I took my car to great canadian oil change. Wow, what a mistake.
It was.

When I took my car in For oil change, I saw them. They were struggling and then putting back my drain oil back.
It was leaking all over my garage from the filter and from the oil drain.

I hope from all the clients they go there. Make sure before you leave take a look at their job. Because they definitely they don't do their job good.

Great Canadian oil change tguys step up your game. That's not definitely customer service.

I went back due to a engine light flashing. Turns out they put in a plastic part and it had melted and my engine oil was leaking. They replaced the part with a metal part. They also topped up my engine oil. All of this free of charge! Way to making it right, Great Canadian Oil Change! I was blown away by the professionalism and curtious staff. I felt like they had my best interest at heart in making my vehicle safe to drive. I am a customer for life.

I had no idea this place changed management till today! High recommend the staff is amazing and a huge shout out to Alex! He went above and beyond on answering my questions and totally honest with his answers. Not once did I feel I was being taken advantage of on things my car didn't need! He looked at things I had questions on and said nope not necessary. He's the BOMB and actually tolerated me with questioning and proving to me I was getting what I asked for. Not once when I came here before did they get it right hence why I stopped going but after today it will be my first choice! Thanks team and a HUGE thank you to Alex. They are lucky to have you.

Say good bye to your dealer for an oil change. The dealer experience: schedule, show up, wait, wait more time follow up, oh it will be another 2 hours " do you want a donut". 1/2 day for a simple oil change. Here you are out in 20 minutes and it is relaxing

DON'T GO HERE AFTER WORK! Just got my oil changed this evening. I pulled in around 4: 50pm to bay #4 and there was 1 vehicle ahead of me and one inside. I waited for a half hour and they asked me to back all the way out and move to bay #1 because that would be faster, they shuffled around several vehicles during this. After waiting there for another 45 minutes they shuffled vehicles again and told me to go back to bay #4 because the guy in #1 asked for a big service. Waited for another half hour before finally getting inside. Finally at 6: 50 I was finished. Over 2 hours!
Normally the service here is great which is why I drive across town to go to this one specifically but whatever was going down today had the whole production falling apart

Great awesome experience. Never heard of that company before. What a great discovery. Was visiting my daughter in Acadia needed an oil change, drove in thinking maybe 20 minutes or so but I got the royal treatment. Not only did I need oil, but my washer fluid was low, my antifreeze was almost empty, my tires were over inflated. They topped everything up fixed my tire pressure. Checked my filters. Wow. Can't think of the the attendants name, he was so friendly and helpful. Thank you so much.

This place is awesome! All staff are great to talk to and deal with! The team work and communication in this shop is outstanding! Always a positive experience! Headed here today to get my oil changed!

Scott and his team did a great job. Love the vibe, supper friendly, they have such a good attitude with the customer. Service was quick, when he noticed that air filter still has some life left he didn't try to upsell. He mention another service, and I said no and didn't try to push it. Overall great experience.

Went to get a top up of my transmission fluid. Waited for 2 hours and there was one car in the bay in front of me. So not recommend

Hands down the BEST customer service I’ve ever received when getting maintenance on my vehicle. Their quick, courteous, honest and professional. 12/10, I would definitely recommend them to any and everybody.

Get my f-150 Raptor 6.2L home from getting an oil change done. My kick plate barley hanging on by a tread there is oil all over it the place, with a dirt bike size oil filter attached! What a joke called there to ask what was up with the filter being baby sized and they said it’s approved by Ford, so like there thread size was approved? Hahahahaha um ok who approved that by Ford? Cause they don’t sell those filters at Ford or any other shop. Do not recommend going there at all!

Quick and well priced. Staff was very knowlegable and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place over other quick oil change places on Macleod trail.

Great service, friendly staff and reasonable price. The place was packed when I went but I appreciate it greatly that it was still first come first served even if they had to move cars around if a vehicle or 2 took longer to service!

Prompt and fast service! The employees are great and let you know everything they are doing. They don't pressure you for extra maintenance to be done like the dealerships do.

I often come here for an oil change. Service is fast and friendly. Price about average. Like most places they try to upsell you other services but they are respectful. Some things are actually good value and some over average. I’ll keep coming back

Last visit was disappointing. I thought it was first come, first serve. Eventhough I was there before three other vehicles for an oil change, those three vehicle were brought into the bays and serviced before mine. The attendant that lined us up didn't come over and apologize nor acknowledge that there may have been a mistake made on his part. In the past, I have recommended this location to my friends and family but I might have to look elsewhere as of today I don't feel my business is valued. Service overall was fantastic and I appreciate the discount I received.

