Great Canadian Pizza & Fried Chicken

Very Bad

I do not recommend this restaurant. It is very bad and the food is bad. It is one of the worst Afghan restaurants in Calgary. The owner is disrespectful.

*ALERGY WARNING* we went last night, and ordered a butter chicken. We saw the rice for another order, but there were peas (my bf is allergic to peas). He went and asked about it, and was acknowledged and even asked about it by employees. Not once did they say they didn’t have pea free rice, or offer the naan bread instead. We got home and my bf was eating the food and realized there were peas. Luckily he isn’t anaphylactic, but the biggest thing is WHAT IF HE WAS!? He had a mild reaction, like I said luckily wasn’t ANAPHYLACTIC. Once you are told the allergy.it’s the employees duty to not poison their clientele.

I tried the shawarma here and was extremely disappointed. Flavors were just not there, tasted more like a butter chicken than any other shawarma I've ever had. It was just soggy and overall bad. I would come back though to try the pizza and wings but definitely wouldn't go out of my way.

I normally get the chicken burger, but tonight I went in for a pizza. It was great and the owner is always super pleasant.

Do you call it Pizza? Have you ever eaten pizza? My suggestion is to visit Iran and Dubai then compare Canadian pizza with Iranian.

Their beef and Mushroom pizza is so good. The place serves halal foods.

Quick service, pried well, clean, and open late so good option to bring to hotel rooms near by.had wings and a pizza, everything tasted very god, but made us a bit gasy.
