I went to the new salon in Bowness on Friday (Nov. 24th) and Alissa cut my hair. Wow! She did a fab job and I'm very happy with my cut. I'll definitely be going back. The new place is big, and very clean. The deals on haircuts right now are great. (:

I had a VERY disappointing experience here about a week ago. My hair was down to my butt and gave the stylist a picture showing mid-length hair which would have come down to my chest. Since I was unable to have my glasses on for the cut, I could not see what she was doing and ended up with a long bob just above my shoulders and about 10 inches cut off. By the time I was able to see it, it was too late. Very disappointed. I will NEVER return here. My hair was absolutely butchered and I'll now spend probably about a year growing it out to get to the length that I had requested.

It was my son’s first time getting a haircut at a salon (or attempting to). He was excited singing songs about it leading to it. We talked about it the night before. We booked a walk in appointment prior to arriving. No one acknowledged my excited kiddo. Nobody responded to his excited attempt to say hi. He had a photo of the style he had chosen. After waiting for around 15 minutes, we left. It didn’t seem like the people there were happy to be (or work) there. It seemed like a mass production site, totally impersonal. The opposite of what I wanted my 3yo son’s haircut experience to be. If you have a young kiddo, have a disability or a neurodivergent kid, I suggest you stay clear. I get it that you probably get what you pay for. It was the end of the day and the workers were probably tired too. I was quite unhappy with the experience though and wanted to warn others.

Inexpensive for a quality cut. Not a full service salon, but love the convenience of being able to drop in for a quick cut when I need it.

Most stylists here are excellent! However, there is one stylist who consistently lops hair off unevenly. I asked for a simple trim, with face-framing layers. This is the haircut I received.

She tried to fix it.this is the best she could do.

Honestly, I felt embarrassed for her so I just paid. I didn't want to ask other stylists for help, as this is my regular location and it was too awkward.

This is the first "bad haircut" I've ever had, and now I will have to go and pay to fix this elsewhere.

I’ve been going to this Great Clips for easily 10 years. I’ve had some great stylists, but it’s hit and miss. In January I came in for a cut and my stylist cut WAY too much off in spite of what I asked for, and did a real chop job on my hair: (, the layers were choppy and not even on both sides - easily the worst haircut I’ve had in over 20 years. A few months later I went back to get it evened out and unfortunately ended up with the same stylist who ruined my hair! I thought I’d give her a second chance, but my hair still looks awful after 6 months! The right side of my hair is easily off 2 inches from the left side. Sadly I won’t return because I can’t risk getting the same person a 3rd time, and now I have to find a different salon for my 3rd haircut in 6 months when I usually only go 2/3 times a year.

I come from Scotland and I have used this Salon on three separate visits. Absolutely delighted with my haircut every time. Stylists very friendly and efficient. Great attention to detail.

Went for a quick trim for the sides and back, literally took 3 minutes and they charge me full hair cut price. Never going here again, it was first time here and they helped 4 other clients before me and still charge me $30. All I have to say is wow.

Got my haircut and I'm not satisfied. The cut isn't symmetrical and not what i expected unfortunately ihave to get haircut now from some other place to fix my hair

I come here because the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Never too much of a wait, and I'm always happy with the cuts.

I have gone here many times and each time it somehow gets worse. Took my kiddo there Monday morning for a trim, I had already buzzed the sides and back we just needed the little bit trimmed off the top. Less than 10min and instead of a trim I was charged $21 for a small bit of hair taken off. Went to the one at Sage Hill last time they charged us for a trim for the same thing. Sticking to there. This isn't the first issue with my other child they did such a bad job I had to go to Sage Hill and get them to fix it. Not going back.

Good a really nice haircut, lady was super nice and attentive. The environment was very welcoming and friendly!