Amazing staff, I’ve honestly never had more fun waiting to get an oil change. The energy is incredible, smiles everywhere, dramatic Bay# yelling which ads to the entertainment.

They prioritize whoever comes first so if you happen to pick a slower bay they will get cars to move around so that you are first if you came first.

Everyone I spoke too was super informative and willing to help on a fly.

Prompt service by a set of friendly staff. Minimal wait times compared to other service providers requiring you drop off your vehicle and come up it later. Overall I’d visit again

I went there on Friday the very first time. I waited for an hour and had to move here and there few times but the staff is super friendly. I loved the environment and had a great experience about this place. I don’t think they would try to up sell as much as other places do. It was recommended by a friend.

I went on a Tuesday at 1pm and got in right away. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly! I would highly recommend this location.

First time at this location last week. The employee who assisted me was friendly and funny. He recommended some things to be done but I didn't feel pressured to do them. The employees performing the service work seemed professional and got the job done. Multiple employees said goodbye and thank you as I drove out. I will return.

Left my air filter clips off causing a massive ticking in my engine after 2000km. Oil was black after 1000km when I noticed the filter clips weren’t on. They said having the clips not Installed wouldn’t effect my engine and offered me $30 discount. (air filter directly connected to turbos?)

The boys here at Great Canadian Oil Change were absolutely wonderful. Alex and AJ did a fantastic job making sure my Subaru was well taken care of. Letting me know of any foreseeable issues, but weren’t pushy. All around a great environment, everyone working there was super rad. Awesome bunch of lads. I will definitely be returning in the future. Keep on keepin’ on.

Everyone was great but the new guy didn't listen and put one of my tires @ 46psi rather than 35 like he did the rest.

Beware! Calgarians! This shop failed to fill my motor with oil 01/22/2022 and now the engine is seized! (Profesional Shop diagnosed) Garrett the Manager is denying. —— Even after I have one of his. Employees visiting my home, on video stating no oil in the vehicle then adding 1.8 Litres in trying to turn over engine. They will be getting a visit form the local news and will be dealing with a civil case! Stay aware ——- There customer team was no help at all and they says Manager had final decision!

I had been planning an oil change for about two weeks. I did some calls to see who had the best price to service ratio. Then randomly I found GCOC while I was heading to wash my car. I parked with the intention to go in and ask their price for an oil change. A tech came out to see if I needed any information. He answered my questions with a friendly attention. That is what converted me to a paying customer. They were efficient and organized. Their price was the best price I found in my research.

What stood out the most to me was when a car left the bay everyone in the garage called goodbye and have a great day! This made my day. This was a small but simple touch that made me feel like we were cared for. Not just a $.

I had an excellent experience here and have gone a second time now and it was no different.

The Staff here are friendly, professional, knowledgeable and they go above and beyond to make sure that everything is checked, covered and the job is done right!

My cold air intake was not all the way on, It had come loose. The service tech working on my truck noticed and showed me right away and told me what the problem was.

He took the brackets off repositioned it and tightened it all up again for no charge. It was so nice of him. I just really appreciate that he noticed it was out of place and he cared and he went out of his way to help me by fixing it. Thank you I really appreciate it!

Good service but the prices charged for front and differential fluid changes were $25 each more than the dealership. I would suggest everyone to shop around elsewhere for prices before going here. The wait time was around an hour so no difference spending the extra bucks to save time.

This place is always good to me! Jon helped find ways to reduce the cost for me as I went in for an oil change and needed a couple small additions, even including a piece for free. I appreciate that they report to car fax so all of your past information can be viewed by other companies that use car fax. Such fast and efficient service, in and out in about 10 mins. They are very thorough and don't force anything, just educated you on what needs to be done and what is important so you can choose. Will definitely keep going back to GCOC!

It's been a few years since I was there but they were quick and were not pushy about recommended servicing.

Went in for an oil change on a weekend, it wasn’t busy. I got in right away. Oil change was done fast. Great place to come for an oil change.
The only thing that I wasn’t happy with was: they checked my headlights, and I knew one has burned out. So they said they could change it for me, and I said sure. They tried to change out the light bulb and then I was told that the last shop that did it for me, had broken the connector and there was wire damage. So they couldn’t do it for me and was told that the wiring would need to get fixed.
So I went back to the previous shop and told them what they said. They checked it and they said there was no issues with the connector or wiring. They changed out the light bulb no problem. So kind of disappointed in the misinformation.

Great service. Great pricing. And their work is warranty approved. What more can I say. Highly recommended.

