful both in presentation and taste.

I called earlier to ask a simple question about making a reservation. The fellow on the other line seemed to be irritated I was even calling, it was as though i was wasting his time. Seems like pretty poor behaviour in a customer service role. Really turned me away from booking at this resort.

Excellent place to stay. VRBO in unit 405 and it was perfect for us. 3 bed rooms, hot tub, underground parking. Clean!

Beautiful view of the three sisters from our balcony. In room fire place. Kitchenette and the jet tub and steam shower was nice. Only downfall was the pillows and bed.

Can't say the room was exceptional but it was pretty good for the price we paid. BUT the pool was awesome and the staff at the frontdesk was very kind and professional! I would recommend to a family with kids for the indoor pool, indoor/outdoor hot tub:)

Jason and Trevor were amazing. They were great at accomendating us when we ran into some trouble and the customer service level was outstanding. I will be back whenever I visit Canmore for sure. Shout out to Jason again! Your the best!

Amazing resort just minutes drive from Banff, the pool and hot tub makes this a 6 star resort. Quiet and well maintained building. Would definitely come back or recommend to a friend.

Excellent pool and hot tub. Great for kids. Housekeeping on the other hand was not so good. The beds are uncomfortable. Kind of a disappointment considering we were expecting better

Managed to get a good deal on a suite in this lovely hotel. Had a beautiful view of the Rockies. I have stayed in several hotels in Canmore and Banff and this is the top of my affordable favourites. Nice restaurant attached and everything else is nearby. Underground parking is large and easy to park in even with my 3/4 ton truck. Thanks for the lovely weekend getaway I’ll be back soon!

This place is awesome for families. Nice sized two bedroom condo units with full kitchens and even steam showers available. Great restaurant and a great location. Parking is tricky to find and figure out since it is a condo style building, but plenty of elevators make it easy to get to your room.

Always amazing kid friendly - pools and water slides, indoor and outdoor hot tubs. Restaurant and close to all amenities, great rooms

Honestly it is a great place because the rooms are pretty big and clean. And all the facilities in the room were Brand new and of good quality. The rooms were clean and tidy. The only issue with this place is the lack of elevators, other than that it is close to perfect.

What could have been a disastrous winter vacation was saved by three words, Superb Customer Service!

I've had good and bad experiences here, depending on the room. Overall, it's great. We love the hot tub.get in on the inside and then sit outside!

The room was amazing! Jake at the front desk was great and very funny. We decided to come to Canmore at the last minute, and they were able to get us a suite with a great view on no notice and at a great price. We will definitely be back!

We stayed for 6 nights in a 1 bedroom suite. The bed was very uncomfortable and the sofa was also. The room was good sized and a decent value. The view of the mountains from our balcony was amazing. I didn't like the noise from the highway all day and night, though. The weather was perfect during our stay and it would have been nice to sleep with the windows open but the noise made that impossible.

It was nice that the room was furnished with in room laundry and a full kitchen including dishes. Also, the grill on the balcony and the gas fireplace were nice additions. The staff was friendly and aside from a minor maintenance issue our first night it was a pleasant stay. The pool was fun, complete with waterslide, wading pool, and indoor/outdool spa. Good for families with kids.

The restaurant had good food for reasonable prices. The bar was over priced, though.

Piscine sympa avec des enfants y compris grands, le toboggan étant dans le noir total il donne un peu d'adrénaline ;)
Prix raisonnable malgré les taxes délirantes (taxe marketing.)

One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. The suites are huge with super comfortable beds ava nice tvs. The bathrooms both had very exotic and fun spa like showers. The location is great. Canmore is a cute town in its own rite, and the hotel is super close to the highway about a 15 minute drive to Banff. Free parking was also a huge plus.

Hotel is improving quite a bit. Better service now, rooms are clean, pool and waterslides are working and great for families. Not a 5 star resort but very pleasant stay.

The suites are very nice and the place is beautiful! The breakfast is really awesome but the prices are a bit expensive.
