Staff was very kind and empathetic. Dr explained procedures and was very knowledgeable and personable.

I love this Vet. They are so attentive and enthusiastic about caring for my pets. Prices are reasonable. Very happy to be a client.

Very expensive for test strips for my diabetic cat. I usually pay 80$ at my regular vet I paid 160$ here.

The first couple times I came here were amazing. They slipped up a few times more recently, but still a great vet clinic. Far better than some of the other vets in Lethbridge.

A few years ago my dog brought here in an emergency situation. The dog got into sugar free gum and was limp and dying in our arms. They turned us away and said go to your regular vet. So we drove as fast as we could to Taber which is where we took her before for shots. The dog ended up surviving but it was close. She was under a year old. I do not recommend this vet to anyone.

Thank you so much to everyone at Green Acres Animal Hospital. You have gone above and beyond to get my baby boy, Chaos, home to my family and I. I cannot thank you enough for how much you helped my family and I through this whole process. Morgan, Emily and Carissa, I will forever be grateful to the three of you for making this simple and painless for us.

My dog had a day surgery, staff was so nice to the doggo and gave him lots of pats. Said he was a good patient. Even though he's supposed to be resting he acts like nothing happened. Thank you!

I needed a prescription for my dog and due to road conditions I was told I could have the prescription faxed to a vet clinic in Lethbridge (I go to Ft. MacLeod Vet Clinic). I chose Green Acres because historically my family used this clinic.
I phoned Green Acres this morning to explain and ask when the prescription would be ready. I was told to come this afternoon. I went (in the bad road conditions) to pick up the prescription. When I got there I was told that they couldn’t fill my prescription because they had never seen my dog. (They didn’t tell me this on the phone, this morning). Then they brought out a paper prescription which belonged to someone else, and was going to hand it to me. I told them that was not my prescription. Then I gave them my name and my pups name again.
Then I was told that legally and ethically they cannot fill the prescription unless they have seen the animal. I explained that I was confused, because my vet told me the opposite - if a prescription is sent from a vet to another clinic - the vet clinic can fill it. So I left. I called my vet. They said that what Green Acres said is untrue, and asked if I would like them to send my prescription to another clinic. I agreed.
When I got home, I looked up the information and this is what I found:
You may take a copy of your valid prescription and ask another veterinarian to fill it, even if you don't have a VCPR with the other veterinarian. BUT, the other veterinarian does not have to fill that prescription. Whether or not a veterinarian dispenses any medication is a personal business decision.
So I guess it isn’t ethically wrong to lie to potential clients. I won’t go there for anything again. SMH

The quality of care in the services provided has been consistently above and beyond our expectations. The staff are second to none, and treat your pet with the comfort, compassion, and dedication one would associate with their ideal veterinarian.

After having issues with my puppy’s, microchip, and several calls to the office to have an unsatisfactory resolution and no attempts at an apology is quite disappointing. I have canceled an upcoming surgery because of this and they said that’s totally fine and that be happy to transfer my file elsewhere, Which at this point really seems the best solution for all when there’s a lot such a lack of care or concern over their errors.