Not too impressed with my visit today. I got there and was second in line. I was asked to move since they said they like to let people who got there first enter the shop first. No problem I moved and got in line where they asked. They checked in 4 vehicles while I was waiting and all four went in before me. They asked me to move again and I moved. They said I would receive a discount, great thanks. The fourth guy that I switched places was let in before me again. The oil change was quick and they profusely apologized. I was appreciative of the discount except after I left, I realized they had a $15 off coupon for synthetic oil changes, which is the service I got. So to offer me a technically $5 off for my inconvenience is rude. I waiting for over an hour for an oil change.

I love this place for an oil change. I’ve been to a few different places in Calgary but I only go to this location now. Lots of other places are very frustrating to go to as they assume I know nothing about cars as a woman. This place on the other hand? Great service, very professional, very friendly, and I’ve never once had a moment where I had someone go out of their way to explain something overly simply to me. I also like the fact that they aren’t pushy when trying to add on extra services.

Can hear all of the techs communicating to ensure safety and that my service is being performed correctly, Their manager is on the floor looking over his team, very professional. Was very upset when Mr. Lube after 2 years of oil change service told me, that they don’t change oil if costumer supplies it’s own.
So I said for 2 years you did it and now you don’t. They said it was mistakes for 2 years in roll.

After that I decided to find new place. This guys works fast. No issues for 2 years. They do check up of vehicle. Spent 10 minutes. Done. See you next time.

Disappointed experience. I asked the service people to make sure that my skid plate underneath my vehicle was well secured. They told me that was put back up and secured very well. I didn't even get home and I checked underneath and it was hanging down and I almost lost the protective guard. I was very disappointed and when I got home I had to crawl under my vehicle and secure the cover. I have been getting my vehicle oil change done at that same location for approx. 8 yrs I'm not sure that I will bother going there again.

Came in for a simple oil and transmission fluid change. They under filled the oil and overfilled the transmission fluid and spilt the transmission fluid all over the engine bay. Manager and owner are incompetent. I understand why they undergo a name change every x number of years in an attempt to conceal poor quality of service.

Been going to this place for a while now, and I have to say that I’m very impressed by the service the guys provide.
Shaun was checking my Serpentine belt and noticed a tiny hole on it, which indicates that they do a full on check from up close and not just take a quick look.
Tim helped with a replacement and off I was in less then an hour with a fresh oil and a new belt (which was already kinda due at 107000km).

Highly recommend to stop by, no appointments needed no long waits.

Organized and professional. Very quick service despite being very busy. They can send your receipt by email. Top up of fluids and tire pressure. Staff friendly and covid conscious, yet not bothering customers. If you don't have mask, just keep your window halfway up. $70 for conventional oil change. Competitive rate. Can only be approached while southbound on McLeod.

OMG! These guys are like our new super heroes! Having moved into Calgary recently we weren’t aware how a snow dump could easily make a short driving trip, super harrowing! We were late for our doctors appointment but we got stuck right outside this garage. So while I’m pushing and my wife steering to get out of the snow, a bunch of guys just swooped in out of nowhere and got us out within a minute! Wow, we were just relieved and super awed by these fellows - really kind and heroic of them. Seriously it felt surreal, they just swooped in (capes missing) and before we knew it we were on our way. With this kind of kindness I can’t expect anything but the best from this place - we won’t be going anywhere else now on. Kudos to you fellows and thanks so much again!

I went in for an oil change everything was fine until I had someone else look at my car cause my oil level was so low after I went in for the oil change and found out that the guy who did my oil change didn't screw my oil filter back on properly resulting in my entire engine being soaked in oil. Also when I went there they told me I had a small oil leak but because of them I now had a huge oil leak as in oil everywhere! Starting to wonder if I had an oil leak at all. I will never return and I will never recommend this place to anyone.

Friendly service but they checked my air filter which I did not intend on having taken care of and they did not secure the filter back down. Started to rattle very loud when driving so I popped the hood and the bracket screws are missing, had to replace them on my own dime. Rather annoying as I just wanted a simple oil change for warranty records

Swapped our tires in about an hour, which was on the day of the first snowfall! And re-torqued them a few days later and re-checked the tire pressure.

Wonderful job completing the oil change for my car. Very respectful and willing to chat (from a distance) with me. Very thorough in the work that they do. Double checked and triple checked everything!

One of the great advantages of the Canadian Oil Change is that You do not need to make an appointment. Just drop in and they will assign you a line that will be the closest available spot. My waiting time was around 10 minutes on a snowy Friday afternoon. They were really quick, supportive, gave me some recommendations. Very professionals. Quick service, good quality and good value. Recommended. Certainly I would be back for future oil changes.

