First time customers. Good selection of medium price point shoes. Our associate, Day, provided excellent service, and was knowledgeable about the company history and the show selection. Will return in the future.

Had really great service, which I often haven't had in the past. Half of the shoes I wanted to try were not available in my size (all regular price) so I didn't buy anything.

I’ve always enjoy shopping at Gravity Pope. I like their selection of brands, and prefer shopping through a local company.
Had a really nice time shopping today, the guy who helped my sister and I, was very patient and helpful.

This summer I purchased a pair of Asportuguesas slippers. After approximately five hours of total wear the cork/rubber sole cracked and began to separate from the toe of the slipper. I brought them back to Gravity Pope and after several back and forth conversations with management I was told that this was not a manufacturer defect (as per their cobbler) but likely because I “ran my toes into something accidentally” or something alike. I was never asking for money back, just for a pair of non defective slippers as they are not cheap. Reluctantly and after much more conversation with management I was given a new pair but made to feel bad because “the old ones are just going to get cut up and thrown in the basement”. Prior to this interaction, I would have said that Gravity Pope was one of my go to shoe stores in Edmonton, sadly I cannot say that anymore.

Wouldn’t let me exchange shoes for a different size on day 22, one day past their 21 day policy. My mother in law bought them for us for a wedding and when we arrived from another province and tried them on they were slightly too small. I could maybe see if we wanted our money back but all I wanted was a different size. Bad business

My mom in law found the shoes she absolutely loved and the cashier, for whatever reason, didn’t want to sell them to us and lied that it’s a “display shoe that doesn’t come in a pair and it wasn’t supposed to be on the shelf”. 5 minutes after that I find the same shoe in the sale section and bring it to her again. She again says it’s not for sale, when she just put it on the sale rack herself. I work in retail and know for sure that there’s no such thing as a “display shoe” that doesn’t come in a pair. This is the most ridiculous lie I’ve heard. Just to check, I went on their website and of course found that there’s one available pair of the same shoes

I don’t understand why she had to lie and put it back in the shelf for other people to buy. We went there specifically to buy shoes with our entire family. Not sure if we’ll be recommending this place to anyone.

Also, the staff were taking 10-15 minutes to do a stock check and kept bringing the wrong shoes.

Not the review that I wanted to post as I have bought several items here with my fiance. I ordered a pair of boots on Dec 31 from a different store as they only have the floor model and it had scratches. They told me the boots would arrive in seven days. I called after a week for an update and was told it did not come yet, not a problem. I called once again a week after and was told it came in. I drove to the store to pick it up only to find out that it was the floor model that was scratched and not the one I ordered. Fast forward to yesterday, Jan 20, my boots finally came in. The very next day, the boots went down in price and I asked for a price match only to be told they cannot help me anymore as I ordered it in Dec 31. This is the first time I have ever heard that the return policy starts right away even if you have not received the product especially if the product arrived 20 days after you have ordered it. It is a shame as this place is one of the last local stores that have good footwear and clothing selections.

Boutique local shoe store with lots of choices. Staff very friendly and willing to order in different colours and sizes if not available in store. Very happy with my purchases!

Six to eight people walked out of this store, as I waited outside. I stepped in to sanitize my hands and was told they were at capacity and I couldn’t come in. Had a friend about to drop a couple hundred there, not worth it. Terrible service will not be back.

Literally the only store I can walk into expecting drop $500 and walk out without spending a cent. Service is terrible! Last time I was there the girl told me "let me know if you see anything on your way out" and after making wait for her to give her "i dunno. " coffee order to her coworker. She brought me 3 of 7 pairs of shoes I asked to try but one was the wrong size and literally just walked away to serve the no one else that was in there at the time when I said they didn't fit. Everywhere is better to shop than this place.

The actual staff are extremely helpful and always help me find what im looking for! My issue with this place is its management. With the pandemic going on it doesn't seem like they are doing anything about keeping staff and clients safe and that is not something i condone and unfortunately after all my years of buying shoes here i will be directing my business to another store where i feel the staff and customers health are a priority. It is very telling how management sees customers as simply a number which is disappointing.

I stopped in today to try on some sandals I had had set aside for me. The shop was immaculate, everyone was socially distancing and their guidelines for keeping staff and clients was clearly explained at the door. It made me so happy to see pandemic safety measures prioritized and easy to follow. The two shop assistants were lovely, helpful, and ensured my experience was great. If I could give it 6 stars, I would, I'll be back again soon!

I have been shopping at Gravity Pope for years. They always have a great selection and the staff are generally very friendly and helpful. I went in there this past week to purchase shoes I saw online (which were available in store in the colour and size that I wanted as per their website). The first sales associate I flagged down appeared disinterested and told me that the shoes I was looking for were not available in my size and colour.
Being skeptical, I asked another sales associate, and she gladly brought me two sizes of the shoes I was looking for in the colour I was looking for. She was very pleasant and even honoured the sale price from a sale that ended a day prior (since I was unaware that the sale was already finished).

That said, it would be great if all staff were well-versed in the store inventory or willing to check whether items are in stock. Overall though, I do love Gravity Pope as I have had pleasant shopping experiences there.

That I can't view your store without an appointment, leads me to believe my business isn't important. I have spent hundreds of dollars in your store and I won't be back. Open your doors AHS has to much useless power.

I've shopped at Gravity Pope for years. They have a great selection of brands, and I always receive amazing service—in-store and online. I highly recommend both the shoe and clothing store.

Very disappointing that I could only find 1 shoe in my size even though I found about 10 shoes that I wanted. Especially since some of the brands actually make bigger sizes but aren't carried by gravity pope. Most men's shoes are too wide. Not sure if he's worth going to this store when I find so many shoes I like but almost nothing I can buy.

Always cool kicks for sale. I get my in style sneakers here and I get my office dress shoes here. With the great curated selection I can always find something that perfect mix of business casual with comfort. Plus they have great mirrors for checking everything out and amble benches to try things on from 10/10 shoe store

On the one hand, over a half of my shoe collection comes from Gravitypope; they have tasteful selection of brands, unique not only for Edmonton but for Alberta in general. Customer service is great too! However, I noticed two major issues that have been happening within last years. First - when a new collection goes through few tiers of sales and then goes back to full price - that's beyond my understanding of retail practices and common sense. And second - reviewing seasonal collections can be fascinating and inspiring experience. But instead of ordering fresh and interesting designs, company buyer rather chooses most boring models. I still shop at Gravity every now and then but certainly without past excitement.

Best shoe store in Edmonton. Tons of brands I never have seen before and reasonable prices if you shop the sales for the high end shoes.

I have to say, the staff and Manager Lisa at the Whyte ave location have been so gracious over the past week. I had an issue so I emailed the store with my concern and it was taken care of very respectfully. The staff who were working when I went in again went above any beyond to be helpful and didn't make me feel bad at all for being indecisive and a bit difficult. I recommend this store to anyone who wants quality customer service and a great selection of quality shoes!

You'd think with the high price of products that the service would be better even in this case where the store wasn't remotely busy.

Great products, great location, but finding parking is hard and if there isn't sale items the prices can be astronomical

Excellent selection of men's footwear from a variety of designers and styles with a range of price points. I've purchased dress and casual shoes from here and have been more than satisfied with their service and the shoes that I ended up going home with. The staff I found to be attentive and helped find the right pair of shoes. They don't feel like they are pressuring you for a sale which makes it an enjoyable experience. It's nice that they carry some harder to find brands. This isn't your run of the mill shoe store. It's my first stop if I have a new pair of shoes in mind.