We just got our oil changed by Shaun and Riz at the Macleod Trail location and that was awesome. Very polite, quick and efficient service, and friendly staff. They didn't try to unnecessarily up-sell us, too. Both myself and my partner remarked on how great the service was and how professional the employees were. Will definitely be heading here again!

The service was great. I needed a rear window wiper, but unfortunately they didn't have any in stock for my car and said if I want to pick one up they would put it on for me. It's not your normal wiper so can't fault them for not having it in stock. No up-selling which was nice.

Great place. Fast efficient and no upselling. So far I have gotten my oil change done, wipers replaced, one piece fuel system additive and rear differential service. Replaced engine air filter and cabin filter. They are always polite and respectful.

I bought a new to me truck in January 2020 and went to jiffy lube up by chinook for my winter weight oil. I went to great Canadian oil change by heritage in March/April ish for a summer weight oil change. I went back to jiffy lube a couple weeks ago by chinook for a regular 10,000k oil change and they showed me on the stick that the oil level was far to high, very very dirty and almost double what oil should have been in there. They also showed me that the last oil filter was the one they put on in January. They also charged me double the oil enviro fee because I had double the oil in my pan. Like I came here and they just added 5+ litres without draining the winter weight oil or replace the oil filter and just greased me up and sent me out the door?
Overpriced also.

Best place to get oil change. Tommy and Nigmat were super polite and fast. They were super busy, but I didn't need to wait long.
I've been a regular client for the last 3 years. It's not close to my house, but it's worth the drive. They don't try to rip you off offering a bunch of services you don't need.

Amazing experience at this place! Super impressed with the service. The fella in my bay looked/ acted like the foreman (I think his name was Jon!). Made sure all of his guys were doing things right, was not pushy on added sales or anything at all, was very clear in his instructions for me and explained in detail what he was doing every step of the way. He recommended I replace a filter next time, instead of scaring/pressuring me into replacing it today. Being a younger woman driving a truck, I was fully expecting to be taken advantage of for my “perceived” lack of knowledge surrounding vehicles, but I honestly felt like I was being given transparent, honest, quality service and even decided against using my coupon because of this! I work in sales where selling added features bumps your commission.so I understand the way folks can try to upsale on things, but I can honestly say that I felt zero pressure and was given the information I needed to make my own choices! It’s clear they value incredible customer service, and so I will be returning and most definitely referring!

I honestly can’t get over how good the service this was. I normally dread getting my oil changed because there’s unnecessary upsell‘s and a plethora of unpleasantries it feels like and this was nothing but exceptional friendly service, Informative, and I’m very happy that I made the choice to go here and I will continue to keep going here in the future.

I can’t member The taller dude‘s name that helped out but I was mainly assisted by Shaun and again everything was exceptional service and I brought a coupon zero issues with using it which I’ve run into issues in the past with Mr.lube all in all again very very happy

Edit: just kidding, when they removed the screw to take out my filter they dropped it and now I hear it flying around my engine and the filter isn't sealed.

Everything was fine for my most recent oil change at the end of June, just wished they wouldn't put anything in the washer fluid tanks that will freeze if it's still there in October. (guess I don't go through it that quick) just glad it didn't damage anything.

It used to be that things like signals, wipers, tire pressure, fluid levels were checked or offered to be checked. Nope. None of that. Instead just a grumpy young guy who didn't like how things were set up under the hood, and barely spoke to me. Most of the conversation was casual jokes between staff. Ok, I ended up with an oil change, eventually, and no one was necessarily rude, but I definitely felt like I was in the way. Time to head back to a different lube shop where the service was great in the past and cross my fingers it still will be.

Literally 40 mins to do just a oil change, the service was so slow, ive been coming here for years an never an issue, but the last couple times have been brutal, all they did was talk an talk instead of working on doing there job, will be the last time I come here!

Up sell, up sell, up sell.when I tell them I came with a specific request, please don’t waste your time with offers even if you need to, I will not order anything else, they get upset. Those guys probably highly depend on those sales.this is impacting the quality of the service.

Called them yesterday to verify if they can replace my cvt fluid for nissan rouge and they confirmed they have tools and fluids.went here today and asked again and they say they will check so i told them if you cannot change it please do not change my engine oil. I want to do it on same time with my cvt in one shop she Zoe said okay.after a few minutes she said they cannot do the cvt fluid change as they do not have fluid but they already doing my oil change.which i specifically told them not to do it if they cannot do my cvt.please make sure you listen to your customer instruction before doing anything
